I'm sorry that you haven't been able to really experience Halloween, Aylin.
Growing up here, it's something we take for granted.

When I was a child it was quite different. We got all kinds of treats like homemade popcorn balls, and things that you can never allow your child to eat now.

I've never had a popcorn ball.

Cows Go Moo; Lol yeah it's okay though. I just wont buy those items. Haha & that sounds like a way cool costume!!
I'm going as... I'm not sure yet. Haha. My best friend bought a costume & wont let me see it till later when we're getting ready for the party.

Aylin; @_@ Oh my. That sounds...did you just go up to strangers doors & ask for candy? Without them realizing it was Halloween? *sounds like something I would do*
But I normally stay home & hand out candy, chill with some friends & watch movies. BUT this year there is a HUGE Halloween party that my best friends sister is throwing. I'm hoping it'll be fun. If not. We're ditching it. haha

Woohoo! I caught the beginning of an event a THIRD time in a row! If you knew my event record, you'd be planning the menu for the party right now. Too bad I didn't check my e-mails in time to benefit from the extra day before the beginning.

So, how is everyone? *not allowed to do anything for Halloween anymore except eat candy*

That's what we tried: go from door to door and explain the people that it is halloween... ^^"
But it wasn't very funny... =P

Once I had a friend, whose mother is American, and so we went for trick or threat where she lived... it was better there, but also not as funny as it has to be in the USA and whereever it is celebrated... ^^"

My missed five years of trick and treating cause she lived in Cambodia.

Popcorn balls are very yummy, but also very hard for the teeth.

Some are made gooey, and others are hard. It depends on how long you cook the corn syrup.

Ah I see, I want one.

That sorta makes me feel spoiled...that you don't even get to go trick or treating... Not that I have for the past few years, since we stop going at like...13 in my family. Lol We take the little kids though. ^.^

Mmm I'd like some tea, chai tea with extra milk is delicious. >w<
