Name: Ella
Age: 17
Race: Human
Appearance:
Personality: Shy and quiet, often keeping to herself. This does not mean that she is not exceptionally brilliant when it comes to her artwork. She is the one who says very little, is hardly noticed, but knows almost everything that goes on around her. That being said she is rather oblivious to the things that are larger then right in front of her.
Bio: She was born to a wealthy family who allowed her to thrive in her art that they knew would one day bring her to greatness. But that was before the demons, the demons who took her family, her home, everything she knew was turned upside down and she fled. When Galeriel saved the village she was able to come out of hiding and take her place as an artists apprentice. Eventually she was able to work directly for Galeriel. She is eternally grateful to Galeriel, and extremely loyal.

Name: Rebbecca (Becca)
Age: Unknown
Race: Angel
Appearance:
Personality: Becca is one of the Warrior angels, and also nothing like what the humans think of when they think of angels. She can be brass, almost cold in nature. She has a rebellious side at times. And she works hard to get the job done. This being said, she has a heart of gold underneath the tough exterior. She will fight to the death if thats what it takes to protect the humans, even if they do not believe in her and also in her higher beings.
Bio: Rebbecca was sent to earth because of Galeriel. She is often sent to clean up messes on earth and this is considered a mess to the higher ups. She is good at what she does, which is why they told her they sent her, though she has her suspicions that they just didn't want to deal with the mess this was going to cause. She comes to earth a few years after Galeriel takes over the city.

((She will be changing clothes in my first post, but this IS what she comes from the light realm in xP))

A boy of delicate stature was diligently working on finishing what he believed to be a memoir describing what it was to serve the one True God. Indeed, he was fooled into believing in the honeyed words of the vilest and most cruel of all creatures, the Arch Demon Galeriel. As he finished carefully penning intricate calligraphy into a high quality vellum, he drew back to admire his finished manuscript.

Our Lord Galeriel descended in this world when we most needed him, when vile demons crawled from their hellish realms and ransacked our cities. Hearing our prayers, He did not hesitate to protect us from the demons that plagued us in exchange for our adoration, devotion and art. Our Lord became our God on this fateful, moonless night. We knew at once He was divine with His white hair, moonlit skin and azur eyes that always were lit up by His sun-like smile.

Soon afterwards we started to build a temple worthy of His magnificence, searching the war-torn land where we lived for the most exquisite of materials and learning how to create intricate clockworks to please His Lordship.

Lord Galeriel was pleased by our effort and made sure that no demon would ever harm us or enter His Holy Household. Thus, we lived free of fear and illuminated by His grace ever since.

That young man was naive and easily swayed by beauty and flattery, those weaknesses ending up costing him his freedom and his very soul. That young adolescent, named Regis by the few who knew him, was an artist, a writer, a poet, a musician as well as a dancer. A prodigy for one of fourteen years of age. His love for art was second only to his love for Galeriel, and his skills were prized by the fiend.

Softly blowing on the now drying ink and putting sand on the vellum to further dry it, Regis smiled, passing inkstained finger through his brown feathery locks. He did it. Lord Galeriel would surely be pleased. With that hopeful though in mind, he stored the finished scroll on the nearby bookcase and walked through numerous doors to the entrance of the temple, ready to wait all night if needed be for his beloved Lord.

-----------------------

Galeriel felt quite smug about his accomplishments these days.

When he was unceremoniously exiled from the Demonic Realm, he had thought that he would have to live a miserable existence without minions or luxuries. Those preconceptions were quite gleefully thrown out of the proverbial window however when he found that the humans were laughably gullible and weak willed. Oh, how much fun did he have those last few years!

His turn of fortune started when he gracefully fell into a human city as a result of his exile and accidentally “saved” the city from the “foul demons” that ransacked it. A positively delightful turn of events, that night was!

Since then he became worshipped by the silly mortals as a God and Savior and was routinely given tribute for his “protection from the fiends”. Little did the silly insect know, he was merely feared all around the Demon Realm for his cruelty and sadism and did not care about the human's survival beyond their ability to produce art, monuments and adoration in honour of his magnificent person.

Two mortals in particular were deliciously devoted to him, and even built a temple in his honour! Fools, the both of them. They were useful however, as they obeyed his every whims and showered his glorious self with constant simpering and praise. Of course, they were not the only ones.

One of Galeriel's other little puppets was the Pope himself, the old man currently singing his praise to the mass amassed in the gigantic courtyard as yet another monument in his honour was inaugurated. It was good to be the Arch Demon Galeriel.

Ellianra Delquist, or as most knew her by Ella, sat in the front of the temple, on the floor in front of a large statue of Galeriel. She had a book made of a rough paper bound together with leather open in her lap and was softly sketching away the newest concept sketch with a piece of wood she had whittled to a point with her pocket knife and then scorched. It was her preferred medium in the lesser scale of the concept sketches. She could often be seen around various parts of town with her little leather bound book and her scorched wood.

Today she was sketching out the framework for what was to be a masterpiece. A mural of the night of the Coming. That's what most of the town called it. It had come to be known as a holy night, the night Galeriel came to earth to save them. She smiled remembering that night. The world had become a frightening place full of many demons, you could not even guarantee your own life. And then he came in a flash of light and saved them all from the evil of the world. Yes, Galeriel was a savior from God, she would never even try to deny that. She smiled, hopefully the Mural wold make his Lord Highness pleased with her.

She looked up from her sketch to look at the statue she was using as a point of reference and then deftly let out a small delicate sigh. It would never do, she thought to herself, when will they ever learn. The statue had been commissioned by a man name Alerto, Collin Alerto she believed, and she hated it. The nose wasn't right, the eyes weren't right. His Lordship was much more beautiful then the statue would have people believe. She shook her head and went back to her sketch which she now decided to do by memory. She could picture his glory in her head with almost perfect detail.

They should have had her there to help with the statue, she was a beautiful sculptress, Artist, and she had a rather fond gift for music. She could also read and write far better then most. "I could have set that nose right", she said out loud, though in her soft voice that hardly anyone would be able to here. A door behind her opened and she turned around, finding herself facing Regis. Regis's level of artistry was almost equal to her own, perhaps even, though she would never admit this, slightly better. "Good Afternoon Regis" she said in her heavy foreign accent.

((Becca to come shortly))

((What about Veronelle? I don't know, really xD!))

As Regis finally pushed open the last door to the entrance to the temple, he was mildly startled to see that Ella was already there, sketching on a notebook and apparently waiting for their Lord as well. As she turned to him and greeted him with a soft smile, he couldn't help but think that he was as fond of her as he could be of someone who wasn't Galeriel. The older girl could not compare to His Holiness of course, but she was pleasant company nonetheless and the two slowly formed a quiet companionship over the last year.

“Good evening, Ella. I trust your project for Lord Galeriel is going along well?” The boy asked, his young voice rough from lack of use, as he often kept to himself when his Lord was away.

As he inquietude about the young woman's most recent project, he calmly made his way to where he always kept his violin, in a small locked chest at the feet of his Lordship's very first likeliness at the centre of the temple's Square. He always thought he could have done a far better job of it, if he had been at his Lord's side at the time.

After fetching his beloved instrument, Regis walked back to Ella's general location and leaned against a perfectly sculpted pillar, lifting the violin to his thin chin and starting a soft melody of his own composition.

((That works for me, sorry for disappearing, I'll do Rebecca's post now))

The angel Rebecca, or Becca as the other angels like to call her, was not what you think of when the word Angel comes to mind. She was a warrior, bred from the very beginning of her existence to protect the humans from the demons who roamed the earth. The other angels called her "The Cleaner" when they thought she wasn't listening, but the truth was, she didn't care. It was often times true, she was sent to earth to clean up whatever mess the demons left behind them.

She stepped into the grass from the tiny plane of light that had acted as her stairs. Contrary to the very popular human belief, most Angels did not have wings. This was merely one of the myths the humans created to make themselves happy. She could remember the painting she came across during one of her missions of an angel with wings. She just about laughed herself silly. Not that she could blame the humans for thinking that way, it was true that the high angels Gabriel and Micheal had wings. So she couldn't really blame them.

She looked out across the low flat plains in front of her, she could just barely make out the city of Veronelle in front on the horizon. She frowned first, and then scowled, "Galeriel, damn you, what have you done" she growled to herself. She put a hand to her forehead, this mission wasn't going to be easy. Even the Devil himself hadn't wanted Galeriel around.

A soft wind blew by her and she shivered just slightly. Looking down she mumbled under her breath, she'd forgotten to change. Another myth busted, most angels preferred to wear as little clothing as possible. Whoever told the humans that modesty is holy, well, quite frankly, lied. Adam and Eve themselves started off completely naked. She let out a soft sigh, ah well, what did they say. When with humans, do as the humans do. She changed her clothing into a soft pink dress that fell almost to the ground with long sleeves and tied nicely together with a corset that nearly cut off her circulation. "Humans truly are ridiculous creatures" she said in a loving manner.

((Alrighty ^.^))

She looked down at her own work as he asked about it, "Fairly well I think" she said as she went back to sketching, "I would like to think our lordship shall be most pleased when he comes to hear of my newest project. She closed her eyes for a moment in concentration on the night of the Coming. Not a soul in Veronelle didn't remember that night. She held the sketchbook up in front of her studying the picture and she made a few decisions and went back to sketching.

When Regis began to play the violin she stopped her sketching, just for a moment. Art was her life, but music was her soft spot. The way it moved with both in the air and in you. She closed her sapphire eyes for a moment just listening. Letting it wash over her, she had to admit, he was the best violinist she knew. The notes just moved together. She let her mind wander and her thoughts went back to the past two years, how much better they had been, how she couldn't have hoped for much more.

She hummed softly with the tune he played, something about it drew her in. She hummed a counter harmony to match the melody he played, it seemed.....like the right thing to do. Eventually she sang words to the harmony as well, where they had come from god only knew. Or maybe they where a gift from Galeriel.

I was lost in the Darkness
Far Away and unknown
Torn away in the silence
My presence was shown

But you saved me
from the darkness you brought light
you saved us
took the losing from the fight

I know you, I live for you
As I sing this lullaby
I'll be forever yours
Until our last Goodbye.

I'll be forever yours
savior in from the sky

((Totally not the best poetry I have ever written in my life, but hell....it works))
