Well, what I do is I just equip whatever item i was making for first, and then go about it how I do normaly with avatars XD

and they're not being really strict on what gets in, so it doesn't have to be fantastically amazing either XD

I think actually if you just remove the background you'd be fine ^.^

Cool :O I usually stick with something grayish, and then the other highlight color as all the way #FFFFFF. :lol: But when it comes to other colors, it just starts to muck up...

I like to put a lighter version of the color, or even another color to cause a striking contrast without over bleaching it ^.^

but red and white make a gorgeous pink <3

well, it is nice, but for item previews they want it to be simple so the item will stand out X3
which is why for (most) mine, they've all got no background, and small amounts of CI's and EI's ^.^

Ohh, I love the pink hair. It's perfect for my pink bunny outfit. :XD

the item guide is nice, cause it gives me and others a chance to wear all those gowns that are gorgeous but don't layer well enough for most avatars~

so I saved it XD

yeah, for me part of the fun is getting the hair just right. So i'm more about going threw the motions than knowing exactly. It's fun but highly inconsistent.
