I know they can all run each other outta energy!

Ru: It really would be too much! Danny and I have talked about it though. We'll probably adopt a dog from a shelter, instead of going to a breeder.

Hummy: We've not said no to the dog per say, just gotta wait until the kiddos are old enough to help us take care of the dog. :) I've got my hands full and don't need to add a dog into the mix at the moment.

That may be true - But knowing my kids like I do - I'd end up being the one who ends up being in charge of everything with the dog -- and I really would like it to be a family effort to take care of the dog, so we're waiting.

Yes please do get a shelter dog! There are so many that need homes out there that are such sweet doggos <3

The girls can get their dog fix with my brother's dog until we get ours in a few years! ^_^

Yep! Although sometimes it leads to more begging than usual for their own dog, so sometimes it's exhausting, but my brother lives in the same complex that we do, so the dog is close by when they need doggie cuddles (as Norah calls it). ^_^
