Finx jestered around her. "Does it look like im up to anything?" She asked as walked into another room.

"My name is Nina sir. Who are you sir and what are you? I can feel that you are not human. You better tell me who you are and I will get out of your way." Kai smiled at what the girl in front of him was saying. If she only knew what he was. He was one of the most feared supernatural beings of all time. He was a vampire, a undead killer. Glancing around he noticed that there was a ring glowing on the girls hand. Before he could stop himself he said," How did you get such a pretty trinket, human? Regardless, I doubt you even know how it is used. Anyhow, you are in my manor. My name is Kai and as you have guessed correctly I am not all human. I am not even remotely human. I am a vampire, and you are currently tresspassing."

Nina did look at him and than her ring was glowing even more and really didn't think of it at the time but this vampire was different from the others "well the ring was given to me by grandmother my family was like this guardian thing for many years but the thing is the vampire lord was in love the vampire guardian and she didn't like it at all so she send him to a world that he would never come back and why are you looking me as well Mr Kai?" Nina doesn't like him at all she backed up a little bit and tried not to get close to him and thought he is weird.

Kai chuckled when he heard this girl say this. So she was the granddaughter of the wrteched woman that had imprisoned him so many years ago. "So," started Kai. "You're the miserable whelp that is the granddaughter of Gretchen. That woman." He let out a hard barkish laugh. "That woman, I gave her everything, and loved her, and she betrayed me." Kai turned his back on her as he began to breath deeply to calm his frazzled nerves. As he turned around he noticed that the girl was inching farther and father back from him. Smiling he said," You do not need to feel frightened of me. It's in the past. While I will probably never forgive your grandmother for her transgressions. I know that you are not her. You barely resemble her. The only thing in common that you have is the ring that you share."

Nina looked at him and felt different about him the ring stop glowing and Nina was like was blushing and than Nina looked away from him and the girl was in love with him but why do this to her as well but Nina just didn't think about it at all. Nina got closer to him and put her hand on his cheek and looked at him "Mr kai if you are saying is true about it is all in the past would do you really care for me and love me when you cared for my grandmother in the past that is all I want to know?" Nina looked at him with her dark black eyes looking at him and she couldn't look away from him she was like under his spell as well and Nina was falling for him.

"Mr. Kai if what you are saying is true, about it is all being in the past; would you really care for me and love me as you had cared for my grandmother in the past? That is all I want to know." Kai thought through his own confused emotions, and came to one simple conclusion. This girl clearly wasn't her grandmother, he had stated that earlier, and the only thing that they had in common was the ring, he had stated that as well. "It might be difficult," said Kai as he straightened himself up. "I have not been with someone in a long time, nor have I been with another vampire guardian since the 'incident' with your grandmother, but I am willing to work for it, if you are." Kai locked his verdant, green eyes with Nina's.

He walks into the room too. "Well, it looks like your trying to rule over your peoples, I can see that much." he answers.

Finx laughed. "Well thats not so bad now is it?" She kept walking till she came to her room. she turned toward him. "The room across from mine is free." She then entered her room.

He walked into the room that she indicated and looked around, it was a nice cozzy room, the neccasities and a bit more, like any castle. He laid down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling, he felt strange, wid awake, and tired.

Im the morning the cooks could be heard making breakfast. The maids sprucing things up and getting cloths out of the closets. Finx changed from PJs into a blue tee shirt and black pants.

He awoke hearing sounds of a busy castle morning, and was a bit confuzed at first, not being used to waking with a permanant roof over his head, then he stood up and stretched.

A maid come in and put some butler clothes on his bed to change into. "I'm sorry sir but thats all we have in the way of mens cloths." She left him to change.

He looked at the clothes and favoring his, he washed his and he put the butler clothes on for now, he'd changed once his now drying clothes were dry. He walked around the castle, learning the layout, being a smart fighter, he wanted to know the castle layout.

Finx snuck up behind him and "BOO!" She said trying to scare him.

He turned a little startled. "Morning." he greeted her smiling kindly.

Finx frowned seeing that he wasnt in a corner cowering in fear. She sighed "I ready for stuffy." She pulled her hair in to a hair tie and walked towards the front of her castle and sat on the throne jesturing to the left. "Come sit." She said as a servant come in and put a small chair to her left but down more.

He follows her and laughs softly sitting down, knowing somethings he knew her to not know, but he wouldn't share the just yet. He looked around noticing details of the throne room, and he was curious as to just how old this castle was and how many battles it withstood throughout it's history.

She sighed "Well here comes people to ask me if i can help them with stuff." 5 whole hours later the last person left. Finx gasped "dear lord did every werewolf show up?"

"It seemed like it just about, didn't it?" he says. "They didn't seem too shocked to see me though."

finx shrugged "they probly thought you where my king to be....oh god."

"What is it?" he asked curiously. He thought he knew why she said that but wasen't certain.

"THey think were betrothed. Crap why didn't I think of that. Oh man there going to be spreading the news that I'm finally getting married." Finx said as she sank into her chair looking as if she wanted to go through it.

"If you don't want to go through with it I can fake my own death or something, and remain hidden well, they wouldn't know I'm here." he says. "Unless you want to go through with that and make the news real." he wouldn't mind that too much, who knows maybe he'llcome to like it.

Finx fell out of her throne with a soft thud if she had been drinking she would have choked. "I-I-I um well then I'm not sure how to respond to that."
