(Alright I know this is a rather long read but please bare with me on it. I do ask that if you choose not to read the work I put into this completely then please for the love of sanity (mainly mine) at least READ THE RULES! Thank you and have a good time. :D)

(The spots for supernatural beings are now CLOSED, however humans will always be OPEN. :D)

Once upon a time... there was a house, but not just any house but a house that was to be the dream home of a young couple who had recently been unexpectedly blessed with wealth. Neither had come from a particularly rich or noble family, in fact their families had been rather poor, but despite that they were happy with their lives before. No one quite remembers how it was these two unlikely poor people got their wealth, but they now had it and with it they planned on building a suitable home for their planned family.

The land they picked and bought to have their home on was perfect. Surrounded by a sea of rich and radiant green grass intermixed with colorful flowers. Trees sprinkled about bearing large abundances of fruit. Why it was the previous owners were so willing to sell the plot and why they had not chosen to build a house here themselves the couple couldn't imagine. Regardless though they would and they were going to be happy.

It wasn't until construction began that odd accidents began to happen. Rumors of builders, men and women alike, going mad once they set foot on the ground at the start of the construction was the first to circulate through the town. The couple and town at first thought nothing of it nor did they link it to any association with the grounds as an epidemic of fever besieged the town. Perhaps they were merely ill and only saw the hallucinations from the side effects of a fever. Work on the house stopped for a few days only before resuming again.

Another strange incident didn't occur until the construction of the house was halfway finished. The foreman of the construction was found hanging from one of the rafters of the unfinished ceiling and had, from the looks of it, been hanging there all night. The couple, as well as others of the town, were shocked at the discover, but then there had also been rumors that he and his own family had fallen on hard times. Aside from work he had usually been seen out drinking and there were even some rumors of abuse occurring in his home floating around, and so the death was attributed to suicide. For a week construction was put on hold.

The next set of incidents didn't occur again until the completion of the house. A party had been thrown in celebration of the new couple's completed home, and for that they were thankful. The party went off without a hitch and was considered a success...until the discovery the next morning. Another couple that had been friendly with the ones throwing the party, but unfortunately could not attend the party, was the one that found the horror. When they entered the home they suddenly found all those that had been present the night before, including the couple they had come to congratulate, dead with looks of horror forever etched on their faces. Some copied the foreman and were hanging from the now completed ceiling, while others were mauled beyond recognition. Blood painted the walls a deep red color in some areas while in others various messages were scrolled on the once light colored walls with cryptic messages such as “No escape” and “They're coming” as well as many others that only posed more questions, but gave no hint as to what had happened.

The house was later condemned for destruction once one investigator after the other, that was sent to try and solve the mystery, were found dead as well. Some were maimed as if by wild animals, others had what appeared to be gun wounds with the suspected weapon clutched tightly in their own hands. There was one instance where an investigator was found with their eyes gorged out, their tongue and fingers missing, their legs broken and stripped of flesh with a fork, of all things, stabbed securely within his skull.

The house however was never destroyed as there seemed to always be something that would interfere with the attempts: demolitionists found dead within either the house or their machines, dynamite fuzes being duds but exploding later when away from the house killing those around, the chains of wrecking balls snapping before being swung forward and usually crashing into the crane that had been holding it killing those around and within it. It seemed all attempts at destroying the house were futile. Rumors began flying around that some evil supernatural force was preventing it from being destroyed and even going so far as to call it 'haunted'.

Eventually the house and entrance to it was sealed off, as it was deemed too dangerous of a place, and people willing to try and destroy the house were becoming far and few between for fear of their lives. It was hoped that eventually the house would collapse due to aging and erosion. Years passed with the history and past of the house fading into the backs of people's minds, despite the fact the house seemed never changing as it continued to proudly stand, looking the same it had the day it had been completed, though the grounds that the house stand on took on a slightly darker and wilder look at night it seemed.

Recently the house and its grounds were bought by the government, despite its bloody past. Their plan was to dismiss any remaining claims that the house was haunted and was nothing more than a regular house and use this somehow to their advantage in upcoming elections. Cleaners and repair men were sent in to fix anything that needed to be fixed, only to find nothing actually wrong with the house, other than it needing a good cleaning. To the surprise of those whom knew and remembered the rumored past of the house all of those sent in came out alive and unscathed. Perhaps this really was a normal house and something else happened to explain the 'incidents', however many people were still unwilling to stay in the house. In an attempt to continue to cease the fears of the people the mayor has issued that any souls willing to stay in the house for three weeks would be rewarded handsomely.

At the moment one person has stepped forward, a stranger of the town but claiming to know more about the house then anyone else. He has offered to be the group's 'guide'. At first the mayor was rather skeptical and felt there was no need for such a thing, but the stranger claimed that it would help ease some of the fears any of those volunteering to stay, and thus would help make his campaign a success. After that the mayor agreed to allow the stranger to act as the role of a 'guide' and await the group at the house itself to welcome any to:

BloodWidow Manor

The Place...

Blood Widow Manor is what one would expect of a noble manor house: very large and elegant with rather beautiful grounds. The grounds itself radiates with vibrant and healthy green grass with various shape sizes and colors of flowers intermixed. Scattered throughout are various sizes of trees, both young and old, that are in the midst of bearing ripe fruits consisting of apples, pears and even a few oranges. There are a few trees however that do not bear fruit such as the large weeping willow that lies towards the further part of the grounds and centered, or the two cherry blossom trees that are slowly beginning to open. Along with the weeping willow, and further back still, appears to be the start of a small wooded area and perfect for a lovely game of 'hide and seek'.

At the start of the grounds is a rather large iron metal gate that appears clear of any rust, and seems to 'welcome' any guest that desires entrance. Its decorated with some colors of gold in a few of the swirl designs at the top and bottom of the gate. In the center where it is to split is a large engraving of the letters B.W. Due to the recent closing off of the area large and thick metal chains were wrapped around the area of the gate that would typically split and allow entrance, and locked securely with a key operated lock. Since this little campaign 'project' however the key to the lock has been passed over to the one that is to be the 'guide' of the house, as well as a few extras for anyone else just in case.

From the gate extends a fence that seems to go on and disappear much further down at either end, and is made of the same cast iron that the gate was made of. The poles within the fence, that holds it up, appear to have been built to keep robbers and thieves out as they are a bit too tall to climb without effort, and the tops are spiked out in all directions. This was perhaps to prevent any form of a hand hold at the top without having to impale your hand on one or more of the spikes. Despite the ominous looking top, just below it is the same golden swirled design as at the gate entrance, however at the bottom the swirled designs are merely the same color of iron as the fence and gate.

Leading from the entrance gate there appears to be a graveled road, that appears neat and is lined with stones made of granite with a few Romanesque type statues of Venus, Zeus and various others. Towards the 'end' the gravel path circles around a rather large four tier lion head fountain, made of a white marble with a surrounding pool containing cool and fairly clear water and a few blossoming lily pads, and returns back into the path that leads to and from the entrance gate.

Aside from the road the front 'lawn' and closer to the manor itself an intricate design of hedges swirl and twist this way and that, and could be perhaps a maze for small children but only about waist high on an adult. On the hedges appear to be a mixture of white, blue, red, pink and even yellow roses that are mingled within the leaves and tops here and there. It's possible that it was intended to be a sort of walk through flower 'garden' for the young wife of the previous couple.

As one makes there way from the graveled path and to the gleaming white stairs of the manor itself, they would be greeted by the sight of two Romanesque columns that lined the front porch area of the manor that held up the outstretched triangular 'roof' of the porch that held the carvings of a scene of angels in various poses. Looking at the porch itself one would be able to see that it was made of a rather sturdy wood that was painted white and met the off white colored outer walls of the manor.

Looking further up and around at the walls one would be able to see first the two large oval shaped windows, that were intended as ones to look out when one sat in the window seats that both contained on the inside, and above them were more common, though numerous, squarish windows until the very top. At the top was a large stained glass window depicting an angel with orange hair and a flowing white gown, and complete with white wings, surrounded in a background of blue and green with a few trees. All of the windows then, including the stain glass one at the top, were lined by beautiful polished oak borders. If one walked around the entire manor itself, they would find more numerous and squarish windows that were lined with the same oak border.

The windows reached up until the triangular roof of the manor itself, where on the end statuettes of angels where perched, almost as if guarding the house. They looked to be made of the same white marble as the other statues on the ground and in various different poses. The white of the statuettes stood out from the dark brown shingles of the roof, making them fairly noticeable even in the day time.

At the entrance of the manor stood a painted white oak door with a pewter door knocker in the shape of a human hand holding a small ball. One one of the fingers of the knocker was what appeared to be a ring, and at the wrist a suggestion of a sleeve with slight frills as well as what appeared to be a bracelet with rectangular beads as the design. On either side of the door was a rectangular stained glass window that contained a person laughing with their hands up in a field of red and yellow wild flowers.

If one walked around to the back of the manor they would find another door that was led to by a smaller set of stairs then the front, and had iron handrails. This time the door was made of glass with golden handles and had a light in the shape of a lantern hanging beside it.

Once one entered through the front door door they would be greeted with the sight of the entrance lounge. Dark red carpet rug had been placed in, though originally it had been white before people were sent in to 'fix it up', that led to the grand stairwell that contained onyx marble stairs that branched off and then came together again at the top of the floors. The rails, that extended up and throughout the top level until met with a solid wall, were a white marble with the pillars at either end containing a golden steel ball. The walls surrounding the room were an off white color and clearly made of the highest quality plaster. The floor itself was a black marble tile that expanded into some of the surrounding rooms. There were a few decorations of plants and various kinds of paintings and artworks here and there.

The room to the left leads to the kitchen area. It's rather large, but also pretty basic. It has the essentials found in most kitchens such as a fridge, stove, sink, cupboards, a pantry stocked with food, as well as many other modern appliances that were just recently put in. The main difference between this kitchen and many other kitchens is the door that leads to the underground wine cellar, that currently contains various dates and kinds of wines on shelves made of cast iron. The floor of the kitchen is made of the same marble tile as the entrance hall, with the difference being that instead of black it is a lovely shade of blue-green to match the similar colored walls. On the walls are the cabinets made of finely crafted dark oak with a glossy finish. A simple yet elegant wall clock is also present. The numbers are in roman numerals while the clock is a wired design of a diamond in the center of a blue ceramic flower. At one end of the kitchen is also a china cabinet that is filled with a complete cheery blossom designed china set. The glass door that leads into the back of the grounds is also present in this room.

Back in the entrance lounge if one were to go to the room on the right they would find a day room, or a living room to use the more modern term. Here is where the two window seats are placed with fluffed cream satin pillows for one to use to cushion themselves further on the seats. Two long and renovated couches, one a deep brown color while the other a dark green, with silk like cushions are present and could seat at least nine or ten people comfortably on them each. There are also many chairs of the same colors and of similar material, all of which have an accompaniment of small and dark wooden end tables. In the center of the room is a large oval shaped coffee table that has many different cubbies underneath the main surface of the table. At the far wall, and were anyone seated on any of the seating could comfortably see, a rather large and new television rested into the wall itself. It was clearly one of the few added features that the repairmen had placed in. Near it, but still a safe distance away was a red brick fireplace with a dark wooden mantle. On it were a few pictures, many of a man and woman that were perhaps the previous owners of the house. They were old and worn but rested peacefully in protective wooden frames. The dark colors in the room matched the darker color of the walls, a deep brown shade, that then matched the black carpet that had recently been put down in place of the once hardwood floors.

Connected to this room too is a small walk way that would lead to one of the many bathrooms of the house. This particular one was small and only housed a black porcelain toilet with a matching sink, behind a light colored oak door. A small mirror hung on one of the sky blue colored walls and above
the sink. The floors here were white and felt like ceramic tiles rather than marble.

Once more returning to the lounge room one will find that beyond the stairs is another hallway on either side. One hallway will lead those to the library where books on wide variety of subjects are placed on dark wood book shelves. It is also a room that has two stories with access to the second level being at the far end and up the staircase, though there is also a man pulled elevator cage that one could use as well. The walls in this room are a deep maroon color while the floors are a sandy brown color and made from hardwood.

At the other end of the room, opposite the elevator, is a door that leads to the 'entertainment' room where a variety of games, both modern and not, are stored or set up. Many televisions are also placed in here due to the increased amount of counsel games, as the mayor placed a fair amount of money in this area to try and attract people to come. There are also things like Foosball tables, pool tables and even a few arcade games in here. The room is a similar color and design as the library with the main differences being that it was only one floor and the hardwood had been turned to carpet.

Going back to the hall and pass the library door one would find many different colored oak doors that appeared quite different from the more 'old fashion' looking brown ones. Each door clearly had a glossy finish, giving it the smooth shine look to its color. The doorhandles on each door too varied in shape, material and size, as some appeared to be in the shape of characters while others were merely shapes. What laid beyond these particular doors appeared to be places of sleep, or bedrooms as they're more commonly referred to as. There were a few though that appeared to be simply barren rooms with different colored walls and flooring.

Retracing steps and into the other hallway behind the stairs, one would find a most luxurious bathroom. The sink was white with a golden color faucet and stood near a white colored toilet with the same kind of handle as the faucet. The seat and lid of it had etchings of golden floral designs within it, although not enough so or in such a way that it would be uncomfortable. A bit away from the toilet was a rather large circular bathtub with white carpeted stairs that were used to get in. On the blue colored wall hung an attachable shower head, that one could easily reach in a leaned back sitting position if their arm length allowed. The shower head, handles for the bath and faucet for the bath were also painted a gleaming gold color. Above the sink was a small mirror, while a larger full body mirror stood polished and proud next to the tube. The floor of this room, like the stairs that led helped on into the tub was a white colored carpet. The walls were a vibrant sky blue color that had a painted scene all around consisting of both clouds and playful looking angels.

Returning to his hall one would find doors and rooms that were similar to the halls that contained bedrooms and vacant rooms. At the end of the hall though there was a door that was made not from wood but a heavy metal and not painted. Beyond the door were wooden stairs that, were well aged though not broken, descended below ground clearly marking it as a basement of sorts. The area contained random material goods, probably all of which belonged to the previous owners. The walls were made only of cement while the ceiling revealed the wooden rafters that kept the first floor from caving in. In a far corner the boiler, water heater and other essentials of the household wiring and utilities were kept. They looked a bit old fashioned, a clear sign that they were not some of the things that had been renovated nor did they look like they needed to be, but they worked just fine.

Back at the stairs that were in the entrance lounge, if one were to ascend them they would find themselves on the second floor where more various kinds of rooms were kept that included more bedrooms, bathrooms, a few studies, and various other kinds of rooms that were included to either entertain, be seen as useful or essential.

Here too on the second floor one would find entrance to the attic. The door was perhaps the only one that seemed a bit more old fashioned then the rest and was clearly made of unpainted wood. It was a bit worn and had an old fashion lock that seemed to require a specific key. The handle appeared to be a relatively regular bronze diamond shape making it indeed very different from the more extravagant doors. Why it was this was once left undone is unknown to all except perhaps to those that had done the repairs, cleaning and possibly the mayor. It was also unknown what exactly was contained in the attic as it appears to be locked. Unfortunately since the keyhole was specific to a certain key, a replica or replacement could not be made successfully.

There are still many secrets within Blood Widow Manor as not everything has yet been discovered. Exploration is encouraged, after all who knows what you'll find...

The Time...

The current year is 2011, almost 100 years since the manor had originally had been built. It is currently towards the end of Spring, with the snow from winter long since gone. The nights are still occasionally chilly, though if it gets too cold the heat within the manor could be turned on. The days are clearly warming up and the sun is out fairly often, such as it is today. The forecast for the night was believed to have a chance of a light rain. It is just a bit passed noon time so there's still plenty of daylight left.

The Rules...

1.Standard Mene rules apply

2. I will allow humans in this roleplay to have some sort of 'psychic' awareness/abilities/powers/whatever else you wish to call them, however I do NOT want people going overboard with them or give them every single psychic ability/power/awareness/whatever else you want to call them imaginable, making them super powerful and hard to kill. They are humans after all. What sorts of things I will allow with be discussed in the character skeletons.

3. Literacy isn’t too important though please don’t capitalize every single word It Gets Really Annoying! It is also a pet peeve of mine. One other thing I do require is punctuation that is more than just a comma thrown in here and there. You need at least periods at the end of your sentences otherwise your post becomes too messy and hard to understand. If you don't put at least periods at the end of your sentences then be prepared to receive a PM from me. I'm more than willing to work with people and help them out, especially if they're younger or if you're not quite fluent in English grammar or language. Even if you feel the need to PM me your posts to look over before you post it, I'm fine with that and more than willing to help you that way if you need it. Also when you post please don't choose overly bright colors such as lime green or the uber light blue. My eyes are not the best and I get tired of constantly having to highlight the text just to read it. If you want to use color for your text then that's fine, just don't make it really light please!

4. I will accept one liners since I can understand things like writer’s block but, please make it a sentence that people can work off of. Don’t put something like: “She smiled.” That is not a sentence and it makes it very very difficult to work off of. Something like: “As he ran outside to get away from everyone, she couldn't help but let out a devilish smile that hinted she had some future plans for a scrawny straw haired boy” is easier to work with. However don't claim writer's block the moment after you've join. I swear to all things holy and unholy if you do that I will smack you with a fish. There's a smiley for that now and by god I'm not afraid to use it! When you join you should already have an idea of what you're going to post.

5. Always leave a ‘door’ open for people’s character’s to come in if someone leaves.

6. Don’t go too incredibly far without someone which should help with rule #5, although I can understand excitement or if someone doesn't come on for days.

7. No invincible characters, if they’re really good at something that’s alright but if there’s a fight let them get injured a couple of times if attacked.

8. Don’t take control of other peoples characters unless you have their permission. For example if Joey needs to go because it’s bed time and says Nina can play his character while he’s gone then that’s alright.

9. Anyone is welcomed to jump in at any time despite the page number.

10. Bios or intros are both accepted. Choose whichever you’re more comfortable with though bios make it easier to refer off of and for me to post up with the others.

11. Please don’t kill another person’s character without their permission. (Note this ties in with #8)

12. Don’t create more characters than you can handle.

13. Keep things PG-13 please. Violence, gore and romance is allowed. However what I don't want to see is nookie alright? You know what's acceptable on here and what's not. If you wish to go overly graphic in something that you know would get the board in trouble then don't post it. If you're not sure if something your about to post is acceptable or not, then chances are it's not. You can hint to things though if again it's something overly graphic though keep the hint very very VERY very very very vague...

14. Have some way of distinguishing between your character text and you’re out of character (OOC).

15. Ask to join if you want but it’s not required. With your characters please PM me your character profiles to be accepted. Due note that I will be going through and posting up your profiles on my first post, in quotes of course, when they are accepted so that it's easier for others to have access to your characters info. I am a fairly lenient person so more than likely your character will be immediately accepted, due note though if I do find something that needs a bit of improvement I will PM you back telling you what that improvement is. I will also send a confirmation PM to you to tell you that your character has been accepted.

16. Please keep things fairly even. I don’t want 20 females and 2 males. The only exception to this rule is the ratio of supernatural beings to humans. There are suppose to be more humans then actual supernatural beings (Illusions and such do not count in this as they are illusions and not real).

17. Please, please, please for the love of all things holy and unholy read everyone’s post, even if it was posted before you joined. If you skip reading them you may very well be missing a crucial detail pertaining to the storyline or your character indirectly. I can’t stress this enough! If you don't read them trust me I'll know. I can give you a brief summary of what's happened if you're away, but I WILL on purposely leave out VITAL information just to make sure that you will read them. I'm not requesting this I'm telling you this is what I expect, and if you don't follow it your gone plain and simple. I can understand if you didn't see someone's post because someone elses post sort of made it 'hidden' (Do NOT make this excuse a habit out of this though) or posted while you were typing. If it happens that someone posts something while you were making a post then just edit your post a bit to make your post fit if it deals with something you need or should respond to.

18. I don't want creatures to be overly used, such as almost everyone being the same kind of vampire, were-creature, demon, angel, ect...There's a large variety of things out there you can be. If your a demon be specific. What kind of demon are you? Earth demon, Time demon, feather demon, shiny slingshot demon, ect...? Same with vampires and were creatures. Are you a day walking vampire? One that can only live or move at night? Are you a were-penguin? Or a were-squirrel? Come on, be creative! (That's right I said it, were-penguin! XD)

19. To make sure you've read, understand and are willing to follow my many rules (sorry about that  ) I would like you to put the following line in the title of your PM: 'Read my lips: save the warnings for someone who's not broke!' if you're joining as a human. If you're wanting to join as a supernatural being then please entitle it: 'It eats my relatives! Or did you miss that in your research? '. I would also like you to put in the quote/scene description:
Quote:
Nick: [as Emery's mother is strangling Cathy] I beg your pardon. Would you mind terribly letting her go?
[Emery's mother doesn't stop]
Nick: I guess not.
at the start of your PM.

20. When you post your intro, and there are separate groups already established in a spot and are doing something, do NOT make it to where they have to drop everything that they are doing and go off to find your character. I absolutely HATE when people do that. If you want interaction with your character you have to make it happen. Everyone shouldn't have to stop what they're doing just to come interact with your character. What I will accept is powers that will draw a character group towards your character, such as if one of your character's powers are to alter the path that say the group is walking on and they happen upon you at some point then fine, but don't just sit there singing a song on a rock by a lake that they're no where near in hopes that they will stop what they're doing, hear your song and come find you. It just doesn't work that way, unless of course one of your powers deals with luring people like a siren's song, but at least make sure your character is rather close to the group before you even dare to try this.

21. And one final (hopefully) rule: please be respectful towards others here. It’s alright if your character hates another person’s character, due to the plot of this rp, but don’t be rude, crude, or mean to someone in OOC. I’d like this to go rather peacefully.

The Character Skeleton...
Menewsha Name:

Name: (I'd prefer if there were no 'No name' or 'Unknown' characters)

Nickname(s): (Optional)

Age: (Please put some number here, preferably within reason. I don't want any humans (even those with a bit of psychic awareness) being an unreasonable age. Supernatural beings get a little more leniency with age, though let's not do something like 7854984639876589764897. The max age that I shall allow is 324. I'd also rather people didn't do something like 'Since the beginning of time' or 'too old to remember', just put a reasonable number please. )

Gender: (I'd prefer they'd have a gender but if you absolutely must be ambiguous then alright, but I don't want everyone choosing this option. I want primarily males and females please. )

Race: (What is your character? Human? Something supernatural? Human with psychic awareness? With supernatural beings I'm not too incredibly picky with what I'll accept and not accept, though let's not go overboard with this either and have a god/goddess of everyone and everything with all the powers in the world shall we?)

Personality: (Please put an actual personality here and not “you’ll find out” or “TBA” I absolutely hate it when people do this. I do know how there are a fair amount of people out there that do not like to be restrained to such things as the personality in character bios, which is why when you put this think of it more as a basic skeleton or guideline for the general idea of how you want your character to be rather then something exact. It's alright to step outside of what you put here since most beings here are human, and humans are unpredictable and have a tendency to change with their situations. Someone who is usually calm and collected can suddenly become a being that's so panicked in a dangerous situation that they run around like a chicken with their head cut off. It's also the same with supernatural beings.)

Psychic abilities/Powers: (Ok all let's not get over our heads on this one. I'm pretty lenient here, but I don't want a character to have control over everything and anything. I also won't accept mind control over anyone they want. If you want mind control then it can only be over characters not actually played by people. In other words NPC characters only. I also don't want an overly ridiculous powerful character. For example if one of the creatures are deemed a god over everything (not that I would allow that anyways) and can control everything with the wink of his eye, you'll probably will not get that power. If that was they're only power then think up something else. Also humans sorry but no control over the elements. Although I'm lenient I do have a few restrictions. I want human powers to be more well psychic based such as limited foresight/precognative (seeing into the future, also known as 'future sight'), telepathy, telekinesis, automatic writing, retrocognition (knowledge of a past event which could not have been learned or inferred by normal means like seeing the dead and/or speaking with them), remote viewing (ability to gather information about a distant or unseen target using paranormal means, in particular, extra-sensory perception (ESP) or sensing with mind.), psychometry (the claimed ability to make relevant associations from an object of unknown history by making physical contact with that object ), ect... Also supernatural beings have a choice on whether they would like their all/any of their powers displayed (This is the only piece of information I will allow for this to happen everything else will be displayed no matter what), however in the PM to me you MUST list them all. From there you can tell me which ones you want displayed. Also humans if you start out with no psychic abilities from the start you may 'awaken' to a few later on if you want.)

Weakness: (Mainly for supernatural beings. If you're human then your weakness is mainly you die the same ways as any other human can. You can also have added weaknesses if you have psychic abilities, such as getting rather painful headaches, a weakened heart for a period of time, illness, exhaustion after use, ect...)

Supernatural 'Title: (Only for supernatural beings. I have them listed below that you can choose from, or if you would like to suggest a different one let me know. Now please note that this isn't the 'title' that they're known by to each other, rather these are merely to suggest what role they play in relation to the humans. For example The Good One is to hint that this being is more inclined to help and protect the humans from the others.)

Bio/History: (Put something here please lol. This is your chance to be creative! Be sure that it's unique too and not just one or two words/lines long. I don't want the same sob story over and over again. Tell about what made you agree to stay in the house? What do you expect to find there? Do you believe the haunting rumors? Is your character a being who had already been there from the start? Did they participate in any of the tragic events? Are they more more benevolent or malevolent? These are just some of the questions you can answer in your bio. I'm also more than willing to assist. )

Appearance/Looks: (I like pictures, they're fun to look at, but if you can't find one then a description is fine just be sure to be detailed.)

Fears/Nightmares: (This is intended mainly for humans so if you're a supernatural don't worry too much about it, though do include something. I expect the fears and nightmares of humans to be more descriptive then the supernatural's. :D Oh and I don't want 'lame' ones such as: 'being laid off from work'. I want fears/nightmares that are enough to keep people up at night and are afraid to go to sleep in fear of the nightmare or fear itself. For an example you can see Nightmare's profile. :D Also let's try to avoid constant repeats, I want them unique and interesting please. :D)

Other: (Optional. Put anything else you want us to know about your character here like likes, dislikes, lover preference, and so on and so forth. Is there something that maybe didn't seem to fit anywhere else? Well then put it here. )

The Guests of Blood Widow Manor

Menewsha Name: Arechi

Name: Nightmare Julius Gottschalk (Whether or not his first name truly is Nightmare or not he will not say)

Nickname(s): Night, Mare, Patch, Jewels, Chalky, Night dreamer. (However he will only tolerate Night. Any of the others and he will ensure that the caller shall pay dearly.)

Age: Appears no older than 27 though in actuality is 324 (a young age for his particular kind)

Gender: Male

Race: Appears initially as human, though not all is what as it seems... (Really a nightmare demon)

Personality: Usually seen with a rather mischievous or 'innocent' smile on his face during most situations. Nightmare can be described as a 'sweetheart' at times and down right cruel, it mostly just depends on the situation. He appears rather knowledgeable about various different subjects, but seems more knowledgeable in some things then in others. When he's being mean or cruel he has a tendency to take it to the extreme. There are times when some will claim he has the look of a madman in his eyes which is usually followed by something horrifying happening to others soon after. Other times though he can be rather charming and can be a bit comical at times.

Psychic abilities/Powers: To create a person's worst nightmare into a 'reality'. In other words he takes what people fear in their dreams and turns them into a sort of 'personal illusion' that is so convincing it's as if it's reality. This of course usually causes his 'victims' to either lose their sanity completely or end their life to make the 'illusion' stop as they are not ones that can be 'seen through' or stopped unless he stops it himself or the victim dies. He can also 'pull' others into or out of other people's nightmares, though he rarely does this. He also has the ability to float, though it's usually only used when he enters people's nightmare's himself as he doesn't particularly enjoy walking.

Weakness: Despite his 'young' age is is a relatively sick nightmare demon, causing him to cough up blood in many instances such as if he's shook too roughly or if he uses his powers for an over extended amount of time on any one given person (usually a time limit of a half hour).

Supernatural role/title: The Unpredictable One

Bio/History: The truth behind Nightmare's past is only known by the demon in human guise himself or of the other supernatural beings, however that does not mean he hasn't established a form of 'cover-up' for a believable history.

Nightmare was allegedly born in the family of simple folk that was rumored to live beyond the vast woodlands of Blood Widow Manor, which was beyond the town's limits. He had learned to read, write and speak all through his parents and learning what was felt he needed to know through them until a certain age. He was then sent to another township for more formal schooling, where he discovered a love of learning facts of past buildings and landmarks, or more specifically Blood Widow Manor. It was this love that paved his path to the 'career' as a historian over the past and histories of the surrounding historical sites, though claiming that his knowledge was more tuned in on sites that weren't considered historically significant or places like the Manor. It was this that he had said that had helped him earn his living as he would use his knowledge of various places to visit some schools and teach about them as a guest speaker, usually for history classes. Although he dressed and still dresses in a manor that would establish him as a higher ranking citizen, he is really of a more lower class saying that he earns enough to live a satisfied life.

Appearance/Looks:

Fear(s)/Nightmare: Even though he is a nightmare demon himself, it doesn't mean he doesn't have things he is afraid of. His more prominent fear is being locked within the confinement of a small box or coffin, without any escape, and then thrown into an incinerator to be roasted alive while others hear his blood curdling screams of pain, and yet do nothing to help him but instead just stand by and watch him burn laughing all the while. This of course causes him to fear small, confined spaces and extreme heat. So a small closet with a heater vent in it while the heater turned on and the door locked with no escape, could be considered pure and utter Hell for him

Other: Nightmare claims that this was the reasoning that he knew perhaps anything about Blood Widow Manor and had been one of the things to earn him the right to be the 'guide' of the project. He had said the reason he had chosen to come from the neighboring township was due to the campaign idea of allowing a group to stay within the bloodied past Manor and that it was his thirst to learn more about it through a more hands on experience. When asked why his name is the unusual name of 'Nightmare' he simply responds that his parents had wanted to name him something 'unusual' and so had chosen Nightmare.

When asked about his patched eye he simply says that it was lost during an 'accident' and that the only thing beneath it is a glass one, which he offers to show to any that wishes to see, though very few desire to. In reality his right eye is perfectly fine and there, however it is what allows him to peer into the minds of others to use his powers.

On his left ear he also wears a small hooped earring in the cartilage.

A rather currently unknown but interesting fact about Nightmare is that if one searched records of the school he says he attended they will find that his name is not among its list of students. What's more the only time that the name Nightmare Julius Gottschalk appeared in any records of history was over 300 years ago...

Menewsha Name: Arechi

Name: Ayaka Ishtar

Nickname(s): Aya

Age: 12

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Personality: Aya is a rather curious girl, always trying to get to the bottom of things. Generally considered a sweetheart to most she meets she can be a little bit feisty. She doesn't like people looking down on her because of her age and small height, but at the same time she realizes she is not a full adult yet. It is because of that she will usually attach herself to certain people, looking at them as sort of a 'parent', 'guardian' or 'older sibling' of some sort and will generally cling to them in stressful and terrifying situations. With others she will shrink away from them if they try and touch her.

Psychic abilities/Powers: Even though she is young she possesses the powers of clairsentience (being able to touch certain objects or people and see certain events or feel lingering emotions on them. Due to her young age she can only feel the lingering emotions though.) and automatic writing (Produces writing that does not come from conscious thought).

Weakness: She possesses the same weaknesses as any human child her age. However when using her clairsentience powers, if an emotion is strong enough or terrifying to her it can cause her to breakdown and harm her mentally, for a period of time, and emotionally.

Supernatural 'Title: None

Bio/History: Aya was the product of an unwilling and forced participation of her mother to her father's desires, therefore an unwanted and unplanned for child. After her father had satisfied himself with her mother's body he had left her, though was discovered to have died some years later, leaving Aya with her mentally scarred mother to raise her. There relationship wasn't a pleasant one, as due to certain beliefs of her mother she couldn't simply kill the child or give her away from adoption, though Aya hung in there. Her mother, unable to actually pay for living necessities for the both of them, found that the only use her daughter seemed to have was when she was a bit older and seemed to have a kind of 'charm' about her with certain older men and women. She cruelly used this to her advantage to get money, even at the cost of her daughter's body and purity and is perhaps the reason why the young girl is the way she is around older men.

This lifestyle for Aya lasted only for a few years as eventually her mother had a full realization that she was forcing upon her daughter what had been forced upon her hit her, causing her to fall into a deep depression and hang herself. After that Aya was taken into the custody of Saint Maria's Orphanage within the town, where she was given a formal education and told to redeem herself from the sins she had committed, despite her being forced, she needed to learn to love others with an open and pure heart despite her past.

It was during her teachings of rights and wrongs of the world where she learned about things of the occult, and this seemed to catch her interest as well as led her to the discovery of her powers. It was not too long after she told the head Sister of the orphanage about her powers that the 'project' of Blood Widow Manor had formed. At the encouragement of the Sister to see if she could learn to put her powers in the use of helping others she signed up to be apart of the groups.

Appearance/Looks:

Fears/Nightmares: Aya has a high and almost unnatural fear of those that seem cruel and them trying to 'break' her, despite her teachings of loving everyone with an open heart. She also has a high fear of lightning or anything that can be related to electrical injury. There is one particular nightmare that still occurs every so often that terrifies her to no end. She's bound and blindfolded to a wall in a room full of older men and women with 'questionable' intentions. When one removes the blindfold she sees one holding a whip that seems to be emitting electricity. He then raises it above their head and lets it come down upon her, sending a powerful electric shock through her body causing her to cry out in pain and for help. At her cries though the people in the room merely laugh as she's whipped repeatedly. She is then subjected to other torture devices, needles, pins, knives, rusted nails, ect....(and all having lightning or something electrical to them) until finally her mind caves and she feels nothing though is still alive.

Other: Although Aya can be mature for her age she is still a child and so will do childlike behaviors at times. It's not uncommon for her to latch onto a shirt sleeve or shirt and follow the person around like a chick to a mother hen. Around her neck she wears a pendant that she believes wards off evil spirits, although it really doesn't have any sort of magical abilities like that she merely likes to think it does. She is a mixture of Japanese and American (her mother being Japanese and her father coming from Texas). At times an accent comes through in her words, although it sounds like a mixture of southern and Japanese combined though it's not too common.

*I'd like to note that this character's intro shall come after a few people have posted their own, not with Nightmare's. :D

Aurora didn't really mind being brought up in a University because at least she was around people that wanted to know about her, learn about her.

She can act like your best friend and wouldn't tell a secret if she was told not to. Just don't ever expect her to tell you something she doesn't want anyone to know. Even as a younger demon she never trusted anyone. Other than not trusting others she is helpful and smart. By being 'smart' she can get almost anyone to do anything for her.*

Powers: She can see into the future. While drawing or writing she let's her mind wander and will write or draw something that ends up happened without the next few days. Otherwise she has some minor normal demon abilities.*

Weakness:After drawing or writing she seems to grow dizzy and feel faint. Depending on the length of time she is drawing or writing she may pass out.

Supernatural 'Title': The Good One

Bio/history: She was never one to be out making friends. Instead she stayed home most of the time and drew pictures, or wrote stories. Creativity always came naturally to her. Behind the artistic appearance was a mind of logic. In her past she figured out her own demonic abilities by testing out different methods of planning. Other times she used logic to figure out what pictures meant. Up until about one-hundred years ago she didn't know how to use her ability or how to get others to believe it was true. Now she uses it to help others. Even humans.

Appearance:

Fears/nightmares: Having one of her more dangerous drawings come to life without being able to do anything about.*

Other: Anywhere she goes she has to have paper and a pencil near-by. She seems to always carry a pencil in her back pocket and a small folded up piece of paper.

Menewsha Name: Broadway_princessxo34

Name: Claudia {*cough} Meaning disabled {*cough*}
{Other for the name, she wasn’t named for being disabled when she was born. Her parents just liked the name. She was perfectly normal as a baby.}

Nickname(s): Claude

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Race: Plain old human

Personality: Fake happy and upbeat, mostly for others sake. She isn’t really happy, she can’t be happy every moment left of her life is misery without her brother or her parents. They were everything

Psychic abilities/Powers: Absolutely positively nothing. {Unless being prone to getting hurt is considered a psychic ability.}

Weakness: Human weakness and she can’t walk for a long time or do any type of physical activity. Her immune system is also very low, and she takes many medications for it. She isn’t healthy.

Bio/History: Claudia was born as the younger twin by less than ten minutes. But her brother died in the accident a few years back, so did both of her parents and her older sister. She was very happy when she was younger but ever since that dreaded day she’s forcing herself to seem happy as her spirits drop lower and lower. Her aunt was taking care of her, but complained that she took up to much space in the house. The aunt also was unhappy because she had to pay for all the medical expenses. Claude was shipped off to this house with promises for all her medical needs to be covered while she was there.

Appearance/Looks:
Faint scars can be seen on almost all of her body, from burn wounds during the accident.

Fears/Nightmares: Her greatest fear is living in a state of mind where she hallucinates and sees her family around her all the time, causing her to fall into an even deeper depression, another is death. Nickname(s): Rosie, “Maria”

Age: 15 {200}

Gender: female {though many think she is a young boy.}

Race: succubus

Personality: In her playful blonde form {that she uses mostly in the day} she is a bubbly little girl full of energy. She’s adventurous and silly while tagging along with her partner Ash. Rosie is a crazy blonde girl who seems entirely care free and innocent.
In her blue haired icy form she is a seductress to a t. She is dying to get with whom she can. Also she portray a small bit of innocence when trying to seduce someone. Maria is a gorgeous female who knows just how to get her victims hearts racing.

Psychic abilities/Powers: seduction, and soul stealing {generally she looms around her victims for quite awhile until she is done with teasing them and takes their soul from their bodies from their lips}

Weakness: her weakness is sleep. Generally people assume that succubae do not sleep, when in truth that is when they are their most vulnerable. Demons who can penetrate the demon’s mind in their sleep can easily manipulate them into terrors. Though love is the more powerful weakness.

Supernatural 'Title: The Malicious One

Bio/History: Rosemaria was born out of her mother succubus falling into love with a person. Instead of actually letting herself into love she raped the man in his sleep then gave birth to his child. After raising her to the age of fifteen {which is how she got her young blonde form} her mother taught her the ways of the demons. Then she began to roam the Earth doing as she pleased. Around five years ago she happened into Ashwin. Her and him became rather good friend’s at first then she decided… he would be a much better friend than a target. Thus she has let him live and traveled with him.
Upon hearing of this manner she was rather interested. Of course what demon would not be. She addressed the idea to Ash to venture to the house. Not only interested in the money, but what fun she could have here she was thrilled to come here.

Appearance/Looks: Rosie

Fears/Nightmares: Only her sleep.

Other: She has a huge sweet tooth which in her girlie form is at times unmanageable.

Menewsha Name: Dear Lelie

Name: Ashwin De’Marcus Le’Meu
Nickname(s): Ash

Age: Twenty-six

Gender: Male

Race: human

Personality: A quiet sensitive human being. Ash isn’t one to judge or be too hasty in making someone out to be the bad guy {thus why his best friend is a soul sucking demon}. Ashwin is a handsome and charming young man. He also is very hardworking, and tries his best to do anything that anyone could ever ask for him. The dark haired male at times is very mysterious and alluring though he isn’t the best sweet talker. He gets rather nervous around most females besides Rosie of course.

Psychic abilities/Powers: zip

Weakness: - normal human weakness.

Supernatural 'Title:

Bio/History: Ashwin was born into a family of thrill seekers. Perhaps that is why he was easy to tag-a-long with a fifteen year old girl out of the blue. But that is besides the point. This young man grew up in a family of five with a mother and father who took them everywhere. At the age of 18 he decided to move in with his uncle and attend college. After receiving a degree in environmental engineering he started travelling the world to try and make it much better, though at the age of 22 he seemed to have met a strange fifteen year old girl.
He found her rather interesting and always seems to end up following her into trouble then he gets them out of trouble. It seems silly, but it is awfully fun for him to do. He’s never bored and always searching for adventure. At first when he heard about this creepy house he was afraid, but Rosie convinced him it would be fun.

Appearance/Looks:

Fears/Nightmares: He is really afraid of messing up talking with girls. Also he is terrified of spiders.

Other: He really dislikes sweets, but deals with them since Rosie loves them. Ash really loves music thus he carries a mandolin around and plays it sporadically.

Nickname(s): Phin

Age: 200

Gender: Male

Race: Fallen Angel

Personality: Phin is often lost in his own thoughts and wears a curious expression on his face. He is very clumsy and is constantly running into things (but says sorry when he does). On the other hand, if one has his attention he is very serious and aggressive. When provoked, or when he feels threatened, he becomes vicious and bloodthirsty – near demonic.

Psychic abilities/Powers: Before he fell, Phin was a celestial lightning warrior; now however, he cannot call upon the element itself. His body on the other hand holds a powerful electric charge that he can use to shock and stun living things. He can control electrical currents and often flickers lights on and off to amuse himself.

Weakness: Phin detests rain and being drenched; it causes his to short out (if you will) and temporarily lose control of his charge. (He bathes with certain oils to clean himself.)

Supernatural 'Title: The one to look out for…

Bio/History: Phin doesn’t remember his birth nor does he remember most of his childhood. What he remembers is lights flashing against a blackened sky and the hunger to learn how to wield such power. Since his memories began he can only think of training and studying and practice. Every day and every night he would cast the bolts into the sky wait for the boom of thunder and fling another bolt. His teachers said he was the youngest lightning warrior – as that is what they called themselves – this had ever been. But it was his level of skill that corrupted him, and his ever growing hunger for more power. There are many different stories about how he fell, but this is the most common one: “They say he tried to ride the lightning, something so foolish no lightning warrior had ever done – or wished to do – before. It would have worked for his if only he was more skilled. It is said that it is possible, but dangerous. If you lose your concentration for a fraction of a fraction of a second, you’ll let go and fall to the cold hard ground below. And once you fall, you never come back.”

After wandering the earth for what seemed like centuries – but was really only a few decades – Phin became bored with his life. He began to study the ways of humans. Everything about them interested his, but nothing more than their interest in the supernatural. He of course looked up how humans preserved his, and while he was not happy at some of the entries he was satisfied about how they had portrayed his kind. He did note that they were often confused with valkyries – yes, the female valkyries – because of his lightning abilities. One day while he was reading a paper, he saw an article that caught his interest…”Government buys Blood Widow Manor”. The more he read, the more determined he became to investigate the Manor. Because when one is bored, what better is there to do?

Appearance/Looks:

Phin is quite tall, standing at 6 foot five however he tends to slouch so he appears shorter. While he is slender, he is not weak, he is toned and muscular. His hair used to be long – down to the middle of his back – but riding the lightning burnt most of it off. Not seeing the need to keep it long, Phin kept his hair short.
Fears/Nightmares: Because of Phin lightning background, he is terrified of drowning and anything that has to do with being exposed to water for long periods of time. He is also afraid of being buried alive.

Other: Phin has a tattoo of a lightning bolt down his back that falls between his wings. It was once a bright white, but has since become black with tints of purple in it.

Masy: The cruel
trickster
Meka: The kind one

Bio/History: Meka and Masy were the closest of sisters and loved by almost everyone in their family... except for their mother. The two were
inseparable and went everywhere with each other... until Masy got a boyfriend. Meka was upset though never said anything to her sister sense she could see she was happy which she rarely was. Meka and Masy were twins obviously and seemed to have this connection to each other that seemed to make them alert to one another's feelings and if one of them was in pain the other could tell. Well one night Masy didn't come home and Meka started to worry so she went out to find her sister. She checked all the places they normally went then she finally went to Masy's boyfriends house. When she was invited in she was met with the most horrifying thing she had ever seen. There against the wall was her sister bloodied up though she knew she wasn't dead. When Meka tried to get her sisters boyfriend away from her bleeding twin the man grabbed her overpowering her and tied her back to back with her sister. The last horrifying thing the two can remember was a single blade going through both of their chests and the final words that were spoken to them: You have such a loving mother don't you?.

Appearance/Looks:

Fears/Nightmares: Their one true fear and nightmare if that somehow they will be subject to the same fate, the same death, though without
each other. The nightmare would be something like this: Darkness surrounds them, no other sounds but the evil cackle of their mother, the sound of liquid hitting the stone floor under them, their heads drooping, bodies limp and tied to each other... then... apart. Separation forever a life without each other would be their living hell. They dread the cold metallic spike and twist of the single double sided blade through their chests that they can feel in unison from time to time. An eternity without each other.

The Beginning...

The air was cool and crisp, though not overly so as to outdo the warmth emitted by the afternoon sun. Nightmare casually awaited in front of the gleaming metal entrance gate for the groups that were to arrive before dusk. A heavy old fashion skeleton key was wrapped securely in a pale peach colored hand and would be used to unlock the gate he stood in front of. The mayor had given it to him specifically as it had been the original key and could probably open any of the rooms within and outside of the manor. Around his waist and connected to a small metal linked chain by a silver metal hoop, was a generous amount of copy keys that were to be given to each member. They too could open any door within the manor...almost...There was one door that led to the attic that the duplicates could not access and that the only way to enter it was to use the key currently clutched in his hand. The copies also did not unlock the gate itself, but if someone wished to leave before the weeks were up, then Nightmare would gladly oblige and open the gate.

The male's mind soon began to wander slightly as he tilted his head upward towards the clear blue sky and closed his gray eyes. A playful wind blew through tossing and playing a few strands of his shining silver hair, although it was not powerful enough to make it messy in the least. “This is going...to be interesting...” came the soft yet slightly deep voice of the male.

The mayor had assured him that he would inform the groups that were coming that he would be there awaiting and his role during the whole project. The 'human' male was interested to find that of those coming there were some with paranormal abilities and that the individuals varied in ages. He wasn't too surprised that both young and old were interested in staying in the believed to be 'haunted' mansion. He figured most were simply thrill seekers looking for a good scare, or non-believers that were determined to prove that the mayor's words of the haunting being nothing more but fairy tales true. Then again he knew that there were perhaps some that were superstitious enough to want to try and 'ward away the evil'. But whatever their reasoning: be it the chase, the thrill or the proof for logic, they would all be under the roof of perhaps the home with the bloodiest past in the area for a couple of weeks.

The view from the window was perfect to watch the humans as they arrived, yet she did not trust Nightmare to be the nicest and most welcoming person all the time. Onna stood and brushed her short black leather skirt off before walking downstairs and out into the yard where she soon was standing next to the man. "Hello Nighty!" Omma grinned looking up to him. Onna was short for Ameonna, which was originally a female goddess in old Japanese folklores. That was mainly human belief though.

She stood at about five foot seven inches and weighed less than even the slimmest models. She appeared to be delicate and breakable, but she is as strong as anyone. If special abilities were not used in fights with other demons she could easily out wit and outfight any of her race.

"When will the humans arrive." She asked looking down the street then back up to Nightmare. He was probably her only hope for keeping the poor humans alive in this house. Some of the others were going to be a bit of a handful. Onna was a bit worried on the things they could possibly do to the weak frail little humans.

Aurora sighed as she walked from the mayor's office, out to the very streets. She had to keep herself focused on getting to this manor before she finds herself fascinated with the plants growing around the local area. Aurora wore her cloak to keep herself warm, though she may look strange to those around her; at least she was comfortable with herself.

She use to always think, that everyone else was far to quick to judge. Basically she was correct on those terms, she knew sometimes- exactly what people had thought about her, but in respect; she was still kind. Though Aurora had never gotten out much, she still shown a certain individuality that made her unique to any other mentalist the University she was held with had known.

Aurora finally could see this majestic building that sat solemnly with its beauteous green acres and garden. She continued with a steady pace, and reached the graveled road. She stared at it for a moment, was stepping forth a good idea? She hesitated, and looked up, trying to see as far as she could to the iron gates.

Aurora pulled her hood down and gazed out to try and figure if it was her imagination playing tricks on her; that she was seeing someone, or if there actually WAS someone standing there- probably thinking she's a fool for not approaching. Aura felt a chill breeze and turned her back to the manor 'I'll wait before going up there.. I fear going up there alone would be..' She shook her head, and agreed to herself that she would wait for whom ever else was joining on this 'Ghost Hunt'

Phin hugged his jacket against the cool breeze. Man, why does it have to be so cool here? He thought as he shivered. His gaze lifted from the ground to the manor in front of him, or rather what he could see of the manor from the road. "I should go and barge through those gates like I own the place. Yeah! That would make a great impression. No... it would make a stupid impression." He mumbled to himself. As he flexed his hands a small electric pulse ran over his fingers. He smiled then looked down the road ahead of him. He perked up upon seeing another form - a woman who appeared to be watching the gates.

I bet she's here for the challenge too. He thought as he made his way towards her. He heard the rustling noise of leaves and turned his attention towards it but kept walking forward. Under a tree there was a squirrel running around. Phin smiled, laughed then tripped and landed face first about 15 feet away from the woman in the cloak he had been walking towards. Yep. Great first impression.

Aurora felt a pulse in the Earth, and looked over to see some man that had tripped. She walked over to him and lent her hand "The trees like to play tricks sometimes, and rise their roots to trip us. Heh heh, are you OK?" Aura said in a sweet calm voice. She smiled as she realized now she wasn't alone at least. Then again, Aurora honestly felt a negative energy from the manor, and she hadn't even taken a step on its paved road. She had this growing fear that within this house it could sense it's guests, and read them; to use their own weakness against them, or worse- turn those that are your allies to enemies..

Aura wore silk gloves so that she wouldn't read anyone from physical contact; she lightly brushed off Phin's shoulders to clean the dirt off of him. "My name is Aurora, Aura for short" She said kindly "I'm a mentalist, I'm here to investigate this Manor. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that arrived quite early.." Aurora paused for a moment and then tensed her shoulders as a cold breeze rolled in. "Anyway, who might you be?" She asked curiously, grasping his hand to help him up.

"Ah, eh, um..." Phin stuttered as he straighted his so he was standing comfortably. He puffed out his chest and said, "My name is Phin, well not really. It's Seraphin, but that is such an old name. I am here for the Bloody House... no... I'm here." He nodded a few times then looked back to where the squirrel had been then back at Aura. "Hi. Sorry, I'm a little jittery now." He cleared his throat, stood straight and in a more serious tone added, "You said you name is Aurora, but you like being called Aura. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. Will I have the honor of your presence during this adventure? Oh, and thank for helping stand." He nodded again. His eyes flashed, as they often do, and became a light golden color. He took Aura hand and raised it to his lips and kissed it before returning it to her side. "What, may I ask are you doing so far from our destination?"

Aura bowed her head in respect to the greeting, and then spoke "Your very welcome, Phin. And indeed I shall be in your presence for the time being" Her attention returned back to the iron gates, and then back to Phin "I've just arrived on foot.. Though I'm not complaining, I'd rather walk then use a vehicle.. I am quite a long way from home, I mean- The P.I. is at Brahms; about a few hour walk from there.."

Aurora realized, that maybe Phin hadn't known what she was talking about "The P.I. Its the Paranormal Institute, it's literally where I was raised since I was a teen.." Aura frowned lightly and then gazed back at the manor "But you would like to know, why I'm here.. And I hadn't given much of an answer.."

Shaking her head, Aura looked at Phin and shrugged her shoulders with a warm smile "I suppose, it's to find answers" She paused, and then crossed her arms, turning toward the place "So many things, have happened here; and it seems to all connect, I suppose the only question is 'why?' and that's what I want to seek."

Nightmare's attention was immediately drawn from his thoughts and towards the female that had 'snuck up' beside him. At the nickname that was 'given' to him he couldn't help but cringe. The name 'Nighty' just sounded far too warm and protective, which he could be at times, however not always. "How many times must I tell you not to call me something so...warm and fuzzy sounding?" he said as a sigh escaped him. He knew that his words wouldn't probably be fully listened too, after all he had given such warning a few times, and knew that only actions would perhaps be the only clear voice. At the moment however that was not an option.

"Shhh not so loud with calling them humans. Remember if they hear something like that they make think we're not human, and quite possibly be scared off before any 'fun' can be played...However to answer your question it appears that some have already arrived, although they appear...reluctant to approach perhaps?" the silver haired man replied as his gaze drifted down the entrance path, though a smirk played on his face at the word fun. His gaze came to land on two figures, one that appear to be male and the other female, however from the distance he could tell nothing more detailed.

A dark haired male stood on the edge of town staring out towards where the mansion stood. A breeze teasing his long dark hair as he continued to stare. He blue-gray eyes looked across the deserted walk to the house. [color=cadetblue]Am I really going to do this? he thought to himself before a small figure landed on his shoulders. The small figure let out a giggle as her legs swung. He wrapped his arms around the child's legs holding her to him. "Rosie," he scolded as he tried to contain her."You could seriously hurt yourself... or me," he whined quietly. Looking at the two of them you would think it was a father and daughter. Being that the male looked rather old and the other awfully young. Flipping off of his shoulders the short haired blonde landed on the ground and crossed her arms. Honestly before the male said Rosie, no one would have a clue that the person was a girl. Her short blonde hair and large blue shirt made sure to conceal any indication that she was a girl. Crossing her arms she stamped her boot down. Though it wasn't very threatening. Little Rosie came up to around the male's mid section no taller. She had to be about 5'0ft and he more around 6'0ft."Ashwin De’Marcus Le’Meu!" she shouted using his full name. Of course Rosie knew that he hated it, but of course his hatred only made her smile. Grinning she dashed off towards the building. Being the little minx that she was she knew... this was going to be a lot of fun.
Ash shook his head and jogged softly after her. His black boots patted on the ground as he followed her. The male had been slightly against taking the Mayor's offer being that it sounded slightly out of his limits, but still they went. When he reached the gates he saw two others there as well. Ashwin offered a friendly wave as a gust of wind blew at his hair and coat. Rosie decided it was time to speak up. A playful grin on her face at the sight of the two others. "Not to intrude on your conversation, but are you here for the Mayor's offer as well?" the short blonde questioned as Ashwin came up behind her.

Further down the path that leads to Blood Widow Manor the figure of a priestly woman with long blond hair and donning simple red and white priestess cloths walked with the hand of a child clutched in one of her own. The child was clearly not much younger as she appeared not quite as a toddler but also not a full blown teenager. She walked side by side with the much older and taller woman, with the hand not clutching tightly to the older woman, positioned up to her mouth in a childlike fashion. The sleeves of her kimono would probably cover her hands were they not elevated. The golden eyes of the child gazed wearily, though with a small and somewhat clear glint of curiosity, at the sight of the manor. “Sister Caterina...are you sure...this is really a good idea?...I mean I won't know anyone there...and it appears so big, what if I were to get lost?” came the sound of a small and fair sounding voice.

The older woman glanced down at the younger with a kind and reassuring smile. “Do not fret Aya. Consider this the start of your pilgrimage to the discovery of your true calling in life. Here perhaps you can do some good with your powers and possibly put restless souls to the path of God so that they may pass on” came the more confident and reassuring tone of the older female. She could still see the look of worry playing across the youngster's face. “And remember I shall come and check on you every day. You can also take this chance to befriend a few more people too outside of the Orphanage. Who knows maybe there'll also be someone there your age you can stick to and play with” she said with another attempt to soothe the young girl's worry.

At that the Aya's gaze drifted to the ground. “Alright Sister Caterina...” she said still sounding a bit unsure of it all, but nevertheless tried to double her resolve to indeed partake in the project of Blood Widow Manor, if not for her own sake and development of her powers, then for the sake of the Sister she currently clung to. Looking a bit forward her golden eyes came to rest on two groups of people, the first appearing to be a man and a woman a bit ways away from the manor gate and closer to her and the Sister, while the other group appear to consist of two men and two more women. Judging from the info she and Sister Caterina had received one of the three males were supposedly to be their 'guide' for the next couple of weeks, though for her which one was a mystery.

At the first group of two Sister Caterina stopped, smiling pleasantly as her gaze came to rest on the two individuals. “Hello, I don't suppose that you two are here to stay at Blood Widow Manor are you?” she asked gently as she felt her arm, that had held the clutching small child's hand, move slightly back. Glancing down she noticed the young girl had moved back in an almost shy manner. “Come now Ayaka these people shall not harm you child. Be polite and give them greetings” the priestess slightly scolded though with a still rather warm tone.

Obediently the young girl nodded her head in greeting as a small 'Hello' escaped passed her lips. Her golden eyes seemed to almost study the two, as if deciding on whether or not to relinquish her created safe haven slightly hidden behind the Sister.

"But sometimes you are warm and fuzzy!" She giggled softly glancing down the road at the humans. "They can't here me. I won't say it when they're around. That would be just plain old rude!" Onna smiled slightly glancing back at him. "By 'Fun' I hope you'll warn me so I can keep the poor humans from dying. Not that I won't already know. But, you could be nice and help me out a bit."

Onna Crossed her arms and leaned back against the gate and watched the interesting ways of a new young human who had appeared by the group. "Ahh, she's a bit young. Don't you think." The 'she' Onna was talking about happened to be the little girl hiding behind the nun. "Why in the world would you send a child to a possibly haunted house?!"

Silently she watched again not bothering to make any more comments on the group. Nightmare might repeat some of her more private thoughts she had within her mind, so she decided it was best not to say anything. "Before they come, can they read minds?" If they could Ameonna would be sure to sheild her mind from them. Not that it'd be hard, they were only human afterall.

Nightmare once more could not hold back a grimace at her words. "I can assure you I'm far from warm and fuzzy" he replied quietly as his visible gray eye twitched. After all it was not the place of a nightmare demon to be warm and fuzzy, especially when their powers were project a person into their worst personal nightmare. "You mean such as in front of the two that are approaching us now?" he said as his gaze first glanced on the blond upcoming female and what appeared to be her dark haired companion. Before they arrived within earshot however, the silver haired 'human''s gaze shifted sideways to Onna. "Oh perhaps and perhaps not. After all who's to say I won't partake in a little 'fun' myself? After all I haven't got to 'play' with a full audience for a long time" he said with a sly grin spreading across his face.

His gaze then drifted out to the young child that began to arrive as Onna spoke on her age. "Well perhaps it's an attempt at trying to show this house not to be 'haunted' as planned by the Mayor of this wretched little town" he said with an almost charming smile. Either way though he personally thought that this addition would merely make things a little more fun. At the woman's next question he shrugged. "I've been told that there may be a few. I don't exactly have their complete files on hand, but I would suspect that there was a good possibility. After all from what I've gathered from the Mayor there appears to be a fair part of the group that seem to have some sort of abnormal psychic abilities" he said gently with another shrug.

His attention then shifted slightly as the two seemingly humans arrived at the gate. "Why yes we are. My name is Nightmare and I will apparently be your 'guide' for your stay here" he replied as his 'innocent' seeming smile shifted to a smile that portrayed warmth and general kindness as well as greeting.

"Great...and leave the poor little girl alone! It's not fair that you won't be nice to the others and that little girl is going to die way before you'd finish her. I'm warning you Night, I swear I will kill you before I see anything happen to that innocent little girl!" Onna quickly whisked up and closed her thoughts from others. "Hello, I'm Onna, or Ameonna, whichever you prefer. I'll be here to keep Nightmare in line." She smiled at the human and glanced up at Night noticing his 'warm and fuzzy act.'

Her eyes moved to glance around and see who else was coming closer to the house. They were all in for a living hell with all the demons here. Onna bit back a sigh and fixed her hat so it didn't fall down over her eyes. The smile had not left her lips, but her thoughts were already elsewhere. Away from the house, even away from being a demon. It seemed to be of nothing really. At least not to anyone else. To Onna it was the creativity of her mind at work. Although she had nothing to draw with so what was happening wouldn't ever be recorded.

Aurora turned to the others that had arrived and bowed her head lightly "Hello" she replied and then realized that it was actually quite a few people that had arrived "I- I'm not here for the mayor's offer, more like; Knowledge." She nodded and smiled, as she examined the other guests, she reached for her necklace and grasped it so the priestly woman wouldn't see it.

"I am Aurora Deloncre, from P.I." She said as she held out her other hand to greet the others, she felt a sensation of someone watching. "Are you all, prepared to get the investigation going?" Aura asked curiously as she tilted her head. She was quite curious now, about this Manor.

Rosie's eyes seemed to gleam at the thought of investigating. She hope there was someone fun for her to play with in the house... or even that she would get to play with these people. If this house actually wasn't haunted it sure was about to be. Lightly the thin blonde held out her hand. I am Rosemaria Alenedria Frances, or Rosie. It's a pleasure to meet you. And this chum behind me is Ashwin De’Marcus Le’Meu, my sidekick," she lightly introduced them. Ash shook his head and ran a hand threw his dark hair. "Pleasure," he said quietly nodding to Aurora. Then his eyes shifted to the two new characters at the gate. Oh, Ashwin sure knew that he would be in for quite the treat. He had an odd feeling about the place, but what could he do? He was here now, and here he would stay.
Rosemaria looked to the gate where she saw the two standing. Now being a demon herself she could somewhat tell that there was something fishy about these two. Not that she could put her finger on it at all. But Nightmare's name already scared her. The young succubus's one weakness, sleep. Anything words relating to the concept always scared her, terrified almost. That was why she barely slept as it was.

(YAY >w< FINALLY GOT IT ALL READ! YYYYYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY XD X3 )

The house seemed quiet... it almost always was. Most of the rooms were empty of all inhabitance beyond the creepy crawlies and occasional vermin... though now only the spirits pass the floors for the most part since the remodeling. Everything had changed just a bit... repainting... a few remodelments in the rooms... actual human heartbeats passing through... yes... things had changed. A slender figure sat in each of the two large widows opposite each other and if one from the outside were to pear up they may think someone was there in the first glance then look again to see nothing, that was the mischief makers favorite trick to play on the simpleton humans that they saw as vermin half the time now. They peered down at the gardens, the gates, the fountain, all of which they had been accustomed to after they had been rooted up from the comfort of their lovely fields. "Look sissy we have guests!" The sort blonde-red haired girl squealed and her sister scowled. "They're trying to sell this place out as an attraction!" The longer red haired girl hissed to her sister then they frowned in unison at each other. "I think it's about time I get some new playthings though anyway... you know it's actually quite fun to screw with those simpletons... ow that's right you're too goody goody to play around aren't you?" the girl smirked and the lighter haired girl pouted. "SHUT UP MASY!" Meka squealed and her sister started laughing. "Fine! I'm going down to see about Mister Nightmare and our... subjects." Masy smirked and started to leave the room though her sister soon scrambled after her not liking to be left alone even after 200 years.

The two were soon outside in the gardon though it seemed only Meka was enjoying the lovely flowers... Masy truly didn't care anymore. "Don't sniff them too long... you know what happened to that one girls face." Masy grinned to her sister who immediately flinched away from the rose. "NO! THAT WAS BECAUSE OF YOU!!! You know you don't always have to be so mean all the time." Meka whined and her sister grinned evilly. "I got tired of being miss goody goody two shoes about a hundred and... wait... no it was about two hundred years ago." Masy chuckled and her sister scowled "That was only a... ow... THAT'S NOT NICE!!!" Meka whined again and her sister laughed as they walked ahead soon coming to the gates... though from the side so no one except Nightmare and Ameonna could see them. There they leaned invisably against the gate... well Masy did Meka looked at the patch of bright red roses that were close to them standing off to the side of her sister though away from the gate some. "Hello Night... Onna... how's it goin so far?... the fun hasn't started without us yet has it?" Masy smirked though was only speaking so anyone past the two that she was speaking to would only hear maybe a soft whisper alleged of all words...

Aurora nodded and bowed to both of those that had introduced themselves. She turned her attention to Finx and gave her a warm smile "I understand, I would probably be doing the same thing as well." She frowned lightly thinking back to the days she had to be locked up in isolation, it sort of made her think the same for this young girl..

"Before I lived in the institute, I was a mental patient; because of my abilities.. So I'd go days without bathing as well, and didn't trust the food because it could've been drugged.. I'm grateful for where I am now, and trust me; good will come to you as well" Aura smiled as she looked over to the others, this was obviously going to be difficult to get along with some of them..

She shook away her thoughts and took one step onto the pavement, her eyes closed as she seen what looked like the building as it was being constructed. She watched as men would fight on the rosters and throw each other off, or just so willingly jump themselves.. Aurora opened her eyes and gulped "I can already tell, this is NOT going to be an easy investigation.." She whispered as she raised her hood over to head.

(Lol woot, congrats Sinsue. :D ...Alright anymore numbers/letters feel that they must randomly appear at the end of my sentences?)

Sister Caterina couldn't help but smile at Aurora's actions of hiding what appeared to be a necklace at the sight of her. "My name is Caterina, or Sister Caterina. And it is alright child, do not fret about this old lady saying anything to you about what you wear or believe. After all everyone has a right, and it is no one's place to judge or try to change people" she said with a warm and graciously reassuring smile. After all that was one of the many lessons that she taught the children at the Orphanage, to accept all as they are and love them regardless, and it wouldn't be right of her to not practice what she 'preached' as they say. Gently she then pulled at the young child who still seemed to cling to her hand and hide from the others slightly.

At the gentle pull Aya had no real choice to free herself from her safe haven. "My name...is Ayaka Ishtar...it is very nice to meet you all" she said in a somewhat shy but gentle manner. Her golden eyes scanned curiously over the group that was starting to introduce themselves, though came to rest on the one that introduced herself as Onna. She seemed to feel...nice...and warming, while the man introduced as Nightmare seemed to have a mixed feeling of warm yet ominous, causing her to shrink back a bit more.

Sister Caterina smiled at everyone in a pleasant and greeting manner, awaiting for all to introduce themselves, and only after the introductions had been had did she choose to speak again. "It is indeed a pleasure to meet you all. I'm afraid though I won't be joining on your investigating, I've only come to bring Aya here" she said again with a smile however internally she did worry about just leaving the young child with a group of strangers. She knew though that she couldn't very well just stay here either, after all she had to run the Orphanage and with a slight epidemic of the flu going around the children there, she knew she really couldn't be away for too long.

Calmly she bent her knees and went down to Aya's eye level. "Now I trust that you shall be a good girl. And remember, God will always be looking after you no matter the situation...I shall be back to check on you in the morning as well so try not to worry alright?" she said reassuringly to the young girl as she reached out and embraced the child. Something in her mind told her that she should not leave the child, but again she knew that at the moment she had no choice. Besides if it was too traumatic for her, she could always bring the child out of the manor in the morning. After the embrace the priestly woman stood and turned, releasing her hand from Aya's. As she walked away she turned back slightly waving goodbye and smiling, assuring again she would be back in the morning to check on Aya and everyone in case they needed anything, before continuing on her way.

Aya stood staring after Sister Caterina before her form disappeared from sight. Once the Sister was out of her sight her golden eyes once more roamed over the group. She immediately determined that despite the mixed feeling of warmth, Nightmare was a bit too scary to be near while the others didn't seem to trigger off any mental alarms. Slowly though she moved so that she would be closest to Onna, and surprisingly Aurora as well without being too terribly close. After all she understood that she was a child and that there were those that didn't exactly 'like' children.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nightmare was a bit amused by the threat Onna had issued at him before the group of humans arrived. 'We'll see...' he thought to himself with a mental chuckle, although still payed attention to the introductions. At Onna's he couldn't help but put on a playful frown. "Awww Onna you make me sound like some kind of pervert...however it's a pleasure to meet you all" he said feigning hurt in his tone, although again it was clearly in play as he shook any outstretched hands in greeting. The whisperings of the twins soon reached his ears, although there wasn't really a good way for him to respond without seeming a bit...strange. Then again he was sure that he wasn't in the most 'normal' of groups at the moment either. "Well everything appears to be fine, although I think there may be more to the group coming. However I'm sure they wouldn't mind too much if we did get things underway..." he said, both replying to the twins question while seemingly just talking to the group.

"Before we do get underway though I'm to give you each one of these" he said pulling up on the chain that contained the ring of keys. Calmly and with a smile he released the keys and began passing them out to the group. "Now these will grant you access to any room in the house, except for one, the attic. These are all duplicates of the original key, that I have in my possession, and so they also do not unlock these gates behind me. If however you feel the need at any point to leave, just merely inform me and I shall let you out" he said tilting his head slightly to the side and again giving the group a smile.

"No not like a pervert, just like an immature little boy." 'Who will be one of the worst nightmares these people have ever seen' Onna didn't dare to say that outloud, though. Nightmare would probably just laugh and she didn't feel like hung the others wonder what she was talking about. "It is great to meet you all, I do hope you enjoy your stay here." She also kept her mind blocked, every thing she thought could not be heard by anyone other than a fellow demon. If a human tried to enter her mind they would think it was just a deep black empty hole.

Glancing to her side she smiled at Masy and Meka. Ameonna had always liked Meka better that Masy, but Onna and Meka were both kind to everyone, even the humans. She sighed sofly relizing Meka and her were going to have to work really hard. Masy wouldn't help and she doubted that Nightmare would. Well he might, she'd have to work on getting him to not torture the whole place. Which could be hard.

Masy grinned darkly and Meka shivered some at her sisters twisted thoughts... Though only she could hear them since her sister was very seacritive to others. "We shall be waiting to... Great our guests at the door then." Masy said again to the two she had been speaking to before her and her sister went to phase through the door. Once inside they looked around a bit and went to sit on the top of the railing on eather side so once the guests were in they would right away see tge two sisters. "MASY!!!" Meka moaned and Masy grinned and chuckled some a bit darkly. "Yes my lovely sister." she giggled darkly and her sister put her hand on herface shaking her head some. "NO KILLING!" she groaned and her sisters grin grew into a dark smile. "Ah come on you and Onna aren't gonna let me and Night have any fun are you." she frowned playfully and her sister whimpered some in responce shaking her head slowly her palm still to her face. "Sometimes... I wonder if we're really twins." she moaned and again that made her sisters smile grow just a bit more and she giggled darkly.

Rosie rocked back and forth on her toes. When the little girl was introduced she waved lightly. It was sad to think that in her human form she was barely taller than the little girl. The blonde decided that the other little girl would be her friend since they were "close" in age. Though of course she still had Ash. Lightly she stepped over by Ayaka and leaned close to whisper to her. "It's okay if you are afraid. I am too," the girl whispered and lightly touched Aya on the shoulder. Then she smiled at her and returned to Ashwin's side.
Ash watched her curiously as she went to the other girl. Perhaps it was just because they were close in age that she felt so comfortable talking to the other younger girl. Lightly he shrugged as his gaze returned to Aura. He heard as he told the girl, Finx how she used to be mental patient. He was not surprised if she had special abilities. Then he eyes traveled over to Onna she as well as Aura were rather pretty. He somewhat questioned what pretty girls would want to do with this haunted house. Then again he figured it was not his place to judge. Lightly he took both his key and Rosie's keys, though the young girl snatched her's out of his hand and dropped it into her little brown bag. Rosie wasn't sure but for a short while she thought she had felt another presence besides the other two, but of course she couldn't be sure. Grinning she hoped there was even more people to play with. It would be a nice change of pace from her dark haired friend. Especially since she would hold nothing back from the people here, they were not her friends... maybe besides Ayaka because she liked her. "Nightmare, can we go inside yet?" the small blonde asked looking up at the man.

(eesh. That took some time to read. and sorry for the late reply. )

Phin's attention - which had been on the swaying branches of a nearby tree - turned to the now large group, causing him to jump back. He raised his hands in front of his chest such as if he was surrendering and exclaimed. "Woah, more people! Hello... Umm... yeah. I'm Phin." He chuckled and ran his fingers through his tangled hair. Yep. Definitely not a good first impression kind of person. He looked around at all their faces matching them to the names he had absently heard. Focusing on the task at hand he decided to direct his attention to one person. Choosing the man with the eye patch - who had given him a key- he said, "Nightmare, are you to be our 'guide' on this mission? I believe the paper I read described something of a ... person... who would being showing us the Manor."
