Bio: Heiro was born to a wealthy and powerful vampire lord who has recently become... incapacitated, leaving him as the head of the bloodline, despite his half-blood nature. Having barely settled into the large footsteps left by his sire, he has been called away to attend the Fairy Court's ball, as he had in lieu of his father many decades past, during better years. This time he attends not only as the ambassador between the court and his bloodline, but as a Vampire king of Japan.

Appearance: Six feet tall, broad shouldered and long-limbed. His frame is lean and his muscles lithe but well defined. Almond-shaped midnight-blue eyes are set into a face that is almost feminine, though an angular jaw and the thin scar from his left brow to right cheek breaks the illusion. His skin is unnaturally pale and almost literally covered in scars, the most prominent being a large one that covers the left half of his neck, its jagged edges reaching from jawline to his collarbone. His raven black hair is dead-straight, sleek and mid-back in length. Overall, his features look to be a mix of Slavic and Oriental.

Representing: What is left of The Kahroba Tribe

Bio: Sadiya’s father had raised her well, teaching her how to use her adventurous and hot-headed nature to her advantage. She is using those skills now to help keep her people alive, daring to take the incentive and convince their leader to join with the other Fae in a way that is practically unheard of in an attempt to preserve their kind. It worked, and now she attends the grand gala as the ambassador of her people.
Fears: Being underwater for major, Cold places and snow for minor

Appearance: Petite but not lacking in curves, she’s fairly short, standing at about five feet, four inches. Her skin is a golden tan that seems to glow and light patterns of dots and swirls can be seen if one looks close enough. Her eyes are wide, and a rich red-brown color that clearly show her fiery nature. Her hair is a mass of curls and waves that fall to her mid-back and is a vivid coppery red that shines gold in the sunlight. Her breed of fae has no wings, but their ears are much like their cousins, long and expressive.

Bio: Having just recently completed his training as a full-fledged warlock mage, Nivedus has been travelling the world to experience the planet’s life in all its forms. His mentor told him of the Masquerade in his last visit and suggested the young mage attend, promising that there would be many supernatural species in attendance. Swayed by the promise of observing interesting races, he agreed.
Fears: Large amounts of fire (candles, lanterns, fireplaces, ect are fine) for major. And Zombies for minor.
Influential person: His mentor, who can be both positive and negative.
Appearance: Slender, angular and tall. His cat-like, vivid green eyes are sharp and filled with mischief, accentuated by a series of markings that look like dark scars but seem to be some form of arcane symbols that trail from the outer corner of his eyes, across his defined cheekbones. His skin is a warm medium tan, smooth and youthful while his hair is a natural silvery white, falling in lightly layered waves to just below his shoulders.

He decided to kill her slowly, but, thank the lord, she was saved while near-death. She was treated back to health, her father put on death sentence.
She lives on her own now. She was sad that she lost her mother, but was glad that her father got what he deserved.

Bio: There isn't really much to say about Flora. She's lived almost her whole life in the forest, watching over the plants and animals. Every so often there would be visitors or travelers. She would keep them company for a while, but not the whole time they were in the forest.
One day, there was a traveler by the name of Gabriel that, somehow, managed to capture her heart and convince her to come with him to his hometown. She decided to go with him, yet was confused about the outside world. She learned quickly, though, as Gabriel showed her many different places and things.
Gabriel had gone on a long journey without her, though. He hadn't returned when he said he would, and the young Dryad had been stricken with despair.
She didn't stop loving him, yet decided that it was time to move on. She hopes that she will be able to find someone at the Fairy Court's ball, which she gladly accepted an invitation to.
Fears: fire(major), death(minor), and seeing nature destroyed(minor. It saddens her greatly, though.)

Bio: A humble centaur would be one way to describe Cyris, if he was humble at all. Prideful, but with no power, Cyris spends much of his time with his peers, those that try to be better than he, and those that are in awe of him. The only reason he was allowed to represent the Clan at the Masquerade, was because his elder brother (the more responsible brother) fell ill.

At the birth of his younger brother, the clan settled down beside the volcano they currently reside near. Bio: Calder was the younger of the two royal Lisander Clan brothers. Despite this, he was never lost in the background. Simply being so opposite had always raised eyebrows (some even claimed Calder was not truly part of the Lisanders. Though, because they really had no idea how element passing worked, it was never proven). Because of occasional attacks, Calder found himself spending most of his time indoors and often alone, entertaining himself with that wild imagination. When he was out and about, he was always under the protection of Aden, who’d always been a tad on the protective side. Calder’s elemental skill had always been on the weak side. In fact, only recently has he seen a sudden spurt of improvement. Calder only came along to cause his big brother trouble, and because being left behind meant time spent open to attacks or locked away in his quarters.

She ran to the window to look out, her long black hair flying in the wind as she stuck her head out. Someone had driven their car into a telephone pole, and the hood had smoke starting to seep out. She grabbed her cell and ran outside, forgetting that she was only in a nightgown, and dialed emergency. She started speaking as soon as she heard an answer, trying not to go too fast, so that the lady could understand her. "I'm on Broadway and Riverton, someone in a red jeep just crashed into a telephone pole, and the car's starting to smoke. I'm seeing if anyone was hurt."

RP sample: Rachel approached the audience hall. Her boots clicking with purpose throughout the stone corridor. Reaching the entry doors, she saluted the guard. They took in her unreadable face and calmly opened the heavy wooden doors for her. She forced her mind to focus as clearly as in any battle and calmly walked into the large room. She saw the glint out of the corner of her eye where archers in the balcony poised. Continuing down the center of the room, she approached the throne. Hidden in the shadows the dim light cast, her father sat full of dignity with the alertness years in warfare had given him. She kept her thoughts to a minimum as his eyes searched his face. Finally he spoke, "Your purpose here my daughter?" She saw the movement behind the pillows at the side indicating more soldiers. She was surrounded. She looked her father square in the eye and allowed her love for him to finally show. His surprise was evident, quickly conceal in a furrowed frown. "State your reason for being here instead of at your post at the high peak lookout."

She dropped to one knee and bowed her head. The perfect picture of obedience. Her objections to his method of rule were well known. She displayed the very qualities they needed in order to believe what she was about to request. "My honorable father. I left the post not unwatched. My best guard stands deployed in my absence. I humbly request your favor. There is word of a masquerade being held by the Fae. History has shown that those who do not step into the main light during turning points have no control over the future. In the name of our family's honor and our clan pride, allow me to go as a representative to these meetings on your behalf. I'm not the first born nor have the prestigious talents my brothers and sisters possess. My absence would not bring calamity as another's would. If I succeed in bringing favor towards our clan, we may succeed in avoiding pointless warfare in the future." He had risen at her request to leave the mountains and protective woods. Now he slowly sat back down, a thoughtful look on his face.

Bio: Grew up with his father who was a soldier. When his father tried to unveil corruption, he was murdered and his son forgotten. Taking the lesson that trust must be earned, he grew up among the thieves and murders by working in bars and trading favors for skill lessons. My the time he was a grown man, he was an accomplished assassin. Found that by helping the common peasants and lower class people have a fair chance at life, he could create a network of friends. Using this network, he soon found ways to foil the plans of the corrupt wealthy.
Fears: Major fears are forests and the creatures therein as he was raised in the city. Minor fear is of men who would push their orientation on him. This comes from working in bars as a child where men didn't always care who they spent the night with.
Influential person: A friend of his father, Eugene, who taught him many of the skills he learned.
Appearance:
Masquerade outfit: A white tuxedo with a white cape and hat. Carries a cane and a golden facial mask.
RP sample: Mitch walked through the crowd calmly but with purpose. He made good time and managed to not trip anyone. At the end of the market, he slipped into a damp alley. Out of mind, out of sight. He paused at the outraged cries filled the air of those who were just discovering they had been pickpocketed. He grinned and headed into the shadows. It was only a matter of minutes before he reached a worn down, but solid, bar. Strolling in, he took in the empty room and quiet atmosphere. Eugene sat near the fire resting before the evening crowd came in. Mitch walked beside him and sat down. Handing him the money of those he had cleaned out earlier, he spoke, "Those men I have been shadowing all week are no longer as rich as they planned to be. It should keep them from bribing the local gangs for a few days." He noticed an envelope on the hearth edge with his name. Raising an eyebrow at Eugene, he reached for it and slowly picked it up. Opening the flap, he pulled out the contents. Astonishment slowly filled his face. He looked at Eugene, "You can't be serious." Eugene gave him a steady look before rising and giving him a steady clamp of the shoulder before heading into the kitchen. Eugene stared at him and then back at the invitation to the masquerade ball.

And I still need to fix up Uriel's. hehe I wonder how Uriel and Heiro will get along this time around. He did end up annoying Heiro at one point or another.

Yup. It might be a bit though, I have to clean one up and scan it in, I don't have any since I'm still using Kina's laptop. And honestly, both are bad, though he'd probably be selfish and jealous, rather she be with him than another man. I don't think any of you have seen that side of him yet... this will be interesting indeed!
