Ingredients:
- Wide Egg Noodles
- Red Bell Peppers
- Chicken Thighs (Or Seitan or whatever meat substitute you'd like to use.)
- Butter (I used vegan butter.)
- Hungarian Paprika
- Smoked Paprika (or Cayenne Pepper)
- One Yellow Onion
- Sour Cream (To make this vegan, use some dairy free yogurt.)
- Water
- Salt and Pepper (To taste)
Method:
1. Begin to boil some water and cook egg noodles according to package
2. Chop your peppers and onions and prepare high sided skillet on medium to medium high heat with some butter inside to melt.
3. Add the peppers and onions to the skillet and saute until they are soft.
4. Add about 2-3Tbsp of Hungarian Paprika
5. Add about 1-2Tbsp of Smoked Paprika
6. Stir the veggies in the paprikas a little bit, then add a half cup of water.
7. Add raw chicken or prepared seitan to the skillet.
8. Add two Tbsp of Sour Cream and give it a stir.
9. Let simmer for a fifteen minutes, then set aside to cool
10. Put noodles on the bottom of a bowl and then pour the Paprikash over the noodles!
