No Waffle it doesn't. It has to do with people using the lottery to gain gold without actually purchasing a ticket.

That is upsetting. If you find out about a glitch, or find a place that shouldn't be viewed by a regular user, you should report it.
Things like this have a potential of ruining a site by scaring people off and such -.-.
Plus it is fustrating to the users who were affected by it.

The way the lottery was being manipulated, was there any possible chance that someone could have done it unknowingly?
Either way, it's a shock to hear this. :/

No - it would have had to have been very deliberate to exploit the lottery in such a way.

What is most upsetting about this particular glitch is that there was a clique of people who knew about this and chose NOT to report it. No, there isn't a way you could have done it unknowingly. And I agree it is frustrating for the innocent users who are affected by it.

I wouldn't know where to begin to cheat the lotto, but I knew it could be done after the first time they hacked into it and effected other users. I thought it had been made more secure though until this recent hack that effected other users.

This week's lottery should be unaffected by everything... Remember when the Lottery went down for a few hours? That was when extra measures were put into place to prevent this from happening again.
