So....I was on pinterest about a month ago and saw this:


It's a bag for your music stand so you can keep your papers, pens, remotes, etc in it and stay organized while teaching :D

I decided I wanted one! But I have never sewed before in my entire life.

My best friend knows how to though, so she taught me and I made a bag for me :D



I'm quite proud of it :D

That's awesome! I've been meaning to learn, I even have a sewing machine around here somewhere (we're moving.) You should be super-proud of yourself. You saw something you wanted and literally made it happen.

The picture is really dull - but I got all the pockets in there - and even added a big on one the back :D

And thank you :) I'm super excited. I just never sewed. No one in my family does. So I never learned. But hopefully this will open the door to making more things :D

I desperately want to learn how to sew, mostly for myself (It'd be awesome to make my own clothes) but also because I'm convinced I could make a small fortune on Etsy.
The problem is, I don't know where to even start.
My dad taught me a stitch when I was 8 or 9, and I made this little bag, but I've forgotten how to do it!

I know how to sew out of necessity.
Growing up, nobody helped me with like anything, so I had to sew holes together and buttons onto my clothing that had fallen off.
I am self taught.
