"That's to bad, I really do like this old place. They don't make houses with character anymore." He said softly.

"They don't. This house has survived so much, it seems a waste to let it rot away like this." The male sighed.

"Then why let it rot away?" He asked. "Why not do something with it. Put back together it would make a very charming Bed and Breakfast." He commented watching Christian. "Though maybe I'm getting a bit ahead of myself."

A bed and breakfast? Christian didn't know whether he really wanted strangers sleeping in bedrooms that once belonged to his family. But something did have to be done and if he didn't sort it during this visit then he probably never would. "This house has been in my family for generations and it has been abandoned for a very long time. It will take years of work to get it back to the way it once was."

"But it can be done. It should be done." He said passion filling his voice. He hadn't never felt this passionate about anything before.

It was nice to see someone with so much passion at this ungodly hour. "I'll give it some proper thought later on when I've woken up properly."

Kirin nodded. He wasn't sure what had come over him. He would never have done anything like this in the past. Maybe it was all the crap that was going on in his life at the moment that was causing him to behave brashly.

Christian simply smiled. "So, did you sleep well last night?" He asked, biting back a yawn. "Is your head any clearer?"

"I rested well, eventually. But I still have no plan on where to go. I'll probably just head out find the nearest town and go from there." He said with a small smile.

"I see. Well, you're more than welcome to stay a few more days if you'd like, it would be nice to have a bit of new company." He said with a nod of his head.

Kirin smiled. "I'd like that. I might have to find the nearest town to get some cleaning supplies and clean up my room a bit." He was glad he'd been invited to stay. He really hadn't wanted to leave.

"I have cleaning products in my room, I always bring some with me to get my own room habitable. I can't stand sleeping in dust." Christian said looking over his shoulder and back towards his room.

"Would it be alright if I used some?" He asked with a smile.

Christian gave a lazy shrug of his shoulders. "Help yourself. You'll find them in the box behind the door."

"Thank you." He said with a smile. He went into Christians room and looked around.

Christian followed and after closing the door enough to reveal the box of cleaning products, sat himself back down on his bed and yawned. "I haven't been awake this early in years."

"I should get out of your hair and let you take a nap." He said smiling. "You're room is nice." He commented. (yeah I had him look around to see the room and I had wanted you to describe it)

The room was filled with antique furniture and it's walls covered in dark red wallpaper, the only light in the room did little to illuminate things fully, but this seemed to be the way Christian liked it. On top of the antique desk were piles of old books, their spines worn and faded. The bed was draped in a dark red to match the rest of the decor and even the trunk at the end of his bed seemed to be a shade of the same color. Though the trunk used to contain clothes, it was now home to all the old toys and stuffed animals he'd once owned as a child, he just didn't have the heart to throw them away. There were no photo's or drawings on show in the room either, no mirrors and no heating. "I don't nap, if I fall asleep now you probably won't see me again until dusk. My body clock is terrible." The male replied, draping the bed covers around his shoulders.

Kirin was fascinated with the old books. He moved to them and let his fingers run along them. He just silently took in the room. He knew he hadn't known Christian that long but this room did seem to suit him.

Christian sat there watching him quietly. "There's a study downstairs with it's own library, if you're interested in old books."

"I'll make sure to check it out." He said with a smile. He went and grabbed the cleaning supplies and then headed back to his room. A part of him did wonder what would happen to him when Christian went back to the city.

Christian decided it was probably best he went back to sleep and so climbed out of bed to shut the door, before crawling back underneath the sheets and he was out like a light the moment his head touched his pillows.

Kirin spent the day cleaning. Soon his room was clean and other parts of the house were as well. He was currently curled up in the library reading an old tome.

Christian awoke at sunset and after a shower (he'd had a modern one fitted several years back), he threw on a pair of clean clothes and headed downstairs to see where his guest had gotten to. After a bit of searching, he was found in the study reading one of the books. "Anything interesting?"

"History. So yeah." He said with a smile.
