Things that would be nice: better places to store my dolls, safely away from bugs.

Hmm...I know that sprinkling cinnamon will keep ants away, but I don't know if it'll deter other bugs.

One day in the far future, I hope bug repellent comes in the form of perfume.

Cinnamon can count as perfume >_>;. It smells nice, at least. And keeps ants away pfft!

Cinnamon also gets rid of gnats in plants.
Sprinkle it over the dirt and the newly hatched gnats can't get out of the dirt because it burns them, so they can't breed and the die.

That's awesome. But there are soooo many bugs out there that bug spray keeps away. Cinnamon would be a nice perfume ingredient.

I will have to try that on my herbs!

Gnats seem to love my face...and my hair....yech....

At one time my houseplants were so infected with gnats that I found it difficult to breathe without getting a gnat in my nose. That was when we discovered cinnamon killed gnats. In 2 days the gnats were gone and they never came back.

I'm gonna keep that in mind for gardening indoors >>. Might start using it around the aloe, provided cinnamon doesn't hurt aloe plants.....

I must remember that, too, for my houseplants.

Don't let the cinnamon get on the plant or leaves, just sprinkle it on the soil.
I also sprinkled it in the pan or plate that the pot sits in to catch water, then was careful not to over water.
I was so stoked that I didn't have to spray any toxic chemicals inside of my house or throw my plants away.

Throwing one's plants away would indeed suck.

Gnats are demons. Not very high-ranking ones, but demon spies nonetheless.

There's no satisfaction like seeing a bowl of soap and water full of drowned gnats… though it's mostly gross.

I honestly had to read that twice. I thought it said a bowl of soup. And I thought to myself soup I love soup. But then I read the rest and well yuck

Soup would probably drown them, too, but… yuck. *shudders*
