Hello!

I am an illustration major and I have been assigned a bunch of character-based illustrations, and I needed to either gouache or watercolor or BOTH... and here's my WIP. Taken with a webcam unfortunately. :(

The character depicted here is a zombie girl who's JUST turned. There's a lot more to the story but this is all I have time for tonight. c:

Will update this thread periodically with WIPs of other sketches from the story.

it's pretty good, what did you do this in?
I work with goauche primarily, so I always love to see others work in it.

Thanks!

I unfortunately have to redo it because of a lot of issues I didn't really think about. It was like, 10+ hours of just wanting to get it done, lol. But now I'm a bit more excited for it.

AT ANY RATE

This was done in watercolor, but the carpet was gouache (since it's opaque and I could make it more textured on the wallpaper a bit better). The hand came out really oddly and I am pretty tempted to redo the whole thing in gouache, after talking about it in class and seeing everybody else's finished pieces.
