I actually just woke up from a really crappy nap, and was checking a couple of sites, and the I saw the Easter announcement, and like... was really worried that it had started a week ago. BUT THIS WAS NOT TRUE.

Oh, the relief that flooded through me when I saw that it started today and that I only missed a couple of hours... Man, that was awesome.

Anyway. Basic hangout, basic rules, nothing fancy.

Well, earlier in the day was really good.

I took a shower, felt DANG confident (something I never do) and went to my sister's to do Easter dinner.

Then I came home and took a four hour nap, which I THOROUGHLY regretted. And now I'm on aim chatting it up with some friends.

Ladyumbra, you snuck up on me! Calamari isn't bad. It's a little rubbery, but I think it's something everyone should try once. I mostly use it because of my username. (Calamari is squid, if you were unaware)

I like to think that the nap was earned xD I had only gotten a couple hours of sleep, too.

Guys I am SO RELIEVED that I don't really care for most of the items. xD I hate having to buy them with gold. Since I am poor. But all of these are real pastel-y and girly. Which I am not. So I won't be buying many.

Ladyumbra, I tend to not like to buy expensive things, either. Especially if I don't know if I like it or not. The first time I had calamari, it was at a family dinner (At a restaurant though). My brother and I like to try ''weird'' foods together, so we got a plate and had some.

The Gaia event? Hah, I saw that it took 100 eggs to get the damn bunny scarf and I stopped right there. I seriously wish you could trade the eggs, I'd give mine to you in a heartbeat! This event is so much less stressful!

Actual easter day plans involve calling the family i refuse to travel to see. Consuming a small but pleasant amount of rum and stuffign my face filled with junk food ^-^ all in all indulgence and avoidance of depressants.

ladyumbra: I call those great plans! For all the holidays after June/July I will be doing the calling part myself.

I just went downstairs to get a drink of water and when I walked back up to my room my parents were there holding my Easter basket x) They were just like "uhhhh, we're going to put this here, but I know you're going to look through it as soon as we leave" so they handed it to me. I sort of miss the days of the Easter Bunny sometimes; it was nice to be a kid.

Yeah, I'm not really posting on Gaia. Just mindlessly collecting eggs while I do other things.

I wish there were an easier way to do it. Or that the eggs you had already collected counted towards you current goal, you know? Like, after you get the carrot, you only need fifteen more for the ducky scarf. And after you get that, you only need seventy-five more to get the bunny scarf. And after you get that, you only need ... three hundred seventy-five to get those God awful slippers.

It'd make things just a bit easier.

Last year, I made baskets for my brother, his girlfriend and their son and my sister and her boyfriend.

I didn't do that this year. No baskets from (or for) me.

But, Monday, my new external is due to arrive, and that's better than some silly old basket any day. When I was a kid, my mom would ALWAYS hide in the bath tub.
