...I remember Gaia once letting guest post.
I remember their avatar being the grey shadow... and the username is guest or was it annonymous... DX

I just don't think they knew any better and it was not a very good site, they advertised as being an avatar site and that was back in July or something of last year and they have still not gotten an avatar base.
For a long time there was no updates or anything on it and they would continuously break the deadlines that they set for themselves (publicly). It was a real shambels.

Haha, now I know who you're talking about :lol: The place that hadn't set any reCAPTCHA measures up either and had a newbie forum full of pages and pages of porn bots :XD

Yuppers, I just didn't want to mention the site name because I thought it would be unfair. I tried joining there before that happened and bleh I left after a week and then went back to have a looksie around and it was almost exactly the same as when I left it cept there were bots everywhere. It was the first failed site I ever saw.

Didn't Roliana once upon a time used to have some sort of marketplace? Not a forum, but uh...well you know what I mean. ><

Well, I can't figure out a way to let them know that my account isn't activated. They never re-sent the activation notice. I can't try another username, because they go by the email.

If somebody here could contact them and ask them to re-send the activation to username Jeannesha?

The thread I posted in didn't say anything about sending another activation e-mail. It just said they'd manually activate it for you. Anyway, I posted your username in there and told them what is going on.

It's kind of silly though. I mean, how are you to post there yourself to inquire about it? :/

edit; apparently, you're either using a different name or you didn't fully sign up. I inquired about the username Jeannesha, and they said there is no such username in their database.

There is no such account with that username, she would need to try signing up again and she can use the same username as it would seem she didn’t complete the full process the first time.

That's really strange, because when I tried to do the signup again, it said that my email was already used.

Maybe it timed out... that was a couple of weeks ago.

I just did it all the same (I know it was the same, cuz my browser "prompted" me with the blanks.)

It seems to have taken it. Two weeks ago it rejected it saying the email address was used. I think that it must have re-set.

I used to be on Roliana, but I came with a wave of people who had seen an add on TekTek, and all the "Old" members were complaining that all the new Gaians were ruining the site because they posted like idiot n00bs.

In my intro post, I mentioned that I had come because of the ad, and people were pretty rude. =/

So I haven't been back. I had to deactivate my account because I keep getting mail from them, and there was no option to not receive admin mail.

What I don't like about that site, is the trading. It's been down since like...it started it seems. You think they would have fixed that long ago.

While I do like Roliana, because I met some really nice people there when it was new, I dislike the time it takes to fix bugs and some of the staff is really rude/snotty/just mean. Some of the the answers I read from some staff is just :O
