My lady's current troubles have prompted me to invite her to move in like every five seconds over the past few days. She's having a really hard time.

:lol: that sentance made me laugh. It reminded me of me and my crazy little group of friends in RL. I had a New Year's Eve party on Gaia with a bunch of them, and it got weird.....

I had fun while I could, though after page 2100 in the Countdown thread, I was totally gone. Today I got whisked off to a family thing and I did not enjoy it. My bratty cousin ruined my favorite pair of shoes (I had to buy this twice) & they're discontinued so I can't get replacements anymore. Not only that, he wouldn't leave me alone because I kept trying to play my DS but he even went so far as to crawl on my shoulders to see what I was doing. I ended up getting a migraine and I still have it.

Gotta love family.....

My girlfriends family is going nuts right now. Her mother slapped her brother today, and has been threatening suicide all week, so they called the cops, and had her taken to the emergency room. She flipped a bitch all over them about it, but was sweet as candy to the doctor, who of course fell for it, and now she's home, and threatening divorce, and There's nothing I can do to help with any of it. The brother is being sent to another state, and hopefully that will help. Also they're getting therapy for the whole problem, but I'm worried about that too. Ugh. Why can't life be easy for a while? Why does all this have to be happening now?

Damn, I'm sorry to hear that man. I hope things start looking better for you all and that the therapy works. Does your girl not want to move out of there and in with you? Sounds like a very poisonous place to be right now..

She's afraid of what might happen if she does. I want her to honestly, and I know I'm more supportive than her family, and she needs it right now. I'm just so... ugh. but my music is helping right now. So that's good.

Well, that is understandable, if it's a fragile situation at the moment. I guess all you can do is be there for her when she needs you and let her figure things out without pressuring her too much either way.
Music is pretty amazing like that, isn't it?

Morning. :) I got out of jury duty. They had only one trial today, and they needed a continuance, so we got let out. I don't have to worry about it for a year either. :)

That's awesome Saro. ^^ Jury duty sucks big time... I'm done with it for this yr too, because this didn't pick my #. Even if they did (which they did last yr) I just tell them I'm a full-time college student who can't take time off and than they drop my jury duty, no prob.

they did that for me once, but it was only postponed. Had to go in today. No trial though. :)

Sweet... we should have robots in control have Jury Duty... they can weigh the pros and cons of murderers without feeling sympathy or any emotional connection to the murderer or victim.

yeah, but then things like self defense, and insanity, and crimes of passion are all prosecuted as if they were cold blooded murder.

Mm, true that... but u could program it to understand self-defense, though it would never understand the concept of "a crime of passion." I never got why ppl murdered in the heat of the moment but I guess I'm not very emotional. If I kill someone its in cold blood fury.

Fury... doesn't work with cold blooded. lol.

I am okay. My parents' computer isn't working right so they have a laptop set up. I can only sit at it an hour before the pain gets too bad. I'm currently on a netbook in a Panera so I was able to check in but I can't catch up with everything.

See you. Sorry about the computer situation. I'm always on a big toshiba laptop. It has an HD screen and everything. Plus I got some super cheap headphones, that are comfortable, and give me awesome sound quality. :)
