She smiled at first and thought he was giving her such a great complement but than he called her a teen! And that made her scoff, "Well now you know twenty-one! Hardly close to a teen, full on adult." she stuck her tongue out at him, and even threw a pouting, glare at him when Xavier smirked at her. But she had been surprised when he said that's how he used to act, 'The outbreak sure brought the seriousness out of him...' than she thought about, 'Or maybe the fact that his finace and brother betrayed him that same day.'

Scarlett followed Xavier close behind as they entered the office area, she kept her eyes peeled as they continued through the hallway, seeing the sign that read radio tower. Scarlett quickly tapped on Xavier's shoulder and pointed to the sign, than they headed off down a different hallway and quickly found the door. But Scarlett was starting to get worried, it just didn't feel right. The boys had yet to search the whole place and they had no reason to go places they didn't need to.

Xavier quickly spotted the sign and turned down the hall to get to the room. Once they got to the door, Xavier pushed his back up against the wall, he saw the key card pad and took a breath, "Maybe they left it unlocked?" he said jokingly. He grabbed the door handle and pushed down on it, only for it to refuse to go any further. Xavier sighed, "Ugh." he hissed in annoyance, and rubbed his head in thought, "Well let's look for the key card." he looked over to Scarlett.

Scarlett nodded her head and couldn't help the sigh that left her lips. They started to to look through the rooms, slowly. They got to one room and it was a mess, papers, books, and other offices supplies on the floor, while the chairs and desk were flipped over. Scarlett walked in quietly and looked around, she had the ax up and ready for whatever. Walking over to a desk she started to look through the drawers for anything that might be a key card or anything useful, "You find anything yet?" she whispered over to Xavier.

Xavier looked around the messy office and started to search along with Scarlett, mostly drawers. He found a couple of pictures of families, they were cracked and had dry blood on them, he frowned as he picked one up for a moment to look at it, in the picture was a man with his wife and three little girls. Scarlett's voice pulled him out of his thoughts, he cleared his throat, "Ah, nah. Just a bunch of paper work, flight plans, nothing really. You?" he looked over to her, placing the picture back down.

Scarlet saw the odd look on his face but didn't say anything about it, "Nothing over here either. Let's go check out the other rooms." she walked out of the office and headed over to the next.

Once they went through a couple more offices together, Scarlet huffed in annoyance, "Okay let's just split up and look in the last couple of offices and be done with this. We're running out time." she knew he wouldn't like it but they needed to find that key card and quick.

Xavier wasn't to keen on that idea but seeing as they didn't have much to play around and for him to try and make his point, he frowned with a sigh and nodded anyways. "Just be careful." he watched her till she turned into a near by office. His eyes narrowed for a moment but than he sighed and turned to go down into the other offices.

He couldn't find a thing so far as he searched through all the mess. Rubbing his hair in annoyance, he walked out of the third office he's looked through now. He looked down the hall and couldn't see Scarlet at all, going against his better judgment, Xavier went around the corner and kept looking through the other rooms.

"Ah, this one better have something that can help us." As he walked into an office he saw the legs of a person behind a flipped over desk. He got his staff ready and walked over to the body. When he got around the desk the body was almost completely devoured, he poked it with his staff to see if it would move but nothing happened. He huffed and started to search, hearing a shuffle of papers behind him, Xavier turned around to see a Dead walking towards him, "Where the hell?" he hissed, he was just going to try and leave but than something caught his eye, on the Dead's uniform was a key card, "You got to be kidding."
