I will post daily some of my favourite poems.

Quote:
True beauty is in the way she laughs
True beauty is in her eyes
True beauty is how she acts
True beauty is inside
True beauty is unseen
True beauty is only felt
True beauty is not mean
True beauty is herself
True beauty can't be cruel
True beauty is bare
True beauty within you
True beauty is always there
True Beauty can't be covered with makeup
True beauty means true love
True beauty can't be baked up
True beauty is the flight of a dove
True beauty has no flaws
For True beauty is all that matters after all

Quote:
The evening sun shining down upon your face
Your dazzling hair flowing softly in the gentle wind
Your shapely cheeks filled with rosy plumes
Your stunning eyes melting me with but one look

The midnight moon brightly luminescent
My love for you made clear in the night
My passion blazing through the darkness
My desire for you, unmistakable

The morning dew gleaming radiantly
Your intoxicating smell captivating me
Calling to me drawing me near
Pulling me into you losing myself

The afternoon rain bringing life to all
Standing in showers waiting for your man
To take you away, to a wonderful place
Where all your cares disappear

I caress your face, my hands through your hair
Your tears slowly away, never to return
My arms around your delicate body
Relieving all fears, all worries

Our eyes, once met, never leaving
Our lips, once pressed, never yielding
Our minds, once merged, never apart
Our hearts, once one, together always

« For We Have Been Set Free
From a distance »

Freedom

Freedom to give
Freedom to live
Freedom to question why

Freedom to walk
Freedom to talk
Freedom to live or to die

Freedom to sing
Freedom to swing
Freedom to just walk on by

Freedom to speak
Freedom to seek
Freedom to laugh or to cry

Freedom to work
Freedom to shirk
Freedom to spend or to buy

Freedom to please
Freedom to tease
Freedom to smile or to sigh

Freedom to be
Freedom to see
Freedom to aspire so high

Freedom to touch
Freedom to clutch
Freedom to grant or deny

Freedom that’s mine
Freedom divine
Freedom no money can buy

Who Shall We Help Today
Quote:
Poet: John McLeod, © 1982

Who shall we help today, my friends,
Who shall we help today?
A poor-man passing in the road
A word to ease his way?
A kindly thought, a friendly deed
A smile so freely given?
These are the treasures all may give
These are the keys to heaven!

Who shall we help today, my friends,
Who shall we help today?
A sad soul in distress perhaps?
Kneel with that soul and pray;
Show him the love our Father showed
In the way His son was given:
These are the gifts all have to give,
These are the keys to heaven!

Who shall we help today, my friends,
Who shall we help today?
The lame, the sick, all those in need?
So much that one can say
And do to help another's pain
In love's compassion given,
Yours is the gift of giving, friend,
Yours are the keys to heaven!
