The Story

The world is changing, it's not like it used to be, where beasts and creatures could roam free without being hunted down and slaughtered. Magic has all but vanished, the Faries and Elves have left the forests. Ogers, Trolls and Dwarves have all but become extinct. Why? Because of the Hunters. They believe the era of beast and magic is coming to an end, the era of man and equality is about to begin. They have been on this path for centuries, now only two main groups still remain in their way. The Vampires and Werewolves who havee been around for centuries themselves, and who are the strongest in numbers. They begin to hatch a plan, the Wolves are a ferocious breed, but they are not quite as crafty and harder to distinguish as the Vampires are, so the Vampires must go first. They enlist the Wolves help, under the pretense that they are getting rid of a common enemy, and then the Wolves will get back their land and be able to live in peace. What they do not know, is the plan of the Hunters, that once the Vampires are out of the way, the Wolves are next. They devise a plan to take out the oldest living houses of Vampires still left. The race looks up to their elder clans dearly for support, hope and wisdom. When three of the main four houses begin to fall however, the people begin to panic. What is going on, and what will happen to them? Only one house remains, and all eyes are on it, to see how it will deal with the coming threat that approaches of two of its' mortal enemies. Will they be able to handle it? Or will the Vampire race finally fall? And if they do, what happens to the Wolves? Will they find out about the Hunter's hidden plans? Or become just another victim?

Vampire Abilities:

Quote:
Improved Strength and Speed: (All)
Vampires possess strength and speed much higher than that of a human, complete with incomparable grace, a different sort than the animalistic fluid nature of lycanthropes. Older vampires have greater power and speed than younger. Vampires often seem much faster than they truly are, however – with their mind tricks, they can be across the room in what seems like an eye-blink.

Improved Senses: (All)
Vampires new and old possess senses much greater than that of humans. Even the newly dead have better hearing than most dogs, and their sense of sight is much greater as well. However, they do not have a sense of taste as they cannot ingest food.

Heightened Endurance and Resistance: (All)
Vampires are resistant to many things – in fact, regular bullets will hardly slow them down and will heal nearly instantly. Wounds dealt by silver and lycanthrope/vampire claws and fangs, however, will heal with near-human slowness. Damage inflicted by fire and holy items backed by faith, such as crosses and holy water, cause permanent scarring

Waking when Threatened: (Older Vampires)
Vampires of older age gain the ability to wake if their bodies are threatened, even during the day time.

Animal to Call: (Head Of House ONLY)
Many Master Vampires possess the ability to call a certain animal and lycanthropes that share that beast. Through this ability, a Master Vampire can control animals and lycanthropes as his puppets. It is possible for a Master Vampire to be able to call an animal to which there is no lycanthrope – one Master Vampire in a series could call butterflies and another could call bats, for example. A strong alpha lycanthrope can fight the call of a Master Vampire, potentially protecting both himself and his people. It is important to note that not all Master Vampires have an animal to call Being able to call more than one animal is even rarer. Keep in mind that if a Master Vampire calls a certain lycanthrope group against their will, it can signify an act of war, possibly ending in the death of the Master Vampire – or giving him a group of servants.

Mesmerization with Eyes: (All, but more common in Older Vampires)
With direct eye contact, a vampire can mesmerize a human, hypnotizing them. This is illegal according to human law. This can be done to keep a person in temporary stasis (called mind-rolling), or have lasting effects, giving the vampire control over the human until the vampire is killed. It can also be used to cause short-term memory loss. While crosses and other holy articles backed with faith can push back vampires, they are useless if a person is mesmerized into removing them. Even other vampires can be mesmerized with direct eye contact. Animators, necromancers, sorcerers, and alpha lycanthropes have partial or full immunity to this ability.
Sunlight: (Older Vampires)
The light from the sun is harsh on vampire's skin to the point where staying in it for long periods of time is nearly impossible. It is more harmful to their eyes, so they may not go out without some sort of cover. It is easier and more apealing for them to be active at night.

Werewolf Abilities:

Quote:
Shifting: (All)
All lycanthropes can shift into their beast form. In general, this is a very painful process where tissue and flesh is torn asunder, bones cracked and re-melded, and muscles reshaped. There is both a pure beast form and a half-beast form (which would seem like an actual man-wolf that most think of when they picture a werewolf). Even the regular animal form is much larger than regular beasts of that kind – wererats turn into rats the size of dogs, werewolves turn into wolves the size of small ponies, ect.

Improved Strength: (All)
All Lycanthropes upon their first change are gifted with increased and enhanced physical strength. The average lycanthrope can lift a car over their heads or punch right through a wall clear to the other side.

Improved Resilience: (All)
Lycans are amazingly resilient, compared to humans. Beatings, gunshot wounds, and blades don't seem to faze them much. Very simply, a lycan can take far more punishment than a human could hope to, and remain vertical and dangerous.

Improved Speed: (All)
Lycanthropes are faster than both humans and younger vampires. No mind tricks, natural ability. With this speed comes a natural animalistic grace to their movements. Quick, agile, liquidly graceful. They are so fast that they can appear to be a blur.

Improved Senses: (All)
Lycanthropes can hear and smell with crystal clarity at such a heightened state that even the newest werewolf is able to smell fear, lust, and even the small subconscious olfactory scents associated with lying. They may not be able to recognize what it is they are scenting, but its there. Lycanthropes can even sense and smell when another of their kind is near.

Regeneration: (All)
Lycanthropes heal themselves at a very advanced rate in most situations. This enhanced healing comes into play except when it comes to wounds inflicted by silver and lycan/vampire teeth and claws.

Control Change in Self: (Older Wolves)
With this ability, the lycanthrope is able to control and keep themselves from shifting during situations of strong emotions, anger, and fear, holding the shift back or staving it off completely until it is convenient for them to shape-shift. Using this power gets increasingly more difficult the closer to the full moon it is. On the night of the full moon, the shifter cannot fully hold back the change and must shift; this power allows them to choose the time and place is all.

Commanding: (All, But more common in Older Wolves)
Commanding is the ability to dominate a lycanthrope who is lesser than you with your beast – this could even be another alpha if they are substantially weaker. This ability causes an animalistic fear and almost panic to rise up in the target, which makes them much more susceptible to orders. A lycanthrope must be very lesser to you to be commanded – those close in power or above you will be unaffected.

Control Change of Others: (Older Wolves)
Like being able to control the change in themselves, lycanthropes with this ability have the power to aid and help others in controlling their inner beast. They can calm and prevent a change or they can even force an unwilling change on the victim should they want. An extreme version of this is where the lycanthrope with this power wraps a metaphysical hand around the inner beast of their victim and yanks it out of them, causing the victim to literally explode out of their human shell and shift instantly all at once. It is an even more painful process than regular shifting. A lycanthrope must be very lesser to you to be force-shifted – those close in power or above you will be unaffected.

Fast Shift to Animal: (Older Wolves)
Shape-shifting is usually a painful and slow process, where skin is split in a wash of clear fluids and bones are broken and reshaped. A lycanthrope with the fast shift to animal ability is able to change nearly instantaneously into his beast form, without any side effects such as pain or dizziness.

Hunter Abilities:

Improved Strength: (All)
Those of Hunter clans have higher strength then normal humans, they need it to be able to take on their prey. Their strength isn't as strong as the raw power of the other races, but they can hold their own.

Improved Resilience: (All)
They have a higher resilience to wounds then normal humans do. They still heal at the normal rate, but they can keep pushing their bodies dispite being wounded.

Improved Speed: (All)
They have improved speed more then normal humans, not as quick as wolves or vampires, but it helps them have the reflexes needed to hold their own.

Improved Senses: (All)
They have better senses then normal humans. They are more allert to the supernatural and non human things. They have better tracking abilities, and such to take on their prey.

Roleplay Info

The time period:

The relative time period is around the late 1700's early 1800's. They do have electricity and indoor plumbing, but they do not have all the fancy technology we have now a days. Their primary source of transportation is horses and wagons, their means of communications are letters or messangers. The rich are in charge, and so they have the power over the poor. They live in big elaborate mansions and houses, some live in castles. They have villages, and the people live in smaller houses. They have blacksmiths and still in some ways have knights and guards and things like that. I will add more information here as it comes up.

Kohaku

Kohaku stood outside of the temple where he had been rased for the past seventeen years of his life. He recognized the signs of sunset coming from over the edges of the trees. His eyes narrowed a bit as he watched the leaves sway slightly in the breeze. It was a beautiful evening, but there was a chill about it. Not the normal one in the air, no, it was one most people would not be able to feel. Kohaku wasn't like most people however, and this chill gave him a bad feeling. Something was off. He turned away, and went inside for a moment to prepare himself. The priests would not like it, but he was sick of sitting around and doing nothing. He knew he was out there, Kohaku had been having nightmares lately, connected to his past life, and the demon he sacrificed it to stop. He paused as he felt the familiar prescence behind him of his sister. She did not speak for a moment, but stood at the door with her hands clasped over her heart. Slowly, she spoke.

"So...your going then?" she asks. He slipped a pack of kunai onto his hip, and throwing stars onto the other. "You and I both know he will eventually come for us. Since we are always in the same place, we are sitting ducks so to speak" he stood, turning to face her. He could barley look at her, the sadness in her eyes was apparent. "Then let me come with you" she pleaded. He shook his head, moving to her. He placed a hand on her shoulder, and gave a small smile. "If I can stop this once and for all, there will be no need for you to get involved" she looked at him, and shook her head. "You cannot do this alone, you need my healing and-" he pulled her into a hug silencing her. "Please, don't make this any harder then it has to be. I will be able to handle myself, besides, if things go as planned, I should have no problem finding him..." he looked away. He knew she would not fully believe him, but there was nothing more he could do at the moment.

He pulled away, and turned back to the dresser. He oppened the drawer, and pulled out a headband that held the crest of the two on it. He would not hide who he was, never. He knew that many supernatural beings would be able to sense it anyways, and so, the honorable thing to do would be to face his heratige. He tied it around his head, as his sister watched with a sad look. She slipped off a necklace from her neck, a protection charm hanging from it. She took her brother's hand, placing it inside. He looked at her for a moment "Raven...." She gives a small smile, moving into another hug. "Please be careful, and come home safe." she says. He takes a breath, nodding to her. "I will come home sister...that you can bet on." His eyes held an intense look, to which all she could do was nod. He picked up a backpack, and slung it over his shoulder. Moving to the door he paused for a moment. "You wont tell the priests where I am going will you?" he asks.

She shakes her head slightly "I'm sure they will know in time, but I trust you enough to let you have your time first." He turned back and smiled. "Do not worry sister, I will find that...beast, and I will end him before he ends us" he says, before walking out. His sister gives a small smile, closing her eyes, and holding her hands at her heart "you are a good guy brother....but you are no killer. May your path be lit and blessed with strenght and the guidance you will need when the time comes." He made his way out to the main doors, careful to stay out of sight of the guards. If they saw him, they would not let him leave. They were told the battle would take place on the solstice of the anniversary of the orrigional battle. That would not be untill his sister and him were twenty five, as it usually was. He had a feeling this time was different though, after a few reincarnations, the demon was sure to have become smarter.

He would not continue to wait until the two were of age and peak power. He would eventually get smart to the idea of fininshing them off sooner. His sister and him had grown up with a lot of pressure on their shoulders, the safety of much of the world was on their shoulders. He could no longer act like that was no pressure at all. He shakes his head, he had to keep moving, sitting in one place for to long was not a good idea. He slipped out, and to the main gates, pausing under the arch of the gates to look back at the large building. Under the moon, he was saying goodbye to the only home he had ever known. He was leaving behind his family, his sister, he had no choice. He looks away, taking a breath, before slipping off into the line of trees as the guards come around once more. He would not fail at his mission, he couldn't. He had to do this, for his sister and himself. They would take their lives back once and for all.

Suke Orashi

The sun setting looked beautiful from his room, he leaned on the windowsill, overlooking the small town that the squad was staying in for now. A smile on his lips, he lifted a hand to push his glasses back into place with his middle finger. He could see the humans below scurrying around to get home before darkness fell. They believed that was going to help them, they were wrong. The things that fed off of them would not be stopped by mere windows, walls and doors. He shook his head, moving away from the window to the bed. Three swords sat upon it, and he ran his hand over the scabbbard of the longest one. They had once belonged to his father, before he had been killed by those monsters. He gripped the hilt, pulling the sword from the scabbard with a definite sound. It caught the dimming sunlight, and reflected it in a shining light. He stared into the surface, and saw his reflection. Many said he looked a lot like his parents, and that was all fine and good to him.

He wanted it that way, so when he hunted down all the ones in connection with his parents deaths, they would be able to see them in him as they took their last breath. He slowly slipped the sword back into it's scabbard, before placing it and the other longer one at his hip. He placed the smallest one inside the sash of his pants on the other side. Many did not understand why he often wore white when they went out to hunt, but that was his own liking. He was not one to hide his prescence, no, he wanted them to know he was comming, and many of them knew better then to take him lightly. If they didn't, well then that would be a deadly mistake on their part. He was only eighteen, but he was able to take on, and had taken on, dark things that hunters twice his age and experience could barley handle, or not handle at all. He was no fool, he knew what he was doing. He enjoyed it to, and now he was going out for a scout of the town before the main hunt of the night began.

He had already proven himself in the eyes of the hunter world, taking down the lord who had bitten him, and killed his parents. His mother had used a special herb to stop the venom in his body, but many on the council would argue that he was still a threat, and that it may not have worked and he would turn on them at any moment. He rolled his eyes, they were all fools. His hand had slipped on its' own up to his neck, where the collar of his shirt hid the two small bite marks on his neck, where that thing had dared to put his mouth. Slight chills ran through Suke's body, and for a moment he paused in the darkness of the hallway. His heart was skipping a beat, and the shadows in the hall seemed to lengthen and reach out to him. He shook his head, forcing his eyes closed, then opened them again. "Your being pathetic" he whispered to himself, he knew better then this. He was a hunter, not a vampire. He was the thing that scared the things that went bump in the night.

A slight but familiar sickness set into his stomach, and he took a deep breath. He could not afford to let his condition get the better of him tonight. They were in dangerous territory, there was a rumor that a powerful vampire lord held domain over this town, and they were their to scout it out and report back to the council, then if it was true, they would await orders. He sighed, he hated waiting. If they waited to long, the vampires would gain the upper hand. It was better in his opinion, to take charge, and get it over with. Many would agree with him, the others would call him on his rashness and lack of experience. He brushed his hair out of his eyes, and continued to the stairs. He had a job to do, he did not have time to waste on such trival things such as what people would think about him. That was not why he had become a hunter in the first place, though if people asked, the truth was not always an option either.

For now he would play nice, but soon he would have a squad of his own he hoped, and then he would be the one calling the shots. A smirk found its' way to his lips once more, and he moved to the door opening it. He looked at the last of the sun slipping below the horizon, and placed a hand on the hilt of his swords. He had a feeling this was going to be an eventful trip, there was more to this area then meets the eye. A few of the others had already gone to begin scouting the forests and such, he would be staying in town tonight, close to the capitan .Being second in command, he could not afford to give to much of himself or his power away this soon in the battle, no, he would wait, and let them pick off the others. Only the strong and worthy ones would get to taste death at his hand. He laughed, and stepped out into the early twilight, beginning his rounds.

Silver

Silver laid in bed, he had been waiting for the sun to vanish. He was not allowed out of the grounds, and the sun was a pain to him for many reasons. Sighing, he slowly slipped out of his bed, and made his way to the bathroom. The bath had already been drawn for him by the maids, his master treated him well, even if he was in a way a cross between a pet and a possession of his. He slipped into the water, steam floating from the surface. He groaned lightly, heat was not normally his thing, but when it was combined perfectly with water, he could not resist. He wondered if the others were getting up, he was growing a bit hungry, but he would wait until the lord was up before he exited his room. He was often one of the first people the lord came to see when night fell. Silver was often made to stay by the other man's side. He closed his eyes, and slipped benieth the surface. He had no trouble breathing under the water, and it helped to clear his mind.

Flashes of how he got to this point began to play in his mind. He had been a prince of his people, until their pride and their confidence had become their undoing. They thought no one would be able to reach them under the surface of the water, and for the longest time they had been right. Now however, he was not sure what had become of his family or his home. He had herd most of them were dead and the rest had been hunted down. He would have liked to go see for himself, but every time he even tried to mention it to the lord, the other would shoot him down or become angry with him. He would not let his pet or posession leave the castle. Most vampire lords were similar, they were very posessive, and it was a matter of who had the finer and better things a lot of the time. Since he was now practically the last of his kind and so rare, and also a vampire under the lord's command, he was one thing no onther lord could obtain.

Therefore, he was a major step up on the competition, and useful to the lord in ways no one else could be. He did not always like his place, but it was enough. He was taken care of, food, clothes, though he often wore the more revealing traditional clothes of his people, water, a home. He had no where else to go, not like the lord would let him go. He had tried a few times when he had first been brought here and found out he had been turned, to go home or to escape. Each time, the lord had sent guards after him, some, the lord had come after him himself. He opened his eyes under the water, he could not survive long without the lord's blood. It was one way the lord could make sure that he stayed. The other's blood was intoxicating to him, made his body weak and submit to the other. He felt the burn on his face which humans would discribe as a blush.

Breaking the surface he took a deep breath. He sighed, and stood from the water. A chill wrapped around his body as the temperature around him changed. He reached for a towel, wiping his face and body a bit. He dropped it, not ashamed or nervous about his body. He doubted anyone would come in at the moment anyways. He slipped the usual cloth on around his waist, fastining the belt. Sitting down, he pulled on his boots. They were easier on him then walking around barefooted. He then picked up his gloves, slipping them on and pulling them down to a perfect fit. He smiled, happy with the results. Standing, he moved to the mirror to look himself over a bit. He knew many would approve, his body was tall and lean, lengthy and well balanced. He worked out to stay in shape, training a lot, often sparring with the lord if he wished. He wondered what tonight would hold.

Would the lord use the bleeders? Or would he go into town himself for a new snack. He knew the guards and many of the clan often went out into the many lands the lord owned to get food for themselves and the others, including the family. Even though blood was the main diet of a vampire, it was not the only thing they ate. They did not have to have it constantly either, once a day at least was good enough. The longer a vampire went without blood though, the weaker and more dangerous they became. He remembered when he had first been turned, he had refused blood for two and a half weeks before the lord had literally forced it on him. He shuddered, that was not a memory he liked to relive, the lord had a dark side when he wanted to. Although he was usually calm, patient and gentle with him, Silver knew better then to try on his patience and generocity. The lord would use force with him if needed, he had proven that a few times. He sighed, waiting to see if he would be summoned, or if the lord would come for him himself.

Annette Rochet

Lady Annette Rochet sat at her vanity, brushing her long raven locks. It was just after sunset, the last rays still disappearing in the sky. Her silk bathrobe was wrapped tightly around her, bare feet crossed at the ankles. Her silver eyes glittered in the low lamplight. Through the mirror, she could easily make out Ares' slumbering form in their massive four poster bed behind her. How she loved that man, even though he could be the most frustrating creature she had ever met. When she first met him, Ann found him handsome, yet boring. She thought he had too soft a heart for being the Lord of this house. Yet, as she grew to know him, so did her feelings. Not long after that, he confessed his attraction for her and thus, they were married. Over a century later and she still loved him madly.

Ann shook her head, curls bouncing, and came back to the present. She pinned her hair in her usual style, and got up from her vanity, heading towards her wardrobe. There, she got dressed. Over the many years, she had learned to dress herself and didn't require the assistance of a house maid. Once that was over, she powdered her nose once more and dabbed on some scarlet lipstick. Annette was resplendent in her ivory and gold gown, silver eyes, black hair and bright red lips. Satisfied, she stood and swept over to her sleeping husband. She took a moment to admire him, broad chest, corded with muscles, solid arms and shoulders. High forehead, arched eyebrows and full lips. He was certainly gorgeous. She bent down and kissed him lightly on the cheek and pulled some hair from is face. "Time to wake, darling. Would you like me to summon a bleeder or will you be visiting Silver this evening?" She smiled at him, her features softened in the romantic light.

To this day, she couldn't believe her luck. The Lady of a house and married to a handsome man, with a daughter, no less! Ann could barely remember her days as a newborn. Just glimpses and vague memories every once and a while. She starts to remember more of her long life after she had met and Turned Alexandra, her long-time, yet former, lover. Alexandra had been by her side for most of a millennium before she met Ares. Alexandra resided in the house as well, with her companion and lover, Derik. Alexandra is her best and oldest friend. The Roman woman is the same height as Ann, but her eyes are reddish brown, her auburn hair falls well past her shoulders, and her skin is not as fair as Ann's. Instead of modern fashion, Alexandra prefers cotton or gauzy shifts and dresses close to the Roman style of toga's. Many of the people in the villages call her the Roman Ghost Woman, as when she is rarely seen walking the grounds at night, her visage is haunting and ethereal, almost ghost like.

Later, she would be meeting Alexandra over tea to discuss her upcoming wedding. Derik had finally asked Ann her blessing, and she gladly said yes, happy to see her first "born" beginning life with someone she loved dearly. The wedding was set to be at the next full moon, near the waterfall, in the woods set behind the mansion. Annette was excited, as she was going to be the matron of honor and would offer the newlyweds their first meal, their very own, personal bleeder. Oh, she couldn't wait for tea later! Annette brushed her fingers along Ares' cheek and dropped another light kiss, this time on his lips. "Come now, sleepy head, time to wake." She said gently. "If you sleep much longer, the sun will rise."

Astrid Elsey and Lienna Trea

Astrid rolled over in her bed and threw the covers up over head and curled up in a ball. She stayed like thin until she peaked out from under them and saw that the sun was just setting. She threw the covers off and got out of bed. She went over to her wardrobe and quickly changed out of her night gown and into her normal attire, and then she went to her mirrored dressing table and put her hair like she did every day. She like her outfit choices and normally opted for ones that looked more fun anyways well that and the ones that showed off her crimson eyes. She slipped on her shoes and fixing a few strands of her blond hair she smiled approvingly then headed back to her bed. Quickly throwing the blankets back in place and fixing the pillows she was satisfied and headed out the door.

Every night was the same for her; Astrid was always excited about finally being well, generally awake. For a lack of a better way to put it. She ran down the hallways of the mansion laughing, as usual. Being happy go lucky, all the time really had its perks. She didn’t really pay attention to the threats of the hunters killing off the other house bother her. She knew that when and if they ever came here they would be in for a surprise. She always looked at the positive side anyways; no point in looking at it negatively or else it would just be an eternity of hating it. She had learned that in her first few years, that is why she changed her mind and soon began to love being a vampire.

Laughter echoed through the halls as Astrid ran passed, she had a mission and she was going to get it no matter what. She rounded the corner and swung open the door to a bleeders room and yanked the girl out of bed saying “Lienna, get up or we will miss it again!” She pulled the girl up and out of bed then stopped and waited. Astrid had befriended the bleeder seeing as she could always share secrets with, and well she needed someone to be friends with, even if it was a bleeder.

Being suddenly awoken by the familiar voice that pulled her straight out of bed Lienna, stumbled a bit and rubbed her eyes saying “Astrid you get me up every day with plenty of time to go see the moon rise. I mean just because the first time you did this we were late doesn’t mean that we are always going to be late. I mean look at the past few what months? We have been early.” She walked over to her dresser and pulled out a simple set of clothes and changed into them and went to brush her hair.

Astrid watched Lienna and said “There is still the chance we can be late, I don’t want to miss it. I used to watch the sunrise, but you know vampires and sun don’t mix well. So I have settled for the moon and I have become very fond of it.” Lienna with her back to her mouth all the words as Astrid spoke, she had learned this part of her speech as almost once a week Astrid would repeat it. Turing around Lienna put her brush down and said “Alright, let’s go”.

Astrid smiled brightly and grabbed Lienna’s wrist and basically dragged her out of the room and down the hall towards the main doors. Being excited Astrid was giggling all the way, Lienna just rolled her eyes and kept up the best she could. Stopping at the door Astrid let go of Lienna, and looked at her smiled blinking her crimson eyes at her. After doing this every day Lienna knew what to do and knew how impatient Astrid is about things.

Lienna sighed and said “You know maybe if you took your time and stopped rushing then I wouldn’t have to go out and make sure that the sun was down before you went out.” She opened the door and stepped out, quickly checking she looked back and said “You’re good” and stepped to the side to let Asrid out. Astrid walked out past Lienna and out to where she could watch the moon and stared at it saying “It’s amazing!” Lienna stood slightly behind her and watched with her, it did grow on her watching the moon and all.

Astrid stood there and smiled as the moon rose and looked over at Lienna saying “It never gets old, it is always new. I mean there are a few clouds but it adds to it. Oh, and the stars they are a bonus.” She looked back up at the sky and watched. Lienna had never seen anyone this excited about the moon before, well at least here. She didn’t really get Astrid’s fascination with it but then again there were a lot of things she didn’t get about Astrid.

Lienna knew that Astrid was always positive even if she was already technically dead, and then there was the fact that she was always doing something… in the middle of the night. Lienna never knew that there were actually so many things you could do at night, but Astrid was an open person who always was kind to everyone… well until you got her mad then you would have to run. Oh and then there was her way of getting what she wanted, it is slightly unfair but oh well it is Astrid and if she didn’t have the power she would probably just use force anyways. So the more peaceful way was nicer in Lienna’s opinion.

Lienna looked up then said “So, what are you plans for the evening?” She looked at Astrid who was still staring at the moon. Astrid looked over at her for a moment then looked up again saying “My plans for the day, well, probably adventuring, like always, maybe a trip to town.” Lienna rolled her eyes and said “Enjoy yourself then, but remember the sun does rise again”. Astrid laughed and said “It was a mistake ok, I was late once.” Liennna smiled then said “Exactly what I mean!” and looked over at her. Astrid eyes opened wide and looked over at her saying “Hey, no fair you set me up!” She smiled then they both started laughing again before looking up at the moon to watch for a bit longer.
