They idea came when I noticed in the Site Feedback forum, someone posting about starter clothes when we join.
This is never ever gonna happen by the way.
My guess is, most users come over from Gaia. I know I did.
And recently, with advertisements on TekTek, we have had loads of Gaians join!
(And some converted, hehe).
So I had this great vision - Make your own starter set Kultura! Do it do it do it!
So I did. I created a charity, especially for newbies.
As a charity, the Newbie Closet's purpose is to donate.
But it's so much more than a charity now. Many members who joined and posted here for a donation still hang out here (I can't get rid of them!). Loads have gone on to create their own charities, but still hang out here. Because of these members, I'm pretty sure that you'll settle into this thread very easily. Everyone's so friendly and always willing to help.
So, the Newbie Closet offers a place to settle into Menewsha and friendships, as well as donations.

Well first of all, here are some incredibly useful links.
They will give you the ins and outs of the site. Remember, this is Menewsha.
Menewhsan rules apply.
1. Read the rules and guides posted above. Doing so will make the site sooo much easier to use, and by following them, you won't get into any trouble!
2. Don't double post. This is a site rule, but damn I need it here too. Double posting is posting twice, three, four times in a row, and is not allowed. If you post after yourself, you need to report it. Click the little button at the bottom of your post to report it. A mod will then delete it.

3. PM forms to Kultura. Your donation will come from NewbieCloset.
4. Do not PM me a form before you have 30 posts.
5. Don't try to scam me. I can check your posts.
6. Please don't be rude or moan :(
7. Stay on topic. Involve yourself in conversation, don't just post random stuff to build up your post count!
9. Don't get grouchy if another member gives you a friendly nudge if you've broken a rule, please. Show respect to everyone! :-D
10. Don't start drama. I will ignore you. Everyone else will ignore you. So don't.
11. Two strikes and you are out! *Blacklisted* See below for what I consider to be a "Strike".
12. Mules aren't new members, so don't try to pull that on me. If I suspect you I will report you and blacklist you.
13. I can change/ add rules whenever I feel necessary. Hopefully, this won't be too often.

And that you will not receive a donation.
Constant double posting - Once or twice if fine, but when you have been told over and over, yet still do it, it's not acceptable. It's cheating here, and you'll end up with an infraction on your account.

My charity squirrel Ben is getting rather lonely... Ever since his epic duel with Godzilla (he's a big squirrel), everyone's been afraid of him!

I'm not really judging this on artistic ability. That wouldn't be fair 'cause I know myself, not everyone has this! A simple drawing, on MS pint or even hand-drawn and scanned will suffice. So long as I can get the whole idea of your mascot.

Yeah Kulti is a sweetie. And a bit of advice if you pretty up your post by say adding a color to your text it will help you with your gold earning. And you can make up to 500 gold a day playing the games. So that will help you on your quest to being less newbie looking. Umm and after you are a month old here there is the GBA wich is the giving back Auction, you can bid on expensive and rare items and can possiblw get them for a much lower price...there is also the questers raffle. There are a lot of things set up to help users meet their goals here on mene.
