I feel ya, I still have to find time to go out this weekend and hunt legendary pokemon! I NEED a freaking Articuno! It was raining this afternoon and doing raids in the rain is the worst, so I didn't. Just came home after work and got roped into that restaurant fiasco.

My grandfather drove us. I couldn't leave without them. And it was too far to walk, plus also rainy and gross out. But really, I should know better. You can't take Grandma out of nice meals. My brother took us all out one time and my grandmother was nasty all night and made our waiter CRY! I was in the bathroom and I come back and everyone at the table is all awkward awkward and I'm like "Uh....what did I miss?"

I get that all the time "You still play pokemon?!" But there is a really strong Pokemon Go community in my state. It's like time has weeded out the weak and now the really hardcore remain. We have a big facebook group, a discord channel for organizing raids, we're planning a group picnic. It's fun. I even reconnected with an old friend through pokemon. :D

@Michy Lea - Yeah, it's nifty. Funny thing is, it's mostly adults playing. There's the odd actual child, but mostly it's adults with cars, driving around doing raids and stuff. And it's a really diverse crowd too. Crosses all over the age and race barrier, which is super cool. :)

It seems fun, like a scavenger hunt. I just never played it.
