(Holy ;O I thought I posted here. x.x Sawwi you guys for making chu tew wait. x.x;;)

Listening as how to the woman spoke of the cave almost as though she had been through caverns like this before. Avaddon had kept his eyes directed onto his small fox friend throughout the entire time, he had only taken his attention to the area around him every few moments to see if the strange creatures that glowed upon the ceiling and walls could light the way for him to see any further into the cave. Even though many of them had lined the way to go deeper into the cavern, it hadn't changed the fact that the pathway that was going to lead them deeper showed nothing but pitch darkness.

Even though Avaddon hadn't really stepped into one of these caverns before from within this endless forest, he had known very well enough that many creatures that lurked around this time of night had loved the feeling of being within the darkness. If the types of creatures Avaddon had seen before were anyway the same as he had given them credit for there was bound to be many more of those destructive monsters inside this cave each with different sizes big and small as well as nearly impossible to kill each one.

When Kaitlyn had began to take off each parts of her clothing expect for her undergarments only to dip them and drain them from the water. The dark-haired male had kept his gaze away from her as a way to show her some of her own privacy. It had only been a matter of time for the new stranger from earlier to arrive toward the cavern of water where they had stood. Raising a brow at how the stranger was pretty much covered from head to toe in the strange glowing creatures, the comment that Kaitlyn had made had caused Avaddon to let out a light chuckle about using Alai as a source of light.

It had only been a matter of time before Yukito had finally had his own fun within the water as he stepped his way out of the water after another minute or so. Quickly enough he had began to shake himself to get the water off of her white fur, after drying himself off he had curled into what looked like a small ball on the ground as the soft yet gentle sounds of purring had come from the small fox's lips. The little fox had utterly loved to fall asleep at any point it wanted to.

The one thing that Avaddon hadn't really expected was to hear from the woman that she had killed her friends that once called her by the name of Katie. So that was part of the story for the woman at least, she had even killed her own friends. But yet, Yukito had considered Kaitlyn as a friendly person. Strange indeed, but Avaddon hadn't questioned his fox's statements about the woman. "So what now? We go further in?..or do we take our chances to go back the way we came..and pray that thing isn't waiting for us?" He had questioned both of the other two he was with. Even with the large block of ice blocking the entrance into the cave from behind them, Avaddon had been sure enough with enough work they would be able to make some sort of pathway through the ice. Going further into the cave was also an option, however if it was anything like what Kaitlyn had said about dead ends or endless pits then they would be in trouble either way.

][Your worth the wait. <3][

Alai was bouncing a bit on his feet, that bright smile still on his lips even as the woman introduced herself and admitted to killing her friends. Alai tilted his head slightly to the side. "If they were your friends why would you kill them? Are you going to kill me?" Such simple questions, Alai had missed the eye roll earlier, or perhaps just ignored it, and now he asked those questions rather nonchalantly, as if he didn't really care how she answered them. He truly was curious as to how someone could kill their friends. It didn't seem like it would be any easy thing or an easy thing to talk about if someone was forced to do it. Maybe the woman was crazy? Alai didn't like that thought, and quickly decided their must be a very good reason for it.

Then the woman was diving into the water. Alai gave a slight shrug, a couple of glow worms falling from his shoulders as he turned to watch the fox curl up to sleep. A giggle fell from his lips at the sight and sound of the little creature purring, then Alai's attention moved to Avaddon and he shrugged again. "I assumed we'd leave the way we came in once the monster was gone. Though exploring is fun too, we could explore and maybe find treasure." He bounced on his feet lightly, reaching up to run a hand through his long white hair, he stopped in mid motion, remembering the glow worms there and not quite ready to dislodge the multitude of glow worms there.

That hand changed course and he picked off the one that was crawling across his face. That ever present bright smile on his lips, Alai moved closer to Avaddon and standing on his tip toes reached up to drop the glow worm on Avaddon's head, giggling like mad the whole time.

Luckily Kaitlyn hadn't heard the young girl's question. She would have answered honestly, and the answer would have been a 'probably'. She was floating on her back when the feel of something brushing against it made her bring her legs down and wade upright. She frowned into the water but couldn't see anything except the reflection of the glowworms.

She was only vaguely listening to the pair on the rocks when they started talking again. She wasn't going back the way they came. The ice probably wouldn't even be melted enough to get out anyway. Besides, when the girl spoke of treasure, it piqued Kaitlyn's interest.

She had no interest in actually taking treasure and making money off of it or anything. Just the idea that treasure existed down here some where was interesting to her. How would it have gotten there? What would it look like? Kaitlyn had a huge sense of adventure and was so curious about the world she never had the chance to know.

Something brushed against her foot. Were there fish down here? They wouldn't be blind fish, not with all the light of the glowworms. help, Kaitlyn wasn't going to float around here to find out it was some hideous sharp toothed monster. She began to swim towards the edge where the others were, but her foot caught on something. Or rather, something caught her foot.

It was strange. She wasn't being dragged under, or hurt at all. Perhaps there was some kind of cave sea weed or something? It would make more sense as to what had been brushing around on her. She kicked her leg, but it didn't give much. Her knife was by her clothes, so she had no help in the matter, but still she would try to free herself.

She took a deep breath and ducked under the water, using whatever held her to pull herself to it. She opened her eyes, but the visibility in the water wasn't more than a foot. Of course. She reached down to try and tug whatever it was free, and it tightened. She knew there were seaweeds like that. The more you struggle, the more tangled you get. It was a dangerous thing.

But now what. Would she actually have to ask one of the others for help. Never. She never asked someone else for help, she didn't need anyone. She came back up for air before ducking back under the water again. If tugging made it worse, she would give it slack and see if she could pull it free.

She swam down and something brushed her arm, then something on her thigh. One of the weeds began to wrap around her wrist but she pulled away. Little did Kaitlyn know, they weren't weeds at all, but sort of arms, or tentacle/vine-like appendages to a much, much larger water monster at the bottom of the small underground lake. And it was using Kaitlyn as bait. Soon her friends would come for her, and it would eat them all.

She came up for air again. Just trying to assess the situation. "Stupid f*cking seaweed," she mumbled, giving another tug of her leg. She tried swimming forward and subconsciously reached for her knife, many many feet away from her still. She was fit and lived her life getting out of situations like this. But she didn't know how long she could go wading out here, using her energy trying to free herself.

Once, she'd spent nearly five and a half hours in water, waiting. But she had rocks around her and didn't have to expend any energy. She felt a little tug. "Huh?" The thing was getting impatient. Kaitlyn began to wonder if it was seaweed at all... Without panicking and with a steady heart rate, Kaitlyn yelled to the others, though she hated having to. "Can one of you throw me my knife?" she said, obviously detesting having to ask. "I'm stuck," she added miserably.

((I'd totally forgotten that Kaitlyn had weapons, lol. Duh!))
