I'm going to attempt to make a Yan (hopefully I can be done before the event is over). I'll post my pics from making it here.
He's done! took about 3 hours, and I remember now why I hate hand sewing, lol. I decided to make a rag doll Yan.

I used: White fabric, Black chenille yarn, White sewing thread, black embroidery thread, and the late addition of a permanent marker, which is why it's not in the pic.
It should have a body, right.X
Here it is, the body....although at this point, it kind of looks more like a sack, lol.
Head, anyone?X
It's got a head!......I thought it might nice to give arms too, it has to have something to eat with after all.

At last it's finished! I think it's about 8-10 in. high, I had to turn my binder diagonal to fit the whole thing in the pic. I used the marker for the face, I was going to embroider it, but I found out that I absolutely suck at it, lol.
