Have you ever wondered what happens to the characters after the story ends? Do they really live happily ever after? How can they? Does the world really work like that?

In the middle of a vast stretch of woods lyes a small village by the name of Never After, home to what humans have come to know as "fairytales". Never After is exactly what humans would think it to be. Small, peaceful, quiet, and filled with fairytale creatures, each with their own famous or infamous story.

Only when the humans aren't looking does Never After show its true colors. The inhabitants of this village have many secrets and aspects of their stories. Much of which is hidden from the public. What dark secrets will you discover when you take a trip to Never After?

__________________________________________________ ____________________________

You come across a strange path leading into the woods. Follow it? No...if you get lost how will anyone find you? The trees are far too thick for anything overhead to be able to see through.

The path is just too tempting. You follow it. ONWARD!

As you walk deeper and deeper into the woods you feel as if something is pulling you, compelling you to keep making your way through.

Just as you begin to think you're lost with no hope you see a beautiful stream with a waterfall. Wow! That was an awfully big fish you just saw. And did it have...hair? You shake the thought from your mind, deciding it was just a trick of the light. You focus on how you might get out of this forest. You can't remember which way you came from so you decide to follow the stream. Streams usually mean civilization, right?

You realize you've walked for a while and have only seen various foliage and rocks. Maybe you were wrong about the stream leading you to civilization?

You're so busy contemplating your next move that you don't realize you're about to step off the edge of a rock. You fall in a crumpled heap of leaves at the base of the rock. Wow. You were lucky!

You turn yourself over, coughing up a few leaves that managed to find their way into your mouth.

once you finish your attention is grabbed by a huge sign pointing down a road that reads:

Never After

You stand up and brush yourself off. You've come this far. Why not follow it?

You've walked a good five miles before you see anything remotely resembling some sort of civilization, but when you finally see it, you're glad you stuck it out.

Congratulations! You've made it to Never After! Home of every fairytale creäture known to man.

Red pulled out her dagger as she slipped off from the high branch in the pice she'd been siting in. With a thud, Red rolled and as she stood began running. The sun would be up soon and she needed to get some rest. Being that she could really only tolerate darker places it was only logical that she was nicternal.

Black combat boots pounded on the damp forest floor, crunching through fallen leaves and snapping small twigs here and there. Red's signature scarlet cloak billowed behind her as she ran. Her black painted fingertips clutched a dagger from her belt as she ran. Red knew nothing and no one would attack here here in Never After, but it was a habit for her.

As he neared her small cottage carved into an oak tree, Red slowed to a jog. Her eyes narrowed as she say a small oice of paper tacked to her front door. The bottom of it billowed in the slight breeze of the close dawn. "This better not be another one of those jokes the dwarfs like to pull."

Red thumped up the wooden steps and ripped the notice off her door. It read;l

PLEASE REPORT TO THE TOWN HALL IMMEDIATELY

Printed in huge black letters. Red sighed. "I guess sleep will just have to wait." She grumbled to herself as she walked back down the steps and headed in the direction of the town hall. As she approached she sheathed her dagger on her belt. The town hall was really more of a giant old tree that had been hollowed out. It didn't look like much from the outside, but it was big enough to fit at least six elephants. Red smirked at the thought of trying to get then all inside. She may be twenty, but she still had the scene of adventure of someone much younger.

Red withdrew the red hood of her cloak from her face and brushed a few strands of her dark red hair from her face.

Alice yawned as she stretched, her arms brushing the sides of her small but cozy rabbit hole. It was just large enough for a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. But it was all Alice really needed. Alice brushed out her hair and went to her kitchen to get a glass of water.

Her underground home began to shake, pieces of dirt falling from the walls. Someone must have been running. Alice, curious as always, decided to go see what it was all about. Sticking her head out of the rabbit hole, Alice noticed a small piece of paper placed under a rock close by. She pulled herself out of the hole, not caring that her light blue dress was covered in dirt and her blond hair, just brushed, was now a frizzy mess of blond.

"Town meeting, huh? We have a town hall?" Alice giggled to herself as she made her way down the road towards the huge hollowed tree. They could hardly call it a town hall, the old thing. Then again, Alice did live in a rabbit hole. Not a permanent one either. Alice tended to move around a lot. When she got tired of one place she just up and left. So far, Alice had occupied six rabbit holes, three trees, and a box. She never really needed much, her imagination could compensate for anything she lacked.

Humming to herself Alice skipped off, heading in the same direction as a few other people she saw wondering around.

:Les:

Hansel, or better known as Les, sat outside in the Chess Garden. The whole place was full of wonderful games so he often came here to play against adults. He was always smug because no one in the world could beat him. He would mock them every day and challenge anyone who dared try to say they were better than him. Les would get an evil smirk and a dark aura full of energy when he challenged someone. He was confident that he couldn't be beat.

This always brought trouble for Les. Because of his constant wins he gained lots of enemies. They would mock his past of being tricked by a witch. Les didn't really care for that anyways, but as soon as anyone dared mess with his sister, Gretel, they were a dead man. He wouldn't show mercy to someone who messed with his dear sister. It was absolutely unacceptable for anyone to ever hurt his dear Gretel. He barely even allowed anyone to touch her.

Les noticed adults and children starting to shuffle out of the garden. He had been so into his game of chess he almost forgot about the town meeting. He searched for his sister first. She probably had forgotten too and he didn't want her getting lost. Maybe he was a little too protective of her but that wasn't what mattered to him. He cared too deeply for Gretel to pay attention to most of his more careless actions.

:Aka:

Rose Red glanced down from the balcony to spot her beautiful sister. Snow White got all the attention, as usual. This was something Aka had grown used to. She was always in the shadow of her sister. It made her disgusted to be constantly compared to such a girly girl. They were nothing alike and yet to everyone else they were expected to be perfect reflections. It sickened Aka to the core every day.

Aka made her escape down the long white stairs and out the door. She didn't want to be seen with Snow White as much as possible. It would only make Aka go dark. There was even a time it got messy. Aka ended up killing a guy.. okay three guys... or was it ten? Whatever. All that was in the past now. As long as they had an understanding there was no problem. Or she would usually ignore it as best as she could.

Aka finally arrived at the giant old tree. Seriously, why did they use it? Half the time it looked really to fall on everyone. Yet people get mad because it's so called "tradition that must go on", till it kills everyone, that is. It was stupid but Aka gave up on any common sense in this world. Most people were insane in every point. There was no reasoning with a mad man. It was simply useless.

Jack grinned at the note as he read it. “A meeting how fun, but of course the topic would more than likely be of no real interest to me as usual,” he said to himself. Henrietta clucked in agreement as she walked beside the young man. The unusual pair made their way slowly to the old tree that was the town hall. “At least this meeting will give me a break from trying to figuring out the clues to finding that lost treasure,” he was still more or less talking to himself. The large chicken walking beside him clucked again as if replying to the brown haired male once more. It was quite a funny sight to see a grown man having a conversation with a chicken, but you better not let Jack or Henrietta catch you laughing at them.

-------------------

The Pied Piper played his clarinet lightly as the life-sized puppet of his dearly departed Hrodohaidis, or Odisa as he called her, danced. A knock at the door interrupted the soft and haunting melody that he was playing. The kind look he had only a moment ago gone as he lowered the onyx instrument from his lips. “Go see who is at the door Odisa dear,” power rolled off his words. The puppet nodded to him and walked to the door, opening it to find a note posted on it. She pulled the paper from the door and took it over to her master.

He took the paper with a frown, which only grew as he read over it. How annoying. I have other things to do. Odisa tilted her head to the side as she watched her master. The puppet could tell he wasn’t happy about whatever was written on what she had handed him. The bluish silver haired male looked up at the puppet, “no need to worry. Looks like we will be going out today.” The man grabbed his hat and jacket from the chair beside him. “Come with me Odisa my dear?” His tone was kind and gentle unlike the usual tone he had when talking to people. The young girl puppet nodded and took her master’s hand. The two leaving after the Pied Piper made sure that he had his pipe in his jacket’s pocket.

---------------------

Gretel or Reta as the few people her brother and her let get close to her call her lounged lazily on the branch of an old weeping willow. The girl’s pale eyes watching the little trap she had set up earlier in the morning. The mischievous young woman had rigged a trip wire that would cause a mechanical invention that another resident of Never After had made and she kindly “borrowed” to throw launch things at the unsuspecting person. She had loaded the machine with various berries, all of which will stain clothes or skin, and feathers. Now all she had to do was wait for someone to come along.

As Reta waited she yawned starting to think she should have set the trap up somewhere else. The fact there was a town hall meeting today had skipped her mind. After all she had been planning this prank since she found out about the machine being built. She closed her eyes and before long she had fallen asleep.

Beast's house rested on the edge of town, away from the others, his temper set him out here. He was a nice man, but his emotions rested on the surface and that made him slightly volatile, and after the third house he destroyed in town he was sent to the outskirts for "His" protection as they called it. He had a larger stone house that was large enough to house his other form standing up easily. He was eating his lunch when he heard a knock on the door making him turn and put down his food as he walked over to the door and opened it. As he opened the door a piece of paper flew off the door and into his house making him curse softly before heading over and picking it up.

He sighed looking at the note as he grabbed his cloak, the deep blue was his favourite color even if the end of the cloak was torn to shreds at the end. Throwing up the hood and walking out of the door towards the town hall. He knew that everyone would be there and he would have to keep his temper under control, but he knew that if he was being called to the town hall it had to be something semi important and not some random meeting. He walked past the houses on the way, a few people stopped and watched him, but he just ignored them as he walked, when he reached the town hall he entered, thankful that most people hadn't reached it yet. He smiled and walked over to a corner sitting down and waiting for everyone to arrive so that they could get this over with and he could go home and out of danger. There were always people he liked to see when everyone met because he liked them and thought they were cute, which was one of the reasons he actually showed up to some of these meetings.

:Les:

Les wondered around places he would commonly find his sister. He was starting to get worried now. Maybe she had gotten lost, or worse, someone had kidnapped his cute sister. He regretted ever leaving her side now. So many people just couldn't wait to get their hands on Gretel. Les growled lowly as he searched frantically. If anyone had hurt Gretel he would boil them alive, toture them slowly, make them feel all the possible pains he could create, make them starve and dehydrated, and --.

Les cut out his thoughts as he spotted something on the willow tree. A spark of hope lit up as Les dashed over to the tree. He stopped as soon as he noticed the trap. He smirked as he looked at it's complex system. He couldn't help but feel proud of his sister. She always made the best pranks in town. Grinning halfly to himself he shouted up at his dear sister. He hated to ruin her fun but they had a meeting to attend. "Reta!"

Entering the huge hollow tree, Red looked around at her surroundings. So far the only other person she saw was Beast. She flushed slightly remembering that her hair was a tangled mess. She probobly looked like she was about to fall down dead. Red was normally asleep by now, but thanks to the town's inconsiderate Mayor, she was forced to stay awake throughout a whole town meeting about who knows what. Didn't he realize that some of the inhabitants of Never After were nocturnal!?

Red sighed and took a seat not too far from Beast but closer to the back. More people would be coming soon and Red wanted to be as far away from the commotion, and as close to the darkness as possible. The dark gave her a warm reassurance. As Red shrank down further into the darkness, she forgot all about her worries of not looking acceptable. She felt more like herself.

She wasn't usually one to care about her looks so Red had no idea why all of a sudden she had. Perhaps it was the fact she was about to be crowded into a huge hollowed log with a ton of other people. Other people always made Red uneasy. If she had her way, she would never leave the woods.

Rapunzel:

'No. That doesn't sound right. Maybe if I switch these two chords and put this there...? No. That's not it either.' Then a knocking came at the front door. 'GAH! At this rate this song will never be finished! Constant interruptions from all of those insipid people. They just don't go away.' Rochelle ranted internally to herself as she made her way down the winding staircase that led from the seventh floor of her tower down to the main part of her domicile that resembled a Victorian-style doll house painted the color of baby pink with white and powder blue accents. She had been working on the same composition for the past month and felt like it just wasn't coming together the way it should. Of course not many people actually bothered her, but she felt the need to blame someone or something and that's just what she did. Her silken blonde locks arranged themselves in a braid that didn't touch the ground, an amazing feat since her hair length currently stood at about ninety-eight feet and counting, before she opened the door and saw the note about the meeting.

"Hm... Must've slipped my mind. Oh well. I've still got time." Rochelle spoke to herself in a rather peaceful voice, placing the note on the table in her entry way before stepping onto her front porch, closing the door behind her. After three steps she winced and turned around, only to see her braid stuck in the door. "Really?" She said in an exasperated tone of voice before going to free the braid of its trap. Rochelle's almond-shaped, pink rose colored eyes scanned her front yard for just a moment to make sure everything was perfect, which it was except for one flower that was dying. A small sigh escaped her lips as she carefully stepped off of the porch and began to walk down her walkway, plucking that dying flower from the pot it was placed in and tossing it to the shrubberies to use for nourishment. Fifteen minutes of walking brought her to the town hall where she went in silently and sat somewhere in the middle. She didn't like to be in the front, but dreaded being in the back because she couldn't see anything.

---

Rumpelstiltskin:

"Eugh. Look at little miss princess. She just thinks she's all that. Pfft. I'll show her. One of these days, she'll wish she had never crossed me. Her with all that atrocious pink of hers all the time. Even her house is that dreaded color." Russ grumbled as he watched that prissy, long-haired atrocity stroll past his house, no doubt on her way to that town meeting. 'That vile creature. DETESTABLE!' It was bad enough they had to live next to each other, but today he would have to be in the same room as her. It didn't matter how far apart they sat from each other, the tension was so thick in the air that you could nearly cut it with a knife. "I wonder what she'd do if I shaved her head... No. I've got more class than that. Heh. Nice thought though." He mused to himself before pulling himself away from the window. He was beginning to worry that looking at all that pink would make his ice blue eyes run in fear.

After attending to a few things, Russ pulled on his black boots and headed out, running his fingers through his blue-black hair. He purposely walked as slowly as humanly possible. The longer he didn't have to be near that woman the better. 'What exactly does she think is so great about herself anyway? PAH! Despicable creature. Revolting.' Similar thoughts ran through his head until he realized he'd reached the town hall, at which point he had no choice but to go inside. Once inside, he picked a seat on the mirror-reflection side of where Rochelle sat. It was too close for his liking, but the look she gave him signaled that she hated it even more which meant that he loved it. 'Take that princess.' He thought with a smug smirk, keeping his eyes focused straight ahead.

Alice smiled up at the sky, looking at the clouds as she made her way to the town hall. "Why do you think they call it that? This isn't much of a town. More like a bunch of different pieces of cloth sewn together to make one big atrocious quilt." She didn't know who she was talking to, but Alice couldn't care less. She was off in her own world at the moment. "Town Hall you say? More like a Town Hollow, I would think."

The huge hollowed out log obstructed Alice's view of the sky as she neared it. She never cared much for the town or many of the creature in it either. Alice preferd to be out on adventures. Certainly not sitting in some old log listening to their mayor whine about some matter Alice didn't care about. What was the point of these meetings anyway? Alice was probably just going to end up falling asleep.

Wandering through the door, Alice looked at all the faces before her. It seemed that she had gotten there a tad early. There were only about four others there. Beast, Red, Rochelle, and Russ. A sly smile crossed Alice's lips as she thought about what might happen if those two were somehow forced to be in the same room for very long. Would it explode? Alice giggled, probably sounding absolutely mad to anyone listening.

:Aka:

Aka quickly found her way to the hollowed out log. She usually skipped on these types of things but it had gotten to the point were she was threatened to attend. Her reminders were always hate letters from the mayor. She at least had a bit of fun toying with him. It was easy to upset the mayor so there was always a game in it. Whoever got the mayor to explode won a special little prize. Of course this prize was never the same and most of it seemed to be likely stolen. But no one cared as long as they had fun.

Once inside Aka strolled along. Surely there would be another trap awaiting the mayor. She wanted the best seat, but at the same time she didn't want to be near anyone. No one seemed to understand her so it just made things weird. Because of misunderstandings she was very out of place anywhere she would go. People were too busy comparing her to her sister to notice who she truly was. At times it make Aka want to leave. In fact she was sure she would if she ever got the chance. She sat down near to Beast without much care. Somehow she felt they had a lot in common. Both were misjudged constantly. Because of this feeling of connection she found herself slowly getting closer to the man.

The girl’s eyes opened slightly at the sound of a very familiar voice close by. A smile formed on her lips at the sight of her dear brother. Reta stretched a bit and yawned softly, “up here Les.” She moved, hanging her legs down from the branch before hopping to the ground. Her landing was a little rough due to still being sleepy. “Is there something wrong,” her head tilted to the side slightly as she asking, trying not to yawn. Not really waiting for her handsome brother’s answer she moved so that she was right in front of him.

Les smiled back as Reta came down and over to him. Without hesitating he moved in to hug her. He was relieved to see that his worries were for nothing. It never stopped him from thinking the worst even though he was usually wrong. The only time he would admit to being wrong was when it came to Reta. After he regretfully released his dearest sister and smiled gently. "We have to attend a town meeting. I would love to see your prank in it's best work after we go.~"

Jack stopped short of the town hall. He stared at the old hollowed out tree for a long moment debating whether or not he really wanted to go inside. There was no doubt in the young man’s mind that at least one person would make a joke about him. The thought made him mad. Why do people have to be so cruel to those who are different? This was one thing he could never understand, not that he really wanted to know how a ‘normal’ person’s mind worked. The way his worked was just fine for him, after all everyone has their own opinion on things. A loud squawk from Henrietta snapped the brown haired male from his thoughts. “I guess you’re right. We should go in since we came this far.” The chicken clucked a few times as if in agreement.

Letting out a long sigh Jack moved forward, finally entering the town hall. From the looks of how many people where already here he hadn’t wasted enough time on his way here. He frowned a little before taking a seat in the back, not particularly close to anyone. Henrietta followed him and squawked at him after he sat down. Apparently the hen thought that she needed to be in the seat beside him instead of on the floor. This made Jack chuckle before he picked up the hen and placed her in the seat beside him. “Happy now,” the male questioned the bird. Henrietta clucked a little, which sounded a little more like happy chatter then clucking causing the young man to chuckled a bit more at his odd pet chicken.

--------------

Reta hugged her brother back and was a little sad when he let go. “Town meetings are always boring and no fun,” she pouted, giving her dear brother a sad look. The sad looking didn’t last long and she smiled again at his mentioning of wanting to see her prank. “I hope someone doesn’t set if off while we are stuck at that meeting. Though it would be funny if the Mayor set it off on his way to it and showed up covered in berries and feathers.” The thought of seeing the Mayor like that made her giggle.

She smiled, taking her dear brother’s hand. “I guess we should get going then.” There was a sparkle of mischief in Reta’s pale blue eyes as she took a glance at the prank, wishing that what she had said would actually happen. At least if that happened it would make the meeting a little more fun. She looked back at Les before they headed off in the direction of the town hall.

Red thumped her black combat boots against the wood floor in a rhythmic motion. The meeting should be starting soon and Red could feel herself beginning to slip off into a dream-like state. It would look bad if the mayor walked in to discuss..whatever it was that was so important, and saw Red in the back sleeping. Red was thought of as mysterious and strange to most of the inhabitants of Never After, maybe even a little temperamental, but Red, for some reason couldn't bare the thought of making a fool of herself in front of the whole town.

Yawning, Red focused her attention on Jack. His pet chicken Henrietta always made her smile. She didn't think anything bad of her or the fact that they were a strange pair. She waved at Henrietta, sure she had noticed. The two always seemed so closely knit, Red wondered if that was what love was supposed to look like.

__________________________________________________ _____________________

Alice took her seat near Russ. If this meeting got too boring she was sure he would somehow make it more lively. He had a tendency of doing that. No matter where they were. He reminder Alice a lot of Hatter. Both mad and both mischievous at times.

"Maaayor, Mr. Maaaayor! Where aaare you?" Alice sang, drawing much of the attention of the room to herself. It was more of her nature than intentional outburst. She had a habit of doing the strangest things at the strangest times and she never knew why.

Tilting her head back, Alice looked up at the ceiling. She realized that it looked an awful lot like a huge clump of moss and decaying wood. "It's going to all collapse." Alice didn't know why she had said it, but something withing that kooky, crazy brain of hers knew that it had to be said. Most of the things Alice said was garbled rubbish. It was often difficult to tell the difference between her babble and her actual intelligible input. She hadn't realized it when she said it, but there was a reason Alice knew this information.

Beast sat quietly in the corner, the deep blue cloak blending slightly into the darkness, he watched people file in one by one and take their seats where they felt most comfortable. As each walked in he was reminded why where they lived was nothing of a fairy tale, how each of them had different quirks that made them different. He used to talk to most them often before he was moved to the outskirts of the town which made him more of a loner these recent years. The light from the town hall cast a shadow on the back wall faint, black on dark gray, but noticeable to those who looked hard at it. His shadow was not like most, it wasn't a human shadow, well it wasn't his in a way, it was the true Beasts, the shadow towering above him. The shadow moved as he did, but still seemed to have a mind of its own, its movements slightly off from his own as it lurked always there never leaving him, haunting his every move.

He turned his head and looked over noticing that some one had sat fairly close to him which caught his attention, it was more on instinct that he had noticed rather then on seeing or hearing them. He raised an eyebrow slightly noticing Aka sitting near to him and seemingly getting closer as he watched. He then turned his attention to others in the room, he noticed red barely conscious to his eyes in the back near him. As people filed in he shook his head slightly knowing that with all of them in the same room it could be slightly volatile since a few of them had temper issues.

Snow White would stand on her balcony looking up at the night sky. Her eyes would glance down when she notices a "lover" on the ground below. With a soft smile she would toss him a red rose that the kept on the balcony for these secert "lovers". He would catch it and then runs off before a guard came around the corner. With a soft sigh she would walk back into her room, closing the glass doors behind her. Her eyes would move towards her door when she hears a soft knock. "Come in" she says sitting on the love seat that was in her room. Her lady in waiting would come in, handing the young princess a note. Snow would open it, her eyes studying the paper. "A town meetting?" she says glancing up at her lady in waiting.

Her lady in waiting already read her mind, soon she was across the room with her ruby red cloak in hand. Standing up, Snow would take the cloak and places it over her shoulders. She would walk out the room, her heels tapping against the marble floors as she made her way down the grand staircase. She was able to hear the horses outside of the carriage that waited for her. She looks around for her younger sister, Rose but wasn't able to find her. Sighing softly, she would climb into the carriage and once the door was closed behind her it went into motion.

Soon Snow would approach the Town Hall, which was a giant old tree. Her eyes would peak out of the hood of the cloak as she steps out of the carriage. Thanking the driver she would walk threw the opens door soon greeted by everyone who lived in Never After. Her hand would slowly raise up, pulling back the hood of her cloak as her hair, dark as night, fell to her shoulders. Her eyes would look around until she notices her sister. With a soft smile, she would walk over, taking the seat beside her, which made her even closer to the Beast. "Why didn't you tell me we were having a town meeting..?" she says in her soft angelic voice towards her younger sister.

Red rolled her eyes as she watched Snow walk in and take a seat next to Aka and Beast. Was Snow completely oblivious to the fact that Aka hated her? Red couldn't say that she blamed her either. Snow was elegant and the fact that she was a princess shone through in everything she did. It was rather annoying. How could one person have that much light and happiness? It made Red nauseous. Red could feel her dainty light stretching and permeating the whole room like a blanket. She shivered and shrank further into the shadows, attempting to be in the light as little as possible.

The mayor couldn't come soon enough. Red wanted nothing more then to have this stupid gathering over. All the bubbly personalities in the same room as her made Red feel as if she was going to explode. Alice was no exception to that, either. Alice was so lost in her own world and oblivious that she wouldn't have the sence to realize if her house was on fire. What was wrong with some of these people? It was like they were being glitzy and dainty just to piss her off.

In an attempt to turn her mind away from all the other bodies in the room, Red plucked one of her daggers from her belt and twirled it around in her fingers. She would have been playing with her beautiful blood-stained axe, but that was a bit too large for some people's comfort. Holding the tip of the dagger between her forefinger and thumb, Red brought it back and with a quick release shot it through the air and into the wall nearest her. Red smiled darkly as some of the others looked at her in either horror or shock, Red could never really tell. Then again, Red never cared much for other people. She preferd to stay in the woods when she was awake. That combined with her being nocturnal caused her to be a tad antisocial.

Leaning forward to wretch her dagger from the wall, Red looked around the room one more time. There were a few people Red was slightly fond of, some had arrived and some had yet to. Red, however would never admit to the fact that she actually liked some of the quirky character that lived in Never After. Red leaned back, her dagger clutched in her hand. No, no one could ever know her true feelings. She had learned long ago to nover let your guard down. Even for something like love.

:Les:

Les smiled gently as he thought about it. It be be a site worth seeing if the Mayor got himself hit by Reta's trap. He seemed to have a habbit of getting himself into pranks whenever there was a meeting. It was the town's way of saying they were bored of him. There was even a time the Mayor had all his clothes colored bright pink. No one could stop laughing for days. Les had to admit that he enjoyed a talented prankster or two.

After a few moments he was off to the town meeting with his sister. He couldn't help but skip along in happiness. Whenever he was with his sister he became slightly immature and energetic. He was just filled to the core with joy and there was simply no way to hold it in. He opened the door for his sister before shortly following her inside and over to a good seat that was more up close to were the Mayor would stand. If another good prank happened today he didn't want to miss the action.

:Aka:

Aka shifted around until she was satisfied with her seat. She wasn't too close to the Beast but she didn't want to be. It wasn't that she disliked it but more of that they weren't close. Even though Aka would never admit it but she would like to be. She felt like they could become close. She had always wanted someone to understand her and ever since she first saw Beast, he seemed perfect. Maybe even a part of her wanted to be close to him. But in the end he didn't seem to share the same disire so she ended up locking her feelings in a cage. Everything was bottled deeply in Aka and it was the reason she snapped a year ago and killed some men. She would admit to not being very stable in areas.

Right as Snow got inside Aka attempt to hide herself with her very light pink top hat. She prayed not to be seen but Snow still sat right next to her. She could feel herself feel sickened by it. Why did her sister have to always be near her? How come she could be closer to Beast? The rage boiled within her but Aka didn't showed it. She had learned to perfect faking her emotions over years and years of constant judgement. Her tears and hate would probably hidden within even at the very end of her. It made her so mad that her sister could be so happy not not suffer with her. She wanted to bring her sister with her into darkness at moments like this, but in the end Aka couldn't even speak a word.

Sitting in the branches of the old willow tree, Peter pressed his back against the trunk. His eyes rested as his guitar played a single melody he had came up with for the town. His long, thing fingers strummed the guitar strings as he hummed along softly. Peter's foot tapped the branch he was position in for percussion, "Never after, dark and slow," he sang to himself in a rich voice, entranced with his own music, "Never knowing our fate, above or below," Peter's lips parted for a breath as his strumming continued, but his singing withered to an end, opening his eyes and staring down at his guitar strumming. The notes of his guitar echoed throughout the forest, below the others were beginning to swarm into the town hall meeting that the mayor had called. What was there to complain about? Nothing, or perhaps everything. Peter licked his lips as his dark eyes continued to scan the area. There was Red; the tormented soul who loved blood, so it seemed. As she walked and into the willow tree his strumming grew louder and heavier to symbolize her torment. Peter felt himself smirk at his notes, turning so that he was facing where everyone began entering.

Peter let himself float above everyone, continuing to play his guitar melody he had made up only at that moment. Guitar was his way to relax, let go of the past or to ignore the fact he was 21 and not just a boy anymore. At the thought, Peter's strumming became slower and more heartfelt, watching as Beast, Snow White, Red Rose, and multiple others gathered into the town hall meeting. He was always the first to get there, but the last to enter. He wasn't exactly sure why, he was just lazy. Plain and simple. He'd rather be barefoot and singing outside than talking about serious matter. Peter ran a hand through his red hair then continued to strum, his fingers already being raw. It was nothing new, he had no pick to play his guitar with. He wasn't a bad guy, he just loved his solitude. He never talked to anyone really, but loved to play pranks and no one would guess it was him because he was never around!

Peter laughed a little to himself and floated down from the branch, his bare feet being introduced to the soil below them. He took a deep breath and slowly made his way inside, still strumming along as he walked in between the chairs, not making any eye contact. Peter was an average man, however he refused to wear shoes and a shirt for other reasons and always had a guitar by his side. His faded red orange hair perfectly fit his paled face and pointed ears. His eyes were dark and he had a morose look about him as he walked through the middle towards the stage like area to sit down. There he sat, looking down at his guitar strings and strumming now a different melody, glancing at everyone's faces and making eye contact with everyone; his way of saying hello. Peter hadn't been the same after his dear friend Tink had vanished for a while and never returned. He figured she found other faeries, other friends... In that case, Peter never spoke much to anyone, but he did reply to other's who talked to him. If he liked them, of course. One person he couldn't stand was Beast. Just his whole aura was infuriating, and Peter refused to make peace with him.

Instead of being normal and sitting with everyone else, Peter had decided to sit in front of everyone and be the entertainment until the Mayor had came to make discussion. Peter's dark eyes closed slowly as his heartfelt music began to get more intense and finally ended, placing his guitar beside him to give his fingers a rest. He leaned back on his elbows and looked around to see the curves and indents of their town hall interior, loving nature himself; his forest green skinny jeans reflecting it entirely. The whole town seemed hostile towards each other, or at least towards one other person, but it didn't seem like that for Snow White at all. Honestly, Peter was a bit sheepish around her beauty. Her voice was that of an angels, but he never showed it. All females of Never After had their own charms and each one Peter couldn't talk to. Why, he'd be like the red man, red in the face from such beauty every girl had about them. Red, with her lust for darkness, Red Rose, with just her beauty alone, Rapunzel with her girlish long hair, Alice with her curious nature, Ariel with her beautiful tail, even Gretel! Hell, the males in this town had their own charms as well, especially the much lusted after Lucifer, the mayor... Peter paused in his thoughts and closed his eyes yet again, this time laying back on the wooden stage and staring up at the ceiling, not thinking anyone would try to have a conversation with him, not getting into his thoughts of the men here in Never After.

Alice's attention was ripped away from her insane internal dialog as she noticed Peter enter the Town "Hollow". She smiled silently to herself. Her own sence of humor always made her the happiest. No. Stay focused. Recently Alice was trying to stay on one subject for more than a few moments. She had yet to succeed, but Alice was stubborn and refused to give up.

Her thoughts back on track, Alice watched Peter. Everyone knew what a trickster he was. And his music always made Alice swoon. Well if she could stay sane long enough to hear one whole song. Peter was what some girls.. normal girls.. would call handsome or dreamy. Though Alice was far from normal, she was no exception. He had a sort of charm about him that was just impossible to not fall head over heels for.

Shaking her head slightly, Alice scolded herself. Everyone could see that Peter had a "thing" for Snow. "Fire is prettier than ice." It was another of Alice's outbursts. To anyone but herself it was completely unintelligible. It wasn't necessarily that Alice didn't like Snow, but it was just slightly annoying how she seemed to get every male's love and affection. Alice wonders if Snow even realized the way all the men of Never After looked at her. At first, even Alice herself was in a sort of trance. She thought Snow was the best thing since cake.

Oh! I want cake! Alice smiled to herself, completely forgetting what she had been thinking about only a moment before

Idly, Chesh watched as the towns people filed past him and into the 'town hall'. What a complete waste of time. He grinned as he noticed the barely contained violence that the hall reverberated with. When almost everyone in town hated everyone else, it was sure to be an interesting time to say the least. He shook his head when Alice made her random comment. He really hoped that people didn't think that he was from her fairy tale. His tale was of quite a different sort and rather dark.

Tossing the stick he had been turning over in his hands he vanished, only to reappear in front of where Beast was sitting. "Hello there, Beast." He smirked at the tense air between all of the other townsfolk in this area of the room. The potential for violence was so strong he could almost taste it. "Greetings, my ladies." He made a mocking bow and proceeded to sit down right in the middle of all of them, knowing he was doing nothing more than stirring up trouble.

Out in the middle of the lake, Ariel sat sunning herself on the small island that sat almost directly in the middle of the water. She enjoyed the quiet and the peace that she could only manage to find out here by herself. She hummed quietly to herself, her eyes closed and raised up to the sun. A splash alerted her that she was no longer alone and her eyes shot open, hostility radiating from them. In less than the blink of an eye she had a wickedly sharp trident in her hand and pointed towards where the sound had come from.

She put her trident and gave an exasperated sigh when she spotted the red crab who had frozen in place at the appearance of her weapon. "Oh Sebastian, how many times do I have to tell you to warn me before you approach?" The crab gave an audible gulp before reminding the princess that there was a meeting at the town hall. "Oh blast it, another one? What does that idiot want this time?" Shaking her head she dove into the water and swam towards the shore, emerging from the water covered in a shimmering blue dress that showed off her shapely legs where her tail had been just moments before. "Ok ok, I'm coming all ready." She set off towards town, arriving just after Peter had finished his song.

Shin growled in frustration as the sudden noise spooked all the game in the forest. Why of all days did they have to have a meeting? Giving up on hunting for the mean time he padded towards town, his black and purple fur alternatively blending and standing out in the forest as the sun hit him through the trees. When he had almost reached the town he paused for a moment. "Maybe I should change into my human form? Nah, might as well give them something to talk about." He gave a wolfish grin and trotted on into the town hall, sitting down right in the middle of the walkway, leaving just enough room to walk by him. His tongue rolled out of his mouth as he looked around the room, a look of amusement on his face.

Beast raised an eyebrow at Alice's comment wondering what it meant, she was often yelling random things, but in her head the made sense. He didn't even flinch when Chesh appeared in front of his face, he just smirked slightly, "Chesh... a pleasure to see you again." he chuckled, "You should stop by my humble abode more often." Beast had gotten slightly used to Chesh's random appearances, it never meant something good, and often it meant there was a possibility of over boiling emotions of violence which was what put Beast on edge the most. He watched Chesh sit next to him and shook his head slightly, if nothing else Chesh always gave him entertainment which was the next best thing to something Beast would call a friend. Beast looked over at the two that now sat on the other side of Chesh from him and smiled softly, the fated sisters, complete opposites and in a way very similar.

He watched people enter over and over, each one making him wonder what possibly could have happened for everyone to be called here together. He watched as people slowly started to interact with each other, each one jostling for position, it was weird almost like its own fairy tale, each one of them had their own personal tale, but when they got together it seemed to all become one huge fairytale all over agian.
