"I think my name is on the list." She lowered her voice to a sultry whisper, leaning in close to press at a random spot on the paper, at the same time glancing at Jonouchi's name on the ID card all Kaiba Corp. staff were required to wear around their necks. "Jonouchi-kun..."

He just smirked and shook his head "I am sorry miss
I dought you are are the vice president Makuba..." He
said and laughed lightly to himself. "So once more
would you like to leave a message for him?" He asked
and sat back she she was not qutie so close to him.

Seto was impressed; most men would be drooling over her by now, willing to do everything she said. The CEO felt disgusted just looking at the red-headed leech.

The woman scowled, obviously used to having her way with men. "Nothing, never mind." She snapped, storming out of the building.

Jou sighed as she lefted and brushed back his hair
he hated girls like her. Thinking they could use their
body's to swoon him, it was sick really.

He grabbed his papers and started working on sorting
out their names making sure they where all right.
he was slightly panicked when lunch was nearing and
he was almost done but not quite. He growled and
set him mind to it and kept working. He would not
fail here not at this.

Seto made a small noise of approval in how the blonde handled the infuriating woman and turned back to his work.

A few hours later, lunch rolled around and Seto called for his usual lunch to be sent up to his office. He always worked through his lunch, a fact that never failed to drive Mokuba crazy with worry for his older brother. His little brother just didn't seem to get that all the work was necessary... He was the CEO to a huge corporation, after all.

The blond was satisfied as he placed the last
file in to he c pile. He grinned to himself not
knowing that he was being watched from within
the CEO's office.

Just as we had gotten done Seto's lunch came to
his desk for it to be brought in. He thanked the
man paid him and sent him off. He got up and took
the lunch in. "Sir your lunch is here where would
you like it?" He asked and waited...

"Just give it to me, I'll eat it here." Seto muttered, never looking up once. He was far too occupied with staring down at the paper in front of him to pay much attention to the stupid puppy. It was one of the important ones from a shady character that he had to read through thoroughly and read all the fine print before signing anything.

Joey sighed and set it down, he had to feel sorry for
the kid to live with some one like Kabia. This might
just be worse then some one like his Dad. "Well is there
any thing else I can bring you before I go to lunch?"
He asked thinking he would be to in his work to care.

"No, just go." Seto waved the other off, a frown on his face as he studied the paper. "Your lunch break is an hour long." He mumbled, his face serious and concentrated.

Joey sighed wanting to go to his lunch but found
it hard to leave the other one. He looked to upset
something was the matter. He snaped himself out of
his thought "Was i just worrying over Kaiba?"
He asked himself and sighed "I'll be back before
that..."

"Hn." Seto grunted out a response, tuning Jonouchi out at this point.

Kaiba Corp. was always under threat of being taken over. There were thousands of people who wanted to control it and it's huge industry, but no one but Seto had managed to yank the spot of CEO out from someone else's feet and he was certainly not willing to give up. He kept close watch over the stocks, making sure he and Mokuba owned more than fifty percent at all times.

Recently, though, someone who was extremely persistent kept on trying to get more and more out of the company. More stocks, more profit. Seto feared this man might actually be a threat and he read anything the man sent personally, to check and see if there was anything potentially hazardous to himself on there.

All the contract reading was starting to give him a headache, but still he read it several times over, his mind already coming up with any possible loopholes in it.
