Hello everyone! I'm looking for a place to chat do you mind if I join?

I've never seen the Hobbit or any Lord of the Rings movie ir read any other the book for either. the only thing I really know is that some people in the Hetalia Fandom when the movie for the Hobbit came out were part of the LoTR and Hobbit fandom so I would see many post on Tumblr about cross over of the two and that LoTR can also be another nickname of England standing for Land Of Tea and Rain instead of what it originally meant.

My sudden love of the Hobbit took me by surprised. I have seen the Lord of the Rings movies, but I was never really obsessed with them. I guess I just really love the dwarves they cast, they are awesome :D

@Wifey - I really didn't use my tumblr much at first, it was just another account. But once you figure out what you want to do with it, it can get pretty addictive. At first, I just watched other people, but now I reblog dwarves. Dwarves everywhere! XD

Same here! Started playing it back in junior high when all the guys in class were playing it with the computer in the back of the classroom. Though they weren't actually playing it, per se, but rather using programs to do the playing for them while they sit in class...cheaters.

I spent a lot of money on the game back when playing it costs money. Stopped for a few years when I got to high school, then picked it up again for a few months in college when a friend told me that they were free now. But stopped again soon because there were so many cheaters in it and there's a whole giant war between the two factions...the cheaters and the 'pros'.

The Pros didn't like the cheaters because they were cheating, so they use a ton of those twigs to summon hordes of monsters everywhere on the maps that the cheaters pass through on, so whenever the cheaters pass through, they get killed, auto-spawn back in town, walk out of town again on the same route, get killed again, and thus lose experience. Unfortunately, the maps that have hordes of monsters in them are also the ones where the non-cheaters but also non-pros like me pass through on, so we get slaughtered too and can't level up. It got irritating pretty quickly.

I'm not sure what Origin is...my first PC games were the ones on DOS.

Actually, Origin came a bit after the DOS games...but they were right there at the time.

Wow...the original Origin is so old, Wiki doesn't have anything about it.
They're saying that EA is now Origin, but Origin was originally owned by a guy here in Austin.

Hmm...was it like the games with Wolfstein or one where you walk around inside human tissue killing viruses?
