This is a stiff dark forest green wire that I hope to use someday as a stem for a flower.

Just some construction paper I found while sifting through the boxes. I should really put these with the other pile I have downstairs.

Can you tell that this is supposed to be a puppy with a sweater on a leash (I know, I know, the leash is technically supposed to be around the neck, not coming from the tail)? I made this with mini beads in various colors (sky blue, red, and brown) and a bendable wire!

These are three little jingle bells that actually make tinkling noises when you shake them! I don't know what I will use these for, but maybe in a future Christmas themed project.

This is a hole puncher that I actually got as part of a Kids Meal from Burger King when they were doing a toy collaboration with Crayola. As you can see from the picture, it punches out four different shapes - a star, a sun, a heart, and a tree. It does not work very well, unfortunately, due to just being a toy. That is, once you punch out the hole, the punched piece kind of gets stuck within the contraption and is hard to get out. But, I have used it before for card-making and decorating.

Buttons galore!! I had a little coin purse that held most of these buttons, and then I found others strewn throughout my desk and was able to put them all in one place, which was great. A lot of these were either cut off old shirts or the extra replacement buttons that come with shirts with buttons on them in case you lose a button.

Okay, so I do not really know why my younger self decided to keep all these broken bead fragments and shiny shards. I guess because they were shiny and pretty. Obviously, these beads are broken and cannot be strewn onto a necklace or anything. But together, the collection looks kind of reminiscent of sea glass, where so many color fragments of mystery items are all in one place and make an overall pretty scene. So I guess I will use it for something someday.

This is a cookie cutter of a star. I know for a fact that I have many more cookie cutters that are also green and in various shapes, including Christmas shapes. But, I unfortunately do not know where they are.

These are actually earrings from an old Barbie doll that I had. I think we still have it, but I am not sure. We may have had to let her go. But these are her earrings. In the case that we have to let her go, I will definitely pay tribute to her for wonderful childhood memories by doing something artsy and pretty with her earrings. Now if only I can remember where I put all the other Barbie related things.

These are two pretty little jars that actually used to have fruit jams in them. I actually got them from a hotel back when I was traveling in...I think Paris? So I brought them home and am now keeping the pretty little jars to store beads and other pretty things.

I know for sure that I have a ton of beautiful rhinestones in another box somewhere. And this first photograph includes tiny rhinestones that actually fell off my jeans and things like that. I just put them all in the same place.

Work in Progress

I have a ton of plastic Easter eggs of various colors, patterns, shapes, and sizes. This picture is only a third of what I have. I would like to start getting rid of them somehow, but in a creative way. I think I will fill them with candy and hide them in places, or maybe hang them from people's doorknobs.

This is the kind of idea I have in mind. My first finished egg. Super simple. I just threaded a ribbon through the hole at the bottom of the plastic egg, then tied a knot inside so that it would stay. I kept the ribbon loop long enough so that it can easily be slipped around a doorknob. I plan to put some candy into this egg and hang it somewhere as a surprise gift this Easter. It helps to use up all the ribbon I have laying around as well, and I do have a LOT of it. EDIT: And some more!

So this is what I did with those Easter eggs! Note that this is not all of the photos I took of all of the eggs that I hid or hung. But you get the gist of what I did :)

do you mind if i take inspiration from how you're doing this thread to do my own? i get all kinds of project ideas and maybe it would help me contain the ideas to actually push through instead of doing them haphazardly and forgetting them.
