"Okay! Be safe." Sergio smiled and watched Donatello walk out of the door. He had a few more customers after he left, but Sergio was a bit out his groove. He couldn't stop thinking about Donatello, and it somehow ate at him inside that he wasn't with him at the moment, even though he had only been gone for a few hours. He glanced up at the clock hanging somewhat above his head-- three more hours to go. He sighed and prayed for time to go by a bit faster.

Donatello was more than glad to have dropped off the bags inside his home, then gone inside to change clothes. This time he wore a looser dress shirt, and slightly more wrinkled pants, but they were calmer clothes, things that could quickly be made serious if need be. He tied his hair back loosely this time, so he wouldn't have to keep playing with it absently, such a bothersome and, as he'd been told, teasing habit of his. As he returned to the Sugared Pear, he decided he'd keep Sergio's keys until his shift was over, at the very least. It would lessen the bother. And being there would show the young man that Donatello was trustworthy enough to be lived with. But he didn't find the thought odd, to bring someone in to stay in his home. People did it all the time, only they made the extra heads pay for their stays. Donatello was no landlord, and not so cruel.

Slipping back in the dark club, he mulled about the entrance and sat around with some loners, who seemed to value his company so earnestly they would lean forward, close the distance that might have been there, speak in very low whispers and often grasp his hands as if they were lifelines. However, each time someone tried to kiss him, Donatello turned away lightly, in a way that wouldn't offend or upset. It almost physically hurt to go against his nature, which screamed at him to act, but he kept an eye on Sergio wherever he could be seen, rather than on those others. He could handle it a while longer. A couple days, perhaps.

Sergio talked to a few more customers, all boring and a bit too his drunk for his liking. All they talked about was what they would do to Sergio if he would let them, and it irritated him. He didn't understand why everyone had to be so driven to do such things without even a notion or clue of the person's personality, or maybe even name. It made him aggravated, and very much disgusted.

Thirty minutes before closing time, after yet another annoying customer decided it was time to go, Sergio felt a pair of eyes on him. He looked around to see Donatello had returned as was watching him from a distance. Sergio blushed, feeling slight butterflies in his stomach. Why did he feel like this, he thought, even though he had been around plenty of handsome men? He didn't understand why he only felt a true attraction to Donatello, after meeting so many people over the years. He gulped and smiled at him, still red in the face, slightly hoping he would notice.

He was glad to see the young man had seen him. At this point he'd decided to stand nearby, and then wander a little, stepping by a couple tables and leaning against the wall where he could be out of the way but still able to see Sergio. The young host seemed to have an arsenal of words even for the most straightforward drunk, which Donatello truly disliked. He couldn't help, though, but laugh at the way they just blundered about as if they were a fish out of water, then dejectedly walking away to try their luck elsewhere. When the young man spotted him, though, Donatello smiled back, his sharp eyes catching the way his face grew a little red. He couldn't help but feel like he'd love to spend time with the young man because of what he was like. Strangely intricate, for a human. Intriguing, to say the very least. Why? Donatello yet again found himself asking himself that. Why not just go after that barely-legal-to-drink guy in the corner, looking a bit desperate for someone to notice him? Or the more experienced-looking type right at the bar...

Maybe he could go for those two speaking low nearby. He was almost thinking about that, and shook his head hard, rolling his eyes to the ceiling and focusing on the darkly-tinted cover over the light above him.
