Cora, why does the happy couple want a mandolin? :O

A mandolin is a kitchen tool for slicing things fast and evenly. :) Although since they weren't specific, you could probably get away with the musical instrument.

I think we are thinking of different types of mandolin's :P

Hmm... I was going to take pictures in between cooking... but if I'm in the kitchen it's hard to keep away from the Easter Ham... It got cooked all night last night, and then I cut it up this morning, and it's sooo tempting. Maybe I should take pictures of non-kitchen things.

My mother is in the process of making the ham. :y Though, I'm not a big fan of ham.

That's okay, Elirona. Some of us are made to eat ham and some of us are made to eat seafood. If everyone liked the same things there wouldn't be enough to go around!

True! But, I don't like seafood either! I am an incredibly picky butt.

I will eat almost anything except seafood. Well... I'm a bit suspicious of organ meat. And possum is disgusting. But... almost anything!

...People eat possum? :U Isn't that unsafe?

If the animal was healthy and the meat was cooked well, just about any animal is technically edible. But opossum is very greasy and has an unpleasant flavor to it that I just can't describe. I would have to be on the verge of starvation to eat it again, and I don't foresee that happening.

Oh, okay, good. I feel like possum has a lot of diseases. :x I'd be reluctant to eat any animal besides the normal things like rabbit or pheasant. Even then, I've never had rabbit or pheasant!
