Hi Fabby! Do y'all think the event will start on Saturday or before? The last event was my first one, and it was well underway when I started participating - I have no clue when it started.

There isn't a specific start time for the event, and as far as I know, they don't even have a day picked out. They do that to prevent people getting upset if it gets set back for any reason.

Can't they just set a day and then plan to start the event two days later? Since that's how it seems to work..

I say just wait until an announcement about the event starting, thats what I do when events come around.

There is still coding and things to be done. It's hard to predict when things like that will be finished, so I agree with the staff about not setting a date until they make sure it's all sorted out.

I remember the Halloween event started a bit late, and everyone was all pissed.

This way, they can just start on time...

One thing I wish they'd do here like they do on Gaia.... Any time they put out a new announcement thread, I wish they'd put if in the same place as our Messages...something to show that there's a new announcement. I don't always go to the Announcement Forum to look and see if there's something new, so I miss stuff.

Can you subscribe to a Forum rather than to a specific thread in a forum?

I understand all of that. I'm just excited that the event is imminent. Whenever it begins, I'll be happy. I'm just glad to see so many people participating in teams at this stage. I wasn't sure if the development team usually sends out a target date to begin events or not.

I'm worried about the team thing though, it didn't work much last time, what if it fails again this round? :/

be neat though.

Actually, you CAN subscribe to a forum, but it doesn't tell you when something new is poster there.

All it does is put a little button underneath your subscribed topics so that you get quickly navigate to the forum.

Well I had plenty of time on both events so I think they have good judgment. I hope this time it starts on time. *ahem* but I have full faith in Inso.

Depending on where a user hangs out, I tend to recognize most usernames if they're regulars. XD I could probably go to the "Users Online" list and say, "yeah, I know that one" for 80% of the users. XD;

I wasn't sure if we used to hang out in a thread together at some point or not, but I do know you. XD

I'll probably just not take so many supplements at once again. XD; I need to get the stuff for my joints, though. They've been howling at me for the last three days. I've got some mysterious Asian medical goo (I don't recognize the language... it's not either Chinese or Japanese, it may be Thai... Whatever it is, it works great, usually) rubbed on me right now and it's making my eyes water. XD

Channah's a hoot. XD I hope I get to hang out with her some during the event/before the event. XD

CK if you can show me a picture I might be able to recognize it. (Knows Korean and can recognize Thai alphabet and some words.)

Edit- I also have a Phillipino close at hand to see if it might be Tagalog... XDDDDD

Hmm. Let me see if I can find a digital camera. I'm feeling lazy today, though. LOL. But I'll throw it at you whenever I get a picture of it. XD I've always been curious as to where it came from.
