Do you think it exists?

The land of Ka'reth is a large, lush continent. At least, half of it is, as if someone had drawn a line down the direct center of the continent, lush greenery meets dry sand in perfect symmetry. Half of Ka'reth is nothing but a desert, the only things that live out there are desert dwelling animals as the desert is deemed to inhospitable for anything other than desert born animals to live there. There is only one oasis in the desert. A large one, and it is the heart of the lost city.

A city that no one really believes existed or exists. A city that allegedly stood in the very center of the desert, a city that was very large and very green within it's walls while surrounded outside by the desert. Essentially a large, inhabited oasis of sorts. This city has only ever been seen once, the only accounts of that city ever existing is all hearsay from a few elders. Thus the inhabitants of the lush, green half of Ka'reth rarely venture into the desert. The king of Ka'reth who only really rules the green half, has claimed that the city at the center of Mo'sheh'ka, for that is the desert's name, does not exist at all. The king and other inhabitants of the lush side of Ka'reth have taken to calling the green kingdom, Ne'shu'ka

There are many capital cities of Ka'reth, but the royal family rules over that entire half of the continent. Their kingdom is Ne'shu'ka. For the most part the royal family rules with evenhanded firmness, but there are still some faults in the royal family. Greed and vanity being the contributors to most of the problems or unfairness in the way the royals may decide to treat their subjects. In Ne'shu'ka there are still people who believe in the lost city. A city whose true name has been forgotten, but is sometimes called Mo'len'ka. There are some people who call themselves Adventurers and go out, seeking this lost city of fables. Few ever return from the desert and those that do are often mentally incapacitated from the prolonged exposure to the desert's climate.

Lately, in the royal capital of Ne'mi'ka new stories have begun circulating about the city Mo'len'ka. A wanderer who has only arrived in the royal capital seems to be at the center of these new tales. This man speaks of lush grass, greener than any ever seen on Ka'reth inside the walls of Mo'len'ka. He speaks of women more beautiful and fairer than the fairest maiden in all of Ka'reth. This wanderer tells tales of warrior maidens who protect the lost city from dragons and dragon-kin. He spins tales of the warrior men, who are the strongest and most bravest men alive. This strange wanderer tells tales of Mo'len'ka's royal family. A king who is the kindest and wisest in all the land. A generous queen who can heal wounds with a single thought. A valiant prince who tromps daily with the people of his city and teaches the young to hunt. A soft spoken princess who is so kind that even the fiercest of beasts become placid and gentle in her presence.

Last but not least, this wanderer will tell of the exiled prince. A brave man, the heir to the seat of Mo'len'ka who has now lost his birthright. This wanderer would tell how that prince had incurred the wrath of his father. An idea, a simple one. Ne'shu'ka should be made aware of the existence of Mo'len'ka. An idea that was quickly turned away. Ne'shu'ka was a violent country, it could not be trusted. The cities of Ne'shu'ka, the king believed, would crush Mo'len'ka and take what little treasures it did have for themselves. It was out of necessity and safety that the king would not open negotiations or alert the lush land of his cities presence. The exiled prince argued for days with his father until finally the king could take no more. His son would not listen, would not obey him. How could such an unruly child be a good ruler? With a heavy heart and is wife weeping beside him, his daughter weeping in his wife's arms and his younger son staring on impassively, the king exiled his elder son. The crown would not pass to the first prince. It would pass to the second son.

The wanderer would tell how the exiled prince accepted his punishment, saying before he left his father's sight, that he would return and the rest of Ka'reth would know of the lost city's existence. Now the wandering story teller would smile and wink to those listening. Telling of how the exiled prince had crossed the desert, slaying dragons and other ferocious beasts that only lived in a desert, then the wanderer would speak vaguely of where the exiled prince might be now. Hinting that he could possibly be in the royal capital, or even already in the royal palace, speaking to the king of Ne'shu'ka.

Are you going to find it?

----------

Creatures:
Only dragons, sand worms and anything that could be considered dragon kin live in the desert. They very rarely leave the desert and thus the people that live in Ne'shu'ka believe those desert dwelling creatures to be myth, just as the lost city. Except maybe dragons. Occasionally a dragon might fly over one of the cities located near the border of the desert. And yes. if you want to play a dragon you may play a dragon.

Races:
You can make up your own races. Desert dwelling or not. I only ask that there be no vampires please. Primarily the race Ka'reth is human, however, most the humans have mingled with other human-looking races, so even if you play a human, you still have at least some other race's blood in you. Everyone can use magic, to a point. Those with more human blood in their veins are not as good at magic as those without. I ask that you don't over do the magic using thing. For the most part, I'll let you be the judge of that, but if I see things getting out of hand I will politely inform you and ask that things be changed a little.

Characters:
*No Godmodding. Keep it pg13. Romance and pairings of all types and kinds are welcome.*

*Your character(s) eye color cannot be gold. As that is only exclusively available to those from Mo'len'ka. Everyone from Mo'len'ka has gold colored eyes. Other than gold your character's eyes can look however you want them to.*

Profiles are not required, however I will post a profile for my character. Your character(s) may be from the lost city but you must PM me about that for approval because only a select number can be. When the story actually moves closer to finding the lost city I will let more players or new players make characters from the lost city.

As things stand right now. No one can play as the royal family of Mo'len'ka. All positions of the royal family of Ne'shu'ka are open. These positions are:
King:
Queen:
Princess
: (The princess is older than the crown prince, however, only a male can rule and so the prince is heir to the throne. Unless of course your character can get the king to change his mind about such a silly rule.)
Prince:

Settings:
The setting will start in the royal capital Ne'mi'ka. The royal capital is a very large city, with a very large bustling outdoor marketplace. The royal palace stands in the middle of the city, essentially surrounding itself with the market place. Slavery is legal in the royal capital and most cities of Ne'shu'ka. Slavery is frowned upon in Mo'len'ka (but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.) There is a large slave market within the outdoor marketplace of Ne'mi'ka.

*Feel free to make up other names for the other cities if you wish to travel to them. Just pm them to me and I'll make a list somewhere over here of all the city names.

If there are any questions feel free to PM me..if you are confused about anything or feel I should add something or that I've left out something just let me know and I'll try to fix it.

----------

My profile. (profiles aren't necessary though. I just like to make them. n.n)

Name: Klia Amasa Rynx
Title: Exiled Prince
Age: 23
Race: Unidentifiable. The human blood of his first ancestors has since been mingled with so many other humanoid creatures that Klia's family cannot trace their actual race. Their blood is too muddled.
Place of birth: Mo'len'ka
Magic: Klia is a rare case. He can use magic, but any spell he tries to perform always goes wrong. Sometimes the results are dangerous. Any magic used on him often makes him sick to his stomach for a while, no matter what kind of magic it is.
Other: Klia was exiled, and his title of crown prince and heir apparent was stripped from him. Determined though, that he was right, he has ventured across the desert and to the royal capital of Ne'mi'ka. In the disguise of a wandering story teller, he spreads tales of his city. Hoping to spur the spark of adventure in people, and hoping to expose his land with the hope that his city and the rest of Ne'shu'ka can become allies.
Appearance:

Starting Post:
Klia had just finished telling a wonderful story of how the Valiant Prince of Mo'len'ka saved a lovely village maiden from a very nasty desert dragon. Now that the crowd around him was beginning to disperse, he stood from the edge of the well he had been sitting on and stretched. His desert robes were pulled closed tight against him. Hiding his fine clothing and the sword at his waist, the hood of his desert robes were up, and it effectively hid his face in it's shadow. Hiding his golden eyes. Eyes that color were only seen in Mo'len'ka anyway. Klia was careful to only draw attention to himself as a harmless, wandering storyteller. He could tell that most dismissed his tales and nothing but legend. However, sometimes, in the younger listeners he could see a spark. Even if they thought his stories untrue, he could tell some of them wanted to venture out to the desert and have a look for themselves. Well, at least he had earned some coins for his story telling. He could buy some fruit with those coins.

The fruit here..it was delicious. Though he longed for the desert fruits of his own home. The lush food here was different than what he was used to, but he found that most of it tasted rather good. However, it did seem to make him think of home and long for it, as he often found himself comparing the tastes of these foods with the foods of his home. Klia stretched again.

Name: Yarran
Age: 24
Race: Ahavi
Birthplace: The colonies near the desert.
Other: Yarran was born into a colony of gypsies, so he is very acrobatic and very flexible. He uses these traits to earn money in the city. Yarran wears many earrings in his ears, as most gypsies in the colonies do. None of them match and he has a story for all 26 pieces.
Appearance: Yarran has a long, black 'lemur-like' tail, white horns, and pointed ears. He has orange-brown eyes and stark white hair. He is very tall, roughly 6'4". His skin is tan from being so close to the desert and spending a lot of time playing in the sands near his home.

Name: Kiora
Age: 20
Race: Ahavi
Birthplace: The Colonies near the desert.
Other: Kiora was also raised as an acrobat. She performs with Yarran and a few other gypsies in the city, but she spends most of her time trailing after Yarran. Kiora rarely makes eye contact with men and avoids females outside of her colony like the plague. Like Yarran, she wears many earrings in her ears. All of them are mismatched.
Appearance: Kiora has a long, brownish red lemur tail, black horns(which curl under themselves, much like a ram's and unlike Yarran's) and pointed ears. She has pale blue eyes and black hair. She is much shorter than Yarran, standing only 5'4".

Entrance post:

So far that day, the crowds had been good in the market. Yarran and his companions twisted about, danced around, and flipped over each other for the entertainment of the people in the market. His long white hair hung free that day, only a stray braid or two running through it. His orange-ish eyes darted about as he twisted backwards and pushed himself up to balance on his hands and a wide grin split his face when he heard more coins hit the hat that had been laid upon the ground near them. Yarran brought his feet down to touch the ground once more and straightened up. He wriggled his shoulder to right the one leather pauldron he wore.(He didn't have a second. That one was the other one he could find). He smoothed over his brown linen shirt and gave a dramatic bow as the crowd dispersed. Yes, they had done well that day.

His long black tail, a trait typical of the border dwelling Ahavis, unwrapped from around his waist and swayed lazily behind him. Stopping down, Yarran collected his hat and went to the gypsy holding a drum. The two men began to count what they had made.

Dancing was a passion. It truly was. And getting to dance for a living was a dream come true.

Kiora, an Ahavi gypsy like the others, danced and twisted, and flipped about for the crowd of shoppers all morning. She didn't see such a thing as work. She was just having fun and the coins were a perk. Her small frame was agile and quick and she was able to twist into the more difficult poses that Yarran or the others were too big for.

When they were finished, Kiora remained, for a moment on her hands, until she heard Yarran pick up the hat. She came down slowly, her own reddish brown tail uncurling from around her waist. Her silky black hair was wrapped up in a tight bun, her bangs, though, flying free. She scritched at the base of her black horns as she waited for a total from the two men. Her pale eyes swept the market place for anything interesting.

Klia passed by the gypsy's on his way to a merchant selling front. Flicking one of his own coins towards the hat, as the two men were already counting it. The coin sailed high into the air, arcing to come down right in the center of the hat. Pulling his robes tighter about his body he moved on to that merchant. Klia had been in the royal capital for only two days now. He had been out of his home in the desert for what seemed like an eternity to him, it had only really been a year. Most of that time he had spent, spinning tales and traveling to get here, the royal capital. Clearing his throat softly, he purchesed a nice sized, light blue melon.

Once his purchase was made. Klia began to move back the way he had come. As if going back to where he had sat to tell his stories..and he was. Only now, he would sit there and munch on this melon.

Name: Miel
Age: 21
Race: A'ri La'ii
Appearance: Like most of the A'ri La'ii, Miel has pale features. Her long, straight hair is the color of sand and her unblemished skin looks as though it is untouched by the sun. None of the A'ri La'ii, although desert people, have darker skin nor do they tan. They all have two tone eyes, Miel's being purple and silver. She is tall and skinny, being 5'10".
Abilities: A'ri La'ii can lengthen their nails, creating razor sharp blades. They are lightening fast and hard to catch.
Occupation: They often hired as bodyguards or if caught sold as slaves.
_________________________________
Starting Post:

Miel entered the royal capital. She didn't want to attract too much attention, too many of her people have been caught as slaves. She was in the capital in order to try and hunt down the slave traders. Letting out a sigh, she wished that they were still in the days where the Ar'i La'ii were considered to be a race if myth. They'd only travel to the cities to earn money to buy the things they couldn't find in the desert.

Miel had a light weight traveling cloak hiding her face and body. It helped her blend into the crowd. She made her way to the marketplace. She needed to try and sell some gems of the desert. The Ar'i La'ii rarely sold them, but they were in dire times. After selling them, she bought a piece of fruit from one of the many vendors. Biting down on it, juice flowed down from her mouth. She wasn't used to having fruit like this. It tasted good, but it wasn't like the ones from her home.

She stopped to eat the fruit, watching a group of gypsies. They were interesting to watch, their music pleasing to her ears. Watching and listening to the different people in the marketplaces was always a good place to learn important information. People usually forgot that they couldn't have private conversations in busy noisy places such as the marketplace.

Yarran jumped lightly when the coin hit the hat. He turned to see whom it had come from and nodded politely to the only person he saw. He turned again and finished counting. The two males divided the sums up between several small pouches and gave one to each of the gypsies. After conversing for just a few moments, Yarran turned away, bent forward and pushed himself up to balance on his hands. He linked tails with Kiora and the two headed for off to find a baker.

Kiora secured the pouch to her belt and kept a hand on it as she walked with Yarran. She glanced to his tail when it mingled with hers, but she thought nothing of it. It was only to keep Yarran from wandering off by accident. Kiora noticed the two hooded figures as they left and made sure to keep her eyes down. She was always weary in the city. Slave traders were vicious people and they were the last people she wanted to meet.

Klia munched lightly on his fruit, his golden eyes sweeping this way and that as he watched. He too was wary of slave traders, though as long as they believed him to be nothing but a story teller, he would be alright. Klia told his stories for two reasons. To capture the interest of people who might be willing to venture forth into the desert, and to somehow catch the ears and interest of the royal family. He glanced towards the palace at the city's center and sighed softly. He wouldn't give up.

That intense gaze swept over the marketplace. Watching for a moment as two of the gypsy's wandered away, their tails entwined. It brought a soft smile to his lips, then he tilted his head back some and looked up at the sky. It was a hot day, but nothing compared to the heat he was used to in the desert. To him the climate felt moderately cool. Finishing his fruit quickly, Klia cleared his throat and began talking. Weaving another tale, this story was the one about the heavy hearted king who turned his son away.

Some people stopped to listen, eager children, interested old people, and some adventurous looking young adults. A lot of people passed by, it didn't matter though..Klia was just biding his time really.

Miel watched the gypsies leave, slightly disappointed. They provided enjoyable entertainment. She shifted her attention to a man telling stories not far down from her. She moved to watch and listen from a better spot. She stood casually, when in reality she was watching the crowd for any danger. Slave traders were always on the look out for unwary people.

Miel pulled her hood down, wanting to be able to listen to the story better, revealing her pale hair and two-toned eyes. With her hood down, she was fairly easy to be identified for being an Ar'i La'ii. A part of her wanted to be approached by a slave trader, then she could find some of those who caught some of her people. She had been forbidden to do this by her father, the chief of their tribe, but she never was one for following orders.

She listened to the man's story contently, it was a good tale. She couldn't tell if it was true or not, but unconsciously she closed her eyes to listen to it. When she opened them, a man stood by her, looking at her curiously.
"You like this story? I can take you somewhere where there are many story tellers," he offered her. He must be a slaver, she thought. She gave him a nod and began to follow him. She was glad for the long sleeved of her cloak, her nails already extended to protect herself when she needed to.

Klia for all purposes looked as if he were completely engrossed in telling his tale. He was animated when he needed to be, and serious and solemn when the story called for it. However, he always watched the crowd that listened to his stories. This crowd had been small, and it wasn't long, as he told his tale, that he caught sight of the Ar'i La'ii girl. Odd, he thought. Wondering if this girl knew what become of most of her kind in this city. He was just ending his story when the girl began to leave with a man.

Klia could not stand by and let this girl be turned into a slave. His story was over and the crowd was dispersing. A few coins had been tossed his way, and he gathered them quickly before dashing off after the Ar'i La'ii girl and the man she followed. He caught up to them easily, grabbing the girl gently by the wrist and pulling her back so that he stood between her and the man. His hood was still up, effectively hiding his golden eyes from the slaver. He cleared his throat, and let his robe open a bit, showing the hilt of his sword.

"Where were you taking my woman?" Klia's voice sounded strange in his own ears. Low and dark and possessive when he spoke the word 'woman'.

Miel started to follow the slaver down an alley. She was startled when she was grabbed by someone and pulled away from the slave trader. She became surprised when she recognized the storyteller's voice in front of her. She had seen a hilt of a sword when she was pulled behind the man. She knew then that the slaver would run. Slaver were known for taking advantage of harmless looking women, but would in most instances would never engage in direct combat with a man. As predicted, the slaver saw the sword and ran. He may try again later, making a sort of cowardly move. Miel would have to be on alert.

"Coward," she muttered at the man's retreating back.

She moved in front of the man, staying close. "Why? Why did you do that?" she asked him quietly. Some people had begun to notice their little interact and were watching. Miel was uncomfortable with that. She pulled part of her cloak up to cover her hair, it made her blend in more. She tried to get a better look at the storyteller, but his hood prevented that.

Klia sighed in relief when the slaver ran off. Glad that a fight had been avoided, as that would have drawn even more attention. He pulled his robe closed around him again, hiding that sword once more. When the girl stepped in front of him, he reached up and tugged his hood down over his eyes a little further, just to make sure his features remained hidden. "You were in danger." His voice no longer held that edge to it, when he had spoken to the slaver. It was back to it's normal light tone. He shook his head slightly, "That man, he would have done horrible things to you and then sold you off as a slave. Your people, are exotic to these people. It would be a delicacy for one of them to have you as an obedient pet." The way he spoke, it was almost clear that he frowned upon slavery.

Yarran had since made it to his feet once more. After shedding his gloves used to walk on his hands, the two gypsies found a cart selling baked goods. Between them, they bought an entire loaf of bread with cheese baked into it. Yarran seemed concerned about nothing but the bread in his hand, though he still ate respectfully and quietly.

Kiora was another story. She had seen the slaver lead the girl away and the man that followed them. Nibbling carefully on her piece of bread, she watched them. She seemed to relax, though, when the slaver ran off. Unable to help herself, she watched them still as she nibbled.

Miel was shocked by the concern the storyteller showed, not many cared what happened to those sold into slavery. For most occupants of the capital city, slavery was just a part of life. For the desert people, it was hated and scorned upon. "I know what I was getting myself into. I wanted to try and find those who were after my people, to help them," she told him. She was surprised to hear why her people were being sold into slavery. That had never occurred to her. "Why do you hide your face?" she asked when she noticed him trying to pull his hood lower. It was a curious thing to do, but then again there were some that wanted to stay hidden. Covering some features can make one invisible in a crowd, like her covering her hair.

Klia shook his head lightly. "You would most surely have been beaten and sold into slavery yourself if you were caught helping the slaves." He had stated that rather solemnly. Shifting slightly on his feet and taking a single step back when she asked him why he hid beneath his hood. "To keep unwanted attention away from me, of course. You should do the same..It would be safer for you." He swept his gaze over the area, noticing the female gypsy watching them.

Miel refused to hear what he was saying. Her father had said the same to her. "I would have been fine. I can protect myself and them," she said quietly. It was the same thing she had told her father. Even after what had just happened, Miel still wanted to go after the slaver, but she had a feeling this mysterious storyteller would do his best to stop her. As he took a step back, Miel considered what he said to her. She did hide what she was most of the time. It was only when she needed to did she ever show her true self in public. In the desert, she went without a cloak, she had no need for one. There no one could catch her. "You don't tire of it, hiding who you are?" she asked him. It was more rhetorical and she had a feeling she knew what he was going to say.

"You would have been out numbered.." Beneath his hood Klia was frowning just slightly, he couldn't fault the girl for wanting to help her own people though. He understood...He wished there was a way to free all the slaves, but in this kingdom, so different than his own, it was just a natural part of life. His frown turned to a light smile and he shook his head at her again. "No..I do not hide who I am. I only hide what I look like. My physical features do not determine who I am, they only make me a target for the slavers because they make me an exotic commodity to be coveted. My actions show clearly who I am. I am a story teller. I am a man of honor. I am a wanderer. I am a man of action. These are the things that determine who I am..These are things that I do not hide, because I do not hide who I am..I only hide my physical appearance."

Miel knew that he was right about he being outnumbered. She had known that before choosing to do this foolish errand, but she had been determined to try. Now she figured that she would need to find a plan. She would have to figure out a way to free her people before taking on the slavers, then it would be a fair fight. All Ar'i La'ii learned to fight. They had to, living in the desert. The one thing stopping them from fighting against the slavers was their allergy to bronze. How someone outside the Ar'i La'ii found out, none of them knew, but it made them vulnerable to their enemies.

Miel was taken aback by what the storyteller told her. The things he said were correct, an appearance did not make a person, except to maybe a slaver. They were all about how one looked. "You are right, maybe I should think before I act," she admitted to him, giving a small smile. She didn't know why he hid all of his appearance, but was glad that she could simply hide her hair. Her eyes were less noticeable until one was close up.

"Hasty actions often lead to failure.." He said the words a bit sadly, but that sadness seemed gone almost as quickly as it had appeared in his voice. "Perhaps you could send petitions to the king? I do not know how he would react to such things, but from what I have learned in the few days I have been in this city, the king is a just and fair man...except, perhaps for the slavery." A slight shrug and he was frowning just a bit beneath his hood. "However, there are those that actually enjoy being a slave. For some people it has given their previously useless life a form of use. It is sad, but it is truth. Remember that before you begin to open slave cages, there are some slaves that would refuse your help and turn the attention of the slavers to you."

Miel looked at the hooded storyteller, she couldn't see his face, but she thought that she had heard a hint of sadness in his voice there for a moment. She gave a bitter laugh at his suggestion. "The king here cares not for slaves. I've heard he owns them," she replied, lowering her voice. Loudly speaking ill of the king was never good here. Miel had learned that in a previous trip to the capital. While he was not her king, she still would get into trouble over insulting him. And she had heard he was easily insulted. "My people would never want to be slaves, we all have a strong calling for our own people. Even if they prefer it, not one would dare hand me over to slavery," she said confidently. She wouldn't explain why she felt this way, it would reveal too much about herself. The man would probably think she was foolish and naive for thinking this, but she didn't care. There was a strong loyalty in her people.

"Even if your own enslaved people were not the ones to call attention to you, some of the other slaves might. This kingdom takes it's own people as slaves, and some of them do not wish for freedom. Those that were born into slavery know no other life and would be too afraid of freedom to welcome it. It is very sad, but there is not much that can be done about it." Klia had shifted on his feet slightly. "But, that does not mean that you should not try, it only means that when trying you should be extremely careful and extremely rational. Everything, every move, must be thought out and planned carefully." His gaze was intense and sincere, though hidden by the shadow of his hood, for a moment he glanced around. Most of the people that had stopped earlier to watch them, had moved on. Klia's eyes settled on the two gypsy's again.

"Yes..." she said trailing off. So much for her great plan. The whole slavery issue was getting more and more complicated. She would have to take more time to figure things out. She was almost tempted to ask for his help, but decided against it. She didn't need to drag him into this. He seemed to have his own problems.

When he looked around, she felt a little skiddish. She had almost forgotten about the slaver. She looked around nervously, trying to spot him. While she didn't see him or any others, she did notice the gypsies that she had been watching earlier were back, looking at them.

"That man is gone, but you should be very careful. He may come back for you and he may bring many of his comrades with him." Klia did not like the idea of leaving this girl alone, she wanted to fight the slavers and he had a sinking feeling that if he left her, she would only end up getting into trouble. He frowned some beneath his hood. Klia was not sure what should be done in this situation. "I trust you will be very careful and keep a close eye behind you." He bowed his head slightly. "May the sun always light thine path." Now Klia turned away.

For a few moments it would seem like he headed toward the gypsies, but really he was only going towards the bread cart. Some fresh bread would be nice. Those carefully hidden eyes did watch the gypsies as he passed by them. Mostly he was looking at their tails, he liked their tails. At the cart, he quietly purchased only half a loaf of bread. It would be enough.

Yarran hadn't noticed anything, even by the time he finished his bread. He went, then and bought the two each a cup of cider. Bringing them back, he gave one to Kiora and drank the other one down.

Kiora nibbled on the bread until she noticed that she two spotted her watching them. She gasped lightly and her eyes immediately went to the ground. They remained there until she was given the cup. Keeping her eyes down, she sipped at the cider while finishing the bread.

Miel watched the storyteller walk away from her with mixed feelings. She had enjoyed talking to him frankly. She normally had trouble speaking to people in the capital due to them talking in a very round about manner. Desert people usually got to the point and would be willing to tell you both the good and the bad. She also like being in his company, even for the short while she had been with him. She didn't like being alone.

She watched him go, while keeping an eye on the gypsies. They were interesting to her, always catching her eye when they were around. They were one of her favorite things to see when in the capital. She noticed one of them noticed her watching them. She slowly approached them, not wanting to startle them. She didn't want them to think she was upset, she was only curious about them.

Name: Hunter Arkana
Age: 17
Race: Human like - but heavy magic users. ((Un-known))
Place of birth: Some where amongst the desert's sand dunes.
Magic: High level magics are his profession, even an obsession.
Other: Hunter is a very high level magic user, he use travels the cities making a pretty penny working for the rich and glamorous. He had found permanent residence in a town in which he fell in love with one of its residents. His love interest suddenly got ill and Hunter did not possess enough magic know how - and skill - to save the love interest. Since then Hunter has given up on love and now seeks the ultimate knowledge of all things magic - in order to resurrect the one he loves. When he went to a rich woman in need of help for such a task a bounty had been placed upon his head. Now, he is goal-less. Giving up on his love interest (he was in love at 13 years old) he has no true goal in life, but is more then willing to help someone else reach their goal. Maybe then he can share in the satisfaction of completing something.
Appearance:

~~~ Starting Post ~~~
Hunter shook the sand off of his clothes, whilst running his fingers down the side of the building. On the move once more he made many turns, completely randomly. Hunter had grown weary of always moving, always walking, he just walked and walked. It was sickening after a while. "What a cruel world, sand storms throughout the days and chilly nights." Hunter smiled at the woman who had passed him, watching as her child grabbed her leg and pulled herself closer. "I did not imagine I would be a very fear inspiring thing in these streets." Hunter laughed, out of all the nasty creatures he has seen in the city - he was considered scary. He barely looked male at that, more womanly then he use to look. He preferred it this way though, when people asked his gender it made him feel important even for a moment. When they asked, no matter how rude, it let Hunter speak to another being. Disgusting or not.
Turning a corner he let himself slide down the wall. Closing his eyes he tilted his head towards the sky. Bright sun shining down on him, though he didn't tan very well. Or all, for that matter. Opening his eyes he sighed and smiled, a strange combination of his. Glistening light bounced of something, and caught his eye. "Gypsies..." He was not sure if the gypsies had anything to reflect light, nor did he care. Gypsies were fun, stories and such made them more interesting then the other beasts he had found on the streets of the capital. Not to mention that damned, untamed desert. Approaching the gypsies he was cautious, not sure if they were friendly or not. He had been attacked by them once before, of course, stealing their bread may have sparked some kind of hate in them.
He turned his head to some girl, she also approached the gypsies slowly. Had they attacked her too? Its a sad day when dancers draw blades at you - sad indeed. "Hello their."
((The girl he refers too is Miel.
I hope its okay as I just popped in - I assumed it was how it works as all did it. Sorry If I was wrong. I also left my speech black as I am not sure which color to use that will not be mistaken for any of yours.))
][ Heh you're fine Smores and welcome to the rp. If you want to use a color for your dialogue you can use whatever color you like. I'm sure no one will get mad if you happen to like using a color that they also like using.][
Klia had his purchase of bread firmly in hand when he turned from the cart. He was quick to notice that the girl he had been speaking to prior was approaching the gypsies, those hidden gold eyes were even quicker to notice the youth that approached the girl. For now, though Klia would only observe. Stepping to the side and somewhat away from the bread cart so his presence did not hinder or disrupt the business, he stood breaking off a piece of his bread and nibbling at it rather daintily. Even as he nibbled his bread, Klia was careful to make sure that any movement of his head did not cause his hood to fall away. Occasionally he would glance to the gypsies, but mostly he kept his eyes on the girl.
