thank chexala! I try really hard and push myself to make the things i want to wear and include in my wardrobe. I also have a box... perhaps that is how i will make my goal... oh box of things i dont look at... how sad you are.

Oh those sewing boxes of half-finished projects, it seems like every seamstress has one.

lol i know right?! but i just get so absorbed in current projects that old projects just seem like a chore. they are way to easy to forget. i am not even sure i know whats in there anymore. lol.

today, i am going to try to see how much of a dress i can make. so far, i havnt started at all. lol. so great progress. lol. its going to be full length and ruffled and have bunnies on it. i hope it turns out better then i think it will because i have unicorn fabric that i designed and got printed so i could make it again with that fabric.

I actually did that in a weekend and it turned out really well. i like it a lot anyways. i think if i do it again, im going to make the skirt go out more on the bottom... make it more voluminous.


gosh, im at 17 crafts already! only 8 left to go! but only until march... so three months... 3 projects a month should do it though.

I added the lacing you see. the rest of the vest was given to me by a coworker. it was a few sizes to big and this was the easiest solution.

thanks! I already have two dresses on the go. one that just needs a zipper and one i have all cut out but i need to sew together. so im ready to start my next challenge. i just have to make an official post. i think ill start March 1st again.

lol, it's been a while. How is everyone doing on their crafts? I haven't been doing so well. So far, I've only got one thing done. Need to step it up and get everything else (that's on my list currently) done.

I've made a few things recently - if I can steal some time away this week I'll try to post pics. (Crochet projects mostly.)

I crochet and I really want to participate but I need to think of a goal. My health issues are getting in the way of my crafting so I'm not sure how many skeins I should set my goal at.
I also have a bunch of drawing/painting supplies but I would like to work on getting rid of my yarns to make room for more.

I'm thinking 25 skeins isn't much but 50 seems like a lot.

what about 30 or 40?

also, i should have one of the quilts entirely cut out this weekend and one filly pieced and ready for actual quilting, which will be nice.

Krazzing will try and use up 40 skeins of yarn starting January 22, 2016

Thank you, I will aim for using up 40 balls of yarn. :) I'm so tempted to start it as of January 1, 2016 because I've already made a few items this year but I will start it the day I made this post.

OMG!!! My mom's husband bought my mom a sewing machine as a late xmas gift. It was $10 short of being half off and the guy said it was a good machine.
I've been wanted to get back into sewing again but my mom's old machine didn't work properly. I learned to do the basics in home ec in 7-8th grade but I can easily look up tutorials online. :)
