I dunno -- I was just glad when we built the house and I got a door again XD;

The material the walls were built from was too hard for tacks...and it'd crack if your nailed it. Very annoying.

I've never had any kind of lock or whatever on my door - never had a door that actually COULD be locked, you know. But I never had much of a privacy problem - knocking is standard, and save from my sister when she comes barging in to chat about something, no one really enters my room except for me & my cat~

Better late then never, I suppose...? :/ Though I can't imagine what it must have been like when you were more in those teen years with those awkward "I hate my body" moments. I mean, of course we still get those moments, but having people constantly invading your space then is just horrible!

Oh just in general it pissed me off~
I was never really awkward with my body lol
I kind of just said "Okay" to it and accepted it :3
But to have him constantly walking in whenever -- not knowing if I were changing or what -- just so he could get a movie -- was beyonddd infuriating lol

Ugh, I still often feel kind of awkward about my body - as in, I'll be sitting in the bath tub, my sis'll come strolling into the bathroom, and I'll have to resist the urge to cover myself up. x'D But that usually depends on how confident I am, that day.

Oh I cover myself up -- but that's just because I don't feel as if they need to look at me XD;
It's not because I feel awkward about my body or anything~
Just that I have a lot of scarring so it's not something I like showing off, ya know? XD;

Hmhmm, it's sort of the same with me. :/ Too much scarring, too much things that I don't feel they should see. I don't know, I always figured it came a bit from being awkard about my body. It's not that I don't love my body, it's that I feel awkward "sharing" it.

My scars just aren't pretty and I don't feel that they need to look at them is all hahaha

Scars tell a story, though. It's not so much about being pretty - though I think they CAN be pretty - as them being there & having a reason for being there.
But yeah.
People usually are pretty "humn" when it comes to scars; I think more people who have them feel awkward about them, then that other people actually feel bothered by them.

Oh mine are just hormonal -- other than the ones on my face and head XD;

My friend Jenny's brother Curtis -- he threw a boomerang to us (we were at the top of the fort making a potion out of milkweeds) -- but it was too high and I had turned around just as he threw it so I wasn't really prepared -- it hit my eye. I blacked out and woke up as his Dad carried me home and Mom was asking "What happened???!"~
I didn't even know what happened and hardly remember much of what happened after that XD;
I just remember that when I came in and out of consciousness I was crying ever time and half the time was in the middle of sentences XD;
It was like I was awake, but not... ya know? ^_^;;
