Project Gilus

Person of Interest: Gilus, a merchant for Sven Void and his gang. Believed to be gathering materials and resources for the "Ultimate Weapon."
Importance: Suspect in John Doe's murder. Suspect in missing SX3 Federal Ship.
Relation to John Doe: Believed to be "spill-man," the one person Gilus could run to when he needed help or to vent.

Additional Details Leading Up to Case: Androw was meeting with John Doe to discuss the murder of his girlfriend. All his leads had finally pointed him out to that system and Androw finally had the courage to go check it out. It was shady but it had its merits so he went to the remote lab to visit the "man with the dark past." Androw and John Doe exchanged messages via ads in a Penny Saver. Eventually, they agreed to meet. Shortly after arriving, John Doe told Androw to hid in the wall. After that, John Doe became... well, John Doe the DB.

Notes from Androw on Situation: Believes John Doe was a psyhic. Man appeared to be thorough and took detailed notes on his interactions with Gilus. Likely Gilus' personal psychiatrist. John Doe seemed to know his place in this mix up with Void so he made sure he had an insurance policy--detailed records of Gilus' heinous crimes, of which could lead back to Void and his gang. Unfortunately, the data was dumped when John Doe suspected he had been compromised.

Crime Scene Evidence:
03:57:11 -- Numbers Androw recalled seeing. Upon writing it down, discovered it was a time. That time happened to correspond with the lab blowing up.
9871253255 -- Set of numbers that Androw had prior to the lab, which happened to match numbers found at the lab.
John Doe -- No finger prints (artificially removed), cause of death was blast to the heart, confirmed psychic
Evidences Brought Forth by Androw:
Void's Locations -- Mathoun, Caaple, Earth, Gith'rue, Quatt, Pazchum, and Illium
9871253255 -- Set of numbers found on Mathoun; also happened to be where his Shadow Broker resides (Androw doesn't have access to this planet as it's outside his doctoral jurisdiction)
John Doe -- Androw discovered 'freckling,' which is caused by injection treatments for the lethal yet curable (if you have money) disease Codanervectum. The disease affects 15% of the people and only 8% of that percentage can afford treatment.
Case on Mathoun: While on Mathoun, the crew will have two options presented before them. They do end up finding Gilus, as Androw's Shadow Broker has intel on Gilus' location. It's in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. Getting there is easy but there's no protection. Getting in is hard.
A -- An expert lockpick will be needed. If they get in, they will enter a side room that leads up to a balcony that perfectly overlooks Gilus and his thugs. They seem to be working on something. No, reading something. Their next mission. Gilus is waving what looks to be a rocket launcher, making it ideal to stay hidden. Unfortunately, the balcony they are on is anything but sturdy. One wrong step and the whole thing can come crashing down. To make it worse, it creaks like crazy. Only the lightest person should venture out on it to try to take images of the scene. The other should stay behind with gun loaded and ready. The balcony creaks/breaks. Gilus and his men launch an attack. Crew members retreat and tell Tasi (who stays behind on the ship) to bring it round to try to gather up Gilus.
i -- Tasi arrives with ship but has to decide between grabbing Gilus vs grabbing Issa. If she picks Gilus, Issa is taken. If she grabs Issa, Gilus goes into hiding.
ii -- Tasi does not arrive. Androw gets to show off his hand-to-hand combat skills with Gilus while Issa and Nathan keep the other thugs at bay. Androw ends up getting shanked, drops, and is about to get popped in the head. Issa or Nathan have two options:
1 -- Save Androw by killing Gilus.
2 -- Save Androw by throwing down [type of grenade] grenade. The explosion will cause Gilus to flee and he'll vanish. Androw will live.
B -- If no locker picker is nearby, they can get in through a back door that requires some skillful jimmying open. However, the door will close behind so someone will need to stay behind to ensure the crew can escape should shit hit the fan. This means they are now down a member of the team--there's no materials nearby to hold it open. When they get in, they will be in the cooling room, which happens to have vents that go underneath the floors. If they power down the cooling unit, they can crawl into the shafts and listen from below. This option has a major disadvantage--if something goes wrong, they are screwed. Luckily, they don't need to get too close to overhear everything. However, they will not have eyes nor can they snap a picture. Unfortunately, someone notices it's getting hot so they go back to the cooling room. See that the vents are open and that someone is standing at the door. Start telling. Gilus and his men are alarmed. They attack.

1 -- Save Androw by killing Gilus.
2 -- Save Androw by throwing down [type of grenade] grenade. The explosion will cause Gilus to flee and he'll vanish. Androw will live.
Project Gilus Ending:
Gilus -- Either dies or flees. There is no ending where he is taken alive (he will be back later).
Sven Void -- More intel is found that does link Gilus to Void. They find another planet to visit, Illium, one that Androw had previously mentioned. It appears that there may be a Void Gang Base on there. Based on conversation overheard, the Void Gang has some serious weapons that need to be taken out of play.
John Doe -- With mission over, Tasi informs the team that her search has discovered the identity of John Doe. His name is Zeke Hellmuth. She tells them that there's no need to run dental records as his notes regarding his disease Codanervectum stat that he's a psychic.
Notes About the Lab -- They find that it was indeed Gilus who rigged the place to blow. There are notes from someone called 'the Gypsy' who makes reference to blowing the place at a specific time. Intuition says that there is likely a reason for this so the crew will need to check the galaxy news for other huge events that happened at that time.
