He looked to her once more, she was talking about so many things. So many questions, one right after another. He gave a light smile, she was a curious one indeed. He nodded to her, when she finished asking some of them. "If that is what you seek" he says, "anything is possible here." That brought him to her other question. Was this place magic? He chuckled a bit, "I suppose you could call it that...the magic of what is in people's hearts....their hopes and dreams." He looked up at the sky, "this place is real....but the reality is of what people make of it."

He did not expect it to make sense right away. His eyes slowly returning to her. "It is the reality that others choose for themselves...though with more than one being here now, those realities blend and mix...they can possibly clash" he spoke slowly and clearly. It was more information then he had explained to the others so far, should they be here for this? He wondered if he should go get them, but the woman did not seem keen on moving still. He glanced back to the temple, and caught sight of two figures standing out against the white of the temple itself. "Ah, there are the other two" he smiled.

It really hadn't been so bad. It was actually, amazing! Lyra got to look at things without being told to or not to, and she'd gotten to feel some of them. She'd never been allowed to touch anything in her world that wasn't handed to her for one reason or another. She wanted to touch more things!

When he told her to keep doing what she wanted and that he wouldn't be far, Lyra smiled. She didn't mean to, it just happened. It was a strange feeling. A happiness welled up inside her and then her eyes got all squinty and her lips were curving in a direction they might not ever have before. It was beautiful; a smile that could have lit up her world, had it had the chance.

She stopped smiling though soon after, having been shocked by it. She'd liked it though. A lot. She wanted to smile more, and touch more things! Golden eyes followed his finger to see Solaris and someone she hadn't seen before. Lyra's joy shrank back inside her and she began to feel anxious again. Another person. Surely all three of these people couldn't be good and trustworthy.

Lyra had moved backwards a step or two, though she hadn't realized she'd done it. She was standing equal with Kurako and suddenly, most of the progress made, was lost. She stared across the grounds at the pair, and then found Kurako again. He would protect her, she reminded herself. She closed her eyes and breathed air in, and then let it out in a cleansing action, opening her eyes again. They would go, to Solaris.

But Lyra would certainly not lead the way on this one. She couldn't bring herself to do it. She faced Kurako. She wanted to touch his arm, or even his chest or collar bone, but she found that there was no bare skin anywhere but his face. She reached out, asking again.

When her hand touched his cheek, she sent the feeling of wanting to go see Solaris, and the newcomer. She sent a feeling of bravery. She sent trust. Lyra hadn't tried hard enough this time though to only send information, and when she was done sending her's, she accidentally stole some. While wondering why his skin was so covered all over and wanting to touch him anywhere else, Lyra had stolen a split second of an image of his skin. Perhaps as it had been seen in a mirror, only his memory.

Immediately she removed her hand, quickly, as if she had been bitten by something. He wouldn't know what she had seen, or that she'd seen anything at all, only that she was feeling brave and that she wanted him to lead them to Solaris. Lyra held her hand and looked away from him quickly. Surely he would be furious if he knew she'd stolen a look at that memory.

It was probably a strange thing for him, to feel her bravery, and see her retract like that. She wouldn't touch him again, she couldn't. She was too curious now and wouldn't be able to stop the intake of information. What were those lines all over him? Were they still there? Is that why he covered himself, even his hands? She wouldn't be able to keep herself from taking that information. Lyra stepped away from him now, but would follow if he moved to go to Solaris.

Lune didn't understand the meaning behind a lot of this man's words, but that didn't really matter right now anyway. All that mattered was, there was no logical explanation for any of this. Lune still didn't know what to do. "It's all so overwhelming." She raised a hand to her head, fingertips pressing against her temples lightly. "I...I just don't understand any of this at all." For a moment she looked as if she might faint, but she took a few deep breaths and that seemed to help. Those fingers were still pressed against her temple though, rubbing a bit as if she had a headache.

When he mentioned the others, Lune lifted her eyes to look, she bit her bottom lip gently, frowning a bit. That hand lowered from her head to clutch a bit at the large skirt part of her dress, she was so uncertain, and still afraid this was some sort of trick or kidnapping. Though only time would really tell, she supposed. "Perhaps some tea would be lovely." She sounded very unsure, and for the moment she remained standing there, her eyes on the others that were approaching.

Kurako almost immediately regretted pointing Solaris and the new comer out to this woman. She instantly moved backwards until she was right next to him, and he gave a sigh, running a gloved hand through his hair as he watched her. She had seemed rather happy before he had pointed them out. The half elf hadn't meant to ruin her happiness, when she reached for his face, he tilted it towards her hand. Honestly, Kurako didn't mind the physical contact, though it was a rather inconvenient way of communicating in his opinion it was still very interesting.

She wanted to go over there, but she wanted him to lead the way. When she broke the contact, Kurako shook his head slightly. "If that's where you want to go, then you should take charge and march right on over there." He was already moving though, to lead them towards Solaris and the new guest, an amused smile on his lips as he glanced at the woman to see if she was following him.

Golden eyes blinked at Kurako. March over there? Like a soldier? In a war? Why would she want to do that? She wasn't a soldier at war. Kurako didn't make any sense. When she realized he'd already gone, Lyra moved to walk behind him. Soon though, she moved to walk more beside him, her confidence growing again. Though fragile as it was. As it was, the slightest sound or sudden movement would more than likely have Lyra jumping out of her skin or hiding behind Kurako. Sill, as they approached the other pair, Lyra found that the newcomer didn't look threatening at all. It was reassuring in some way, as was Kurako's word that she was safe here.

(Ooc in the ooc XD lol. I havn't played a pirate in awhile o.o)

Solaris looked back to the newcomer. She did not seem sure about this all still, and he could not blame her. He nodded, when she said about the tea. He smiled a bit, turning to lead her back inside. He noted the other's coming towards them, he would meet them halfway. It would be nice for them to get to know one another, to see that they are all safe here and not in any danger. Still, it was a new world to them. For many, it was different then theirs, far different. He could understand the feelings of uncertainty. He would probably feel the same if he would be the one to enter a new world. He wondered a bit about their worlds once more, sighing a bit. What kind of worlds were they, that made them want to escape? There were so many possible issues once could be facing, possibly more than one as well. He looked at Lune, then the other two, one after another. He felt bad, wanting to help them. The world around them seemed to brighten a bit, the sun shining brighter. Colors becoming subtly more vibrant. If one was not fully focused on it, they might not have noticed.

Lune moved closer to Solaris, her voice a slight whisper, but her eyes didn't seem to leave the two approaching them. "They were brought here too, by the impossible vanishing gate?" Perhaps that was the hardest part to understand, because things did not just disappear, and magic wasn't a real thing. Though Lune wasn't so sure about that anymore at all. Her eyes danced over their surroundings. The temple looked so huge but also pretty, it was like nothing she'd ever seen before, but then so was this entire scenery around her. "This is a pretty place." She spoke the words quietly, and seemed to shrink back just the tiniest bit as they came closer to the others. Her eyes on the blonde man, his hair tucked behind his ears, they were a bit pointy. Lune stared at them.

Kurako was running a gloved hand through his hair as they came to a halt in front of Solaris and the girl in the fancy dress. The half-elf looked her over, wondering how rich she was to have such a fancy dress. Not a princess, no she looked more like some other noble. A duchess maybe? He let those thoughts slip from his head, it didn't really matter. Then the fancy dressed girl was staring at his ears, and Kurako tensed slightly, though the way she was staring was similar to how this woman next to him had been looking earlier. It was as if these two girls had never seen a half-elf before. He shrugged and ignored the staring. "Sol, we got tired of waiting, so we came looking for you."

Solaris nodded at the question of the other. They had indeed gotten here the same way. He smiled at the second comment of it being a nice place. It was indeed, it could be very beautiful. Moments later though, the other male there besides him was coming over, and once more using that name. 'Sol'. He understood where it came from. The first three leters of his name, he guessed it was easier than calling him his full name maybe? He turned a bit red at the comment of having gotten tired of waiting. "Ah...forgive me...I seem to have gotten distracted" he glanced at the new comer with a smile, before remembering the shoes in his hands. He turned to the female who had come first, he still had not gotten her name.

He gave her a warm smile, "forgive me....I did retrieve the shoes though, if you like." Again, he could and would not force her to wear them. If she prefered her feet bare, that was alright. It was safe here to walk with out them, so she was in no immediate danger. He noted a look within her eyes, and his smile faded for a moment. He got the feeling something happened, something that was not good. A glance at the cloud in the distance confirmed as much...the cloud had gotten a bit bigger. They had not seemed to notice it, for that, he was glad. He wondered if he should tell them, but as soon as the thought crossed his mind, so did another dizzy feeling. His eyes blurred for a moment, a hand moving to his head. No...he should not say anything for now...they would learn soon.

Lyra stayed beside and slightly beyond Kurako. She was also noticing the other's fancy dress. They didn't have clothes or fabrics like those in her world. They were beautiful. Lyra wanted to touch the dress, but she would never do such a thing.

She frowned lightly at Kurako's words. Had he been tired of waiting? She'd not realized that that was why they ventured off to find Solaris. In fact, she hadn't really wanted to come and find him at all. Nevertheless, they were here, and all seemed well.

When Solaris handed her the shoes, she watched them reluctantly, as if they might be some kind of poisonous shoe. Finally she reached out and gently took hold of them. Her fingers accidentally brushed him, and images flooded Lyra. Her eyes went blank for a long moment as she stared at Solaris, though she wasn't seeing him.

Her features turned into worry and fear as she came out of the vision, and she cast her golden eyes to the ground, pulling the shoes to her body to clutch them with both hands. Something bad was going to happen. Lyra flinched when Solaris reached a hand up to his own head.

Should she tell the others? She couldn't. Lyra stepped back again, putting Kurako between her and the others, particularly Solaris. She suddenly seemed more wary of him than before. Those images. They had something to do with Solaris, or she wouldn't have seen them when she touched him. But why? And how?

"My name is Akira Kazuto, a pleasure to meet you. I look forward to studying you, anything you need to know about me, can be found here

Well, this was not going according to plan. Akira had his back against the wall, a sigh escaping his lips. He wondered once more, why he had been asked to take this field mission. He was not a field agent, he belonged in the operations room. This was something out of his norm, something he did not know how to deal with. The men standing before him were smirking, giving him looks that made him want to be sick. How could people honestly be so vulgar? He was used to having his looks noticed, but this was ridiculous. He tightened his hand on the hilt of his whip, glaring at the men pressing further back. He could not fail, he had to complete the mission. With all of this going on though, it only added to what he was already feeling. He wished he could just walk away from it all, for once escape all of this. He sighed, preparing to use his abilities, not noticing the gate behind him forming. It was not until it opened, that he registered it. That was because he was now falling back. His eyes widened a bit, before closing tightly. The men moved forward, but it was too late.

fell, expecting the worst for a moment, as the world seemed to slow around him. Moments later however, he was landing on something softer than he expected. Opening his eyes, the first thing he noticed was the bright sunlight. His pupils immediately shrinking like those of a cat, and he pulled an arm up to shield his face. “Ow...” he did not notice the others standing there still at the moment in time. He glanced down past his arm, to see the gate vanishing. Seriously? He blinked a bit, then registering the feeling of other minds around him. He looked up a bit curiously, seeing the others now standing there. “Heh….sorry for just…dropping in...” a cheesy line he thought, but it was the first thing that popped into his head. He rolled over, before pushing himself up to stand. The light way too bright, he slipped a hand into the pocket of his suit’s jacket, pulling out a slim pair of glasses. Instantly as he slid them on, the effect of the light dulled. He could see the others now clearly, and wondered for a moment if he was intruding. He blinked, feeling quite foolish for having no idea what was going on. His eyes did a quick scan, taking in every detail of the place and these people. Standard procedure, it was what he did. His eyes his greatest asset next to his mind.

He gave a smile, reaching a hand up to rub the back of his neck. “Sorry...” he said again, best not to appear as an enemy, “my name is Akira Kazuto….where is this?” His mind went back to the gate, and he turned to look where it had been. For a moment he once more forgot the others, as his curiosity got the better of him. He stepped around the place where it had been. “Odd….nothing I’ve seen before” he said to himself, before looking back at the buildings. He smiled then, a bit of excitement stirring within him. Something new to learn! That was seriously the first thought popping into his head…different than what normal beings would possibly be thinking of when literally dropping into a new world. He looked at the people now, more subjects to learn about! His eyes especially went to the one man, even though his hair blocked most of it, Akira’s eyes were better than others…were those elf ears? He blinked a bit, not realizing he might have been staring. He had never met an elf before, but then again…he had never been here before.

Lune watched the other woman curiously as she took the shoes and then stood there with a worried expression on her face. Was she alright? What could have suddenly caused such a look on her face? Lune wanted to say something, but she refrained from doing so. The other man looked like he would speak, but then someone was quite literally tumbling out of the gate.

Lune had jumped slightly at the suddenness of it, and reached for Solaris' arm. Clutching to it tightly, eyes wide. The gate had returned, but then it was disappearing so quickly again. A one way trip. She bit her bottom lip and stared at the newcomer, her hands still gripping Solaris' arm a bit tightly, tightly but with the delicateness that one would imagine came with being such a slight girl.

Kurako shrugged slightly when Solaris spoke, it wasn't really a big deal and walking around was better than just standing in that room waiting. He was watching the fancy dressed woman next to Solaris for a bit, his attention moved to the woman next to himself when she reached out to take the shoes. Her features changed a bit, and Kurako watched her intently. Was she communicating with Sol the way she had him? He wasn't sure, nor was he sure about the expression her face. His lips parted to speak, but the gate had appeared again and a man tumbled out of it.

The half-elf watched the new male rather intently now. Another guest of this place, or were they really prisoners here? Kurako hadn't decided yet, but it didn't matter right now, there was still time to figure that out. Probably. The man seemed intrigued about the disappearing gate, and then he was staring at Kurako. Though Kurako couldn't tell exactly where the man was looking, darkened glasses hid the stranger's eyes.

Patrin has feathery platinum blonde hair and golden eyes. His pale skin has dark brown spots, the same kind he has in his unicorn form. From the middle of his forehead sprouts a spiraling golden horn. His ears are much like a unicorns, soft and fury and the same pale white as his hair.

The forest was silent, save for the birds twittering in the trees, and squirrels scampering up and down trunks, or running around with their cheeks full of nuts. The white coated, white maned, unicorn snorted and pawed at the ground with his hooves. He twisted around, and surveyed his brown spotted flanks with golden eyes. With another shake of his head, Patrin's form twisted. He knelt, and curled over himself with a neigh ... A slow long sound that turned into a human-esque moan.

A man stood from the forest floor, and brushed branches and leaves from his pale skin. There was no sign of the unicorn, save for the fact that there was a horn sprouting from man's forehead, and fluffy ears from his head.

Patrin stepped forward on wobbly legs when something, an intricate gate, appeared before him. He glanced back at the forest, before walking through those doors and onto a place alien to him. There were no branches nearby to block him from a sight of the sky. A building made him shy back, and the sight of people nearby had him crying out and tumbling clumsily to the ground in a heap.

Lune and Lyra both jumped at the same time, as the man with yellow-orange eyes plopped into the strange world. He seemed more interested in the gate though, than afraid of this new place. It was curious to Lyra. How many people would this place bring here? When would it stop?

She jumped again as another fell into the world. Standing behind Kurako, she reached for his arm, grasping it with one hand to send her feelings of anxiety and fear, but also her questions of why? And how many? When would it stop? He wouldn't get them though. Not through his clothes.

Golden eyes looked between the two newcomers, to Solaris before finding the ground again. She couldn't look at him. There was something wrong here. Seriously wrong. She sent those feelings to Kurako as well, but he wouldn't get those for now either. She knew that, but it still made her feel better to send them away from herself.

Solaris smiled as she reached out to take the shoes. For a moment it was fine, but as their hands brushed, the feeling got stronger in his head. It was like a sudden bold of lightling struck through his head, unlocking his mind to see what she saw. A storm in darkness, flashes of the white marble of the temple having turned a crystal black. Feelings of darkness, pain and death sent through both their minds. Random faces, moving to fast to see who, in situations that only amplified the feelings. His hand clenched in his hair, the pounding increasing. The sounds and people around him seemed to fade at that, to where he did not notice the other two entering. one after another, but he did not even register it.

A growing sickness formed in him. What were those visions? Had she done them? No...somehow he had known them...they felt familiar but....He felt odd, opening his eyes a bit. He saw the others, but they were bluring a bit, swirling a bit, before it all went black. Solaris collapsed, his body falling upon the grass, which began to turn black underneath him, spreading out towards the other. It seemed to be dying, making a circle about a meter around him. His body did not move on the surface, but in his mind everything was circling. He was standing in a black scene, nothing around him. Slowly, little pinpricks of light began to form, dancing across the darkness like stars. Then forms appeared, like the world around him in reality, but it looked like a dark negative of a photograph.

He saw the people moving, the first male to enter moving to him. He could not speak, looking down he saw himself laying there. What was this? What was going on? He felt scared, but also calm, like this was normal. Was it? He looked at the girl who had seen what he had, before he noticed the male that had moved up to him looking at him. His eyes the only thing taking on color for a moment, before he turned to talk to the others. He could not hear words at the moment, just see his lips moving. Would they help him? He would not blame them if they didn't, his eyes turning away.

______________________________

Akira smiled a bit, looking at the others. He noted the female, catching the other's eyes for a moment. He could sense even without looking into her eyes, that she was a semi medium. He was about to speak again, when a second male came tumbling in. He jumpped back a bit to avoid him, instantly looking away as he noted the man had no clothes on. He watched the gate, watching it vanish, wondering if that had happened when he came through. He blinked, staring a bit, before he pulled off the coat to his suit. He tossed it over the other, so that he had at least something to cover up with. "There are women present" he said, not wanting to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Though then again, it might not be only the girls feeling off. The horn caught his attention then, his eyes moving over it as once more the wheels behind his eyes began turning.

He froze then, his eyes swiftly moving to the male who had suddenly collapsed. The grass dying around him, his eyebrows furrowed a bit. What an odd event? This place was just full of odd and new things! He was excited and unnerved, before he moved forward to the other. He kneeled by him, gently lifting his head to gently open his eyes a bit. There was little responce from him, but it was enough to get into his mind. He saw black, somethings that looked like stars. He glanced up, seeing what looked like another form of the male watching them. This was in his mind? He shook his head, before turning to look at the others. "He need some help, get some water please.." he was not about to let the other die, even if he did not know him.

That was not the kind of guy Akira was. At the same time, he had so many things he wanted to ask and learn about, that would not happen if something happened to someone. He glanced back down at him, before closing his eyes. He had established a small mental link, but with the other's mind in a fit, getting through it was hard. He frowned, his own mind pushing through the darkness. He caught glimpses of things that seemed to have been a trigger to this. It had something to do with that girl, the other medium. When she had touched him, it had triggered those visions, which had begun a chain reaction. What would happen next he wondered?

Another had come through the gate, but he was very naked. Lune squeaked, her face turning red and she was moving her hands to cover her eyes. Then Solaris collapsed next to her, and the grass began to turn black around him. Lune screamed a rather high pitched girlish scream of fright and began to back away, raising a hand to cover her lips, her heart pounding in her chest. A frightened, almost horrorified look on her face. She didn't take her eyes off of Solaris, or rather the grass that was dying and spreading out. Her hands had begun to shake. Grass didn't just die when someone fainted. What exactly was going on in this alien world?

When the naked man tumbled out, Kurako just blinked, quickly enough the other was covering him with a coat, and the half elf looked at the woman next to him. Her hand on his arm, then Solaris was collapsing and the other woman was screaming. The grass was dying around Sol and spreading out. That grass, Kurako frowned deeply and pulled his arm away from the woman next to him, he knelt to touch it with a gloved fingertip. Was it the same as when things he loved died? It seemed similar, but not quite the same, he grimaced lightly though and then stood.

The other man had taken charge of the situation it seemed, and Kurako looked between the two women for a moment, his eyes settling on the one that communicated by touch. "I think the two of you should go on inside." The other man was calling for water, Kurako looked around. Well there were water all around, the temple seemed built over a rushing river complete with a couple waterfalls. He had no cup though. Kurako turned and headed towards the closest source of the rushing water that he could easily access without having to scale up or down a cliff.

At the water's edge, he pulled one of his gloves off, he grimaced at the black lines that covered his right hand, and put the glove in the water. Filling it with water, it was a well made glove, like all of his clothes, though of course some water still leaked at the seams but it wouldn't be a lot. He shoved his right hand into a pocket, holding the water filled glove in his left hand, the half elf made his way quickly back to the collapsed Solaris, naked man, and the other man that had taken charge of the situation. "Here, it's the best I could do." He handed it over to the man with the dark glasses. Kurako kept that right hand hidden within his pocket, they didn't need to see, and he didn't want to answer any questions that would come with seeing.

There was so much wrong! So much worry and distress! Patrin reared up and stepped forward, toward the woman who had spoken not a word since he'd first arrived, to the woman who hadn't even screamed. He could feel the fear rolling off her. The athletic man-unicorn stopped before her, glanced down at the dying grass and shuddered. What was wrong? There was so much he simply didn't understand about this place he had found. But now ... he was certain of what to do. This was what he was used to, lowering his head to press his golden horn against a soft cheek to send waves of peace, of understanding and reassurance to one who was hurting, who was afraid and needed help. His gold-copper eyes closed as he concentrated on the one he was trying to help.

No sooner than Lyra had moved back, Solaris was falling. The grass was dying all around him, and she stared in wonder and horror. She knew there was something off about him. When the newcomer hurried to him and asked for water, Lyra only stood there, staring at that dead grass.

Kurako was saying that she and the other girl should go inside, and Lyra was perfectly fine with that idea. He rushed off to get water, and another man was tumbling into this world. He stumbled at Lune and knelt over Solaris, but Lyra wanted to leave, now. She wanted to get far away from all of these people.

Light golden eyes glanced at the other female. She seemed scared. Maybe even more scared than Lyra. Lyra would do as she was told though, and go inside. First, she reached her hand out to Lune in invitation to come, too. But quickly she closed her fist and stared down at it. She couldn't touch Lune. But perhaps the girl would come anyway.

Lyra went back the way she came. Whether she was alone or with Lune wouldn't matter, she was silent either way. Once inside the building, Lyra stopped, wondering where she was allowed to go, or where she could wait. Perhaps, she could even help somehow. But something inside her mostly just wanted to hide. Something was wrong, and bad things were coming. How could she warn the others? She glanced down at her hands again.

Akira glanced at the man as he brought over water, taking it from him with a nod. The one who was naked was then coming over, for the moment he was more in the way and his attempts were not helping. Good emotions would do nothing at the moment, his troubles were of the mind. He took ahold of the man's wrist, pulling him back enough for the moment to keep him out of the way. He lifted Solaris' head a bit, so he could put some of the water into his mouth to let him drink. He opened his eyes a bit, looking into them once more. "He needs rest, there is not much I...we can do for him out here" he says, looking up at the other man.

His eyes on him, he saw a flicker of something, but now was not the time to look into it. He turned his attention back onto Solaris, before he helped to gently move him. Nothing was physically wrong with him, but he was ok to move at least for the most part. The others could decide if they wished to help or not, some support would be nice. He adjusted his glasses a bit, hoping they would remain in place with all of this. The last thing he needed was having to stop because of the sunlight blinding him. But then again, it might have been because of his eyes, that he noted the change in the light around them. It was not as bright as it had been before. Everything had seem to gotten...darker.

One of the men suggested they go inside, but Lune was rather frozen to the spot for a moment. The woman seemed to reach out for her though, and then stopped. Wide eyes blinked and Lune hesitated before she was finally able to turn from the scene and follow the other woman towards the temple. Her heart pounded, she was afraid and worried about the man that had collapsed. He had seemed so nice, she didn't want anything bad happening to him.

Kurako shoved his gloveless hand a bit deeper into that pocket when the glasses wearing man looked at him, but he stayed close. Close enough to be useful, but not close enough to be in the way, his eyes darted to the other male. The one with a horn jutting from his forehead. A unicorn, then? It seemed likely but Kurako was silent, now wasn't the time for such speculations. They should take Solaris inside as well, that was the meaning he got from the other's words. The half-elf stepped forward, looking as if he were going to lift the prone man, but he hesitated. Stopping almost immediately.

Kurako was looking at the dead grass, but the grass wasn't the reason he had stopped. "I can carry him, if he's too heavy for you." He would have just picked Solaris up without permission, but then they would see the lines in his flesh. He didn't need that kind of attention right now, and all of their attention should be focused on Solaris, he was the one that had suddenly collapsed after all. So Kurako would wait for the other's response before moving and revealing anything the might not have to reveal.

Lyra turned to Lune. Lune looked scared maybe, worried, perhaps. Lyra couldn't very well ask her how she was feeling. She understood though. She could only assume that they were both feeling many of the same feelings. Lyra reached out, carefully, and placed her hand on the girl's shoulder where her own flesh only touched the cloth of the fancy dress.

Then she offered a warm smile. It was strange for Lyra. She'd never been able to offer comfort to anyone. She'd never been able to, but she'd also never wanted to. In her world, no amount of comforting gestures could hide what everyone knew would become of them. If, by some chance, Lyra's pinkie brushed Lune's skin, the girl would get a confusing mix of comfort along with terrifying images of what was to come of this place. Lyra would receive no feelings or images, as she was not actively searching nor accepting while thinking of other things.

((Kry, I left that totally open so you could decide if Lyra touched her or not. I just wanted you to have options. :) ))

Akira looks at the other, he offered to carry him. It probably would have been more efficient. Akira was not weak, but the assistance would give him time to focus more. He nodded, shifting the weight of the other, so he could be taken by this man. His eyes moved back to the other, the unicorn man who he had nudged aside earlier. "If you can, go see if the females are alright" he said, not wanting the other to merely just sit there. The girls were probably a bit freaked out about this as well. It had been quite the sight indeed. He turned away then and gave a nod to the man who was helping him. He made his way inside, looking for a room.

He found one not far inside, that was similar to the one where the girl had been healed before. He knew this only from a flicker of information he had got from the man's mind. It had been recent, so the information had been on the surface of the mind. He was not trying at the moment to look for anything to deep right now. He moved to a couch off to the side of the table within the center. They could lay him there, and he would be able to begin working on his mind a bit more in peace. He would have to speak to the girls later, more for his own peace of mind as well as theirs. If they were traumatized at all of this, he could help to ease their minds. He was also interested in speaking with the one he had felt the mental link to. Was she perhaps similar to him?

The horned man crossed his arms and dug his feet in stubbornly at the thought of listening to anyone, least of all a stranger. Instead of doing as he had been told to, Patrin fell into step beside the other men. What a strange world this was, and so very different from his own. The unicorn's ears twitched back and low as he thought of perhaps becoming someone's prey. Was that what had happened to the one who'd collapsed? He shook his head, and caught sight of a metal and transparent stone contraption settled on one of his companion's faces.

It looked odd.

Patrin reached out and poked at one of the metal wires holding the object in place. "What's this? And why are you wearing it?" He felt a twinge of guilt for not going to see if the young women needed help of some kind, for instead talking about something so ... frivolous, because of his own recalcitrant nature.

Lune felt the other woman's hand on her shoulder, and she turned toward the woman. Reaching up to grasp that hand gently, for support or to comfort the other woman, perhaps for a bit of both. Lune's skin touched the woman's and her eyes widened. A confusing influx of comforting emotions and terrifying images assaulted her, at first Lune did nothing but stand there, then in a moment she had crumbled to the floor, sobbing. Where had such terrible images come from? Lune didn't understand, but more than that, they had been frightening. No, far more than just frightening, they had been terrifying. Lune covered her face with her hands, sobbing, all she wanted was to go home, to return to her gilded cage. Anything would be better than this strange place, and those terrifying images she had seen.

Kurako suddenly regretted asking for help when the other consented, the half elf shifted on his feet and then moved to take Solaris. That hand coming out of his pocket, exposed. He grimaced slightly at it himself, then he was pulling Solaris close, cradling the man against his chest in that classic princess/bridal style way of carrying someone. Lavender eyes found the unicorn with a slight hint of surprise and disapproval in them. It seemed odd to him that the unicorn, if it really was a unicorn, had decided against seeing to the well being of two maidens. Weren't unicorns drawn to maidens? At least, in Kurako's world they were, and they were extremely rare, perhaps things were different in the unicorn's world?

He fell into step next to the man with glasses, and he shook his head slightly as the unicorn asked such an unimportant question. "Wouldn't it be better, for one such as you to check on the maidens?" He sent a meaningful glance towards the unicorn. The half-elf had worded his sentence rather deliberately, though he was unsure about this unicorn. Perhaps this one didn't like maidens at all. When he entered the room, Kurako moved to lay Solaris on the table, gently. Once that was done, he took some steps back, that black lined, exposed hand returning to his pocket immediately. They had no doubt seen it, but that didn't matter, he wasn't going to encourage their questioning by leaving himself so exposed, and the half elf would try to avoid any questions they did ask. Mostly because he probably wouldn't know any answers anyway, well nothing complicated at least.

He frowned once more at the other’s stubborn comment. He was then having the nerve to ask of his glasses. He sighed a bit, about to speak up, when the other did. He had reached over to take Solaris from him, and Akira’s eyes caught the sight of the lines without having to look directly at them. Now was not the time to be messing with that though, the other telling the other what he had told him before as well. He let it slide, he could idle chat with people later, if the other really wanted to know of his glasses.

When Solaris was laid down, he moved more to his side. He took a breath, and closed his eyes. He had already established a base link by looking into his eyes before. Now it was a matter of trying to dive a bit deeper. “Thank you” he said, though it might have seemed a tad out of place. He was thanking the other for helping him to carry the male into this place. He did not push about the lines, it was not his business, and he frankly did not care. He focused, once more feeling a darkness surround him. His eyes opened in his mind, but not in reality.

He could see himself, like Solaris had, in the black place that looked like the negative of a photograph at times. Little specks of light around that looked like stars. Looking down to the body, he wondered why the other was thinking of this. He had seen him before, as a physical being in his mind. Now however, he was not in the room with them. Where could he have gone? He sighed, beginning to move himself towards the door, while his body remained in the physical realm. After all, this was a projection of this other man’s mind, so this was what he was seeing, what he was hearing and such.

It seemed he could view the physical realm, even while he was out. His mind was very much active indeed. Glancing out the door, he looked down the hall for a moment. He sighed slightly, reaching up to take his glasses off in this mental realm. A person’s mind was their own, usually they were the master of it, and could decide the laws and reality of it. However, Akira’s mind and powers allowed him to in a sense, step outside the laws of another’s mind most of the time. It had taken hard training for him to get here, as good as he was.

Lyra's mind was overwhelmed with confusion, helplessness and fear among other things. It took her a long moment to realize why she was feeling this way, and to come back to her surroundings. She jerked her hand away from Lune and the girl was collapsing. Lyra gasped and knelt beside her, reaching out, but not touching her.

She sat like that for a moment, watching Lune. She didn't know what to do. And she certainly didn't think touching her again was a good idea. But she could explain that way, and perhaps, make her feel better. She bit her bottom lip in indecision. Finally Lyra reached out and gently touched the bare bit of arm exposed on Lune.

Lyra sent the girl feelings of comfort, trying to tell her it was okay. She explained by sending images of her hands touching people to learn about them and to communicate. She sent the image of herself touching Solaris as she accepted the shoes and then a very very brief clip of the horrible things they'd now both seen. She hoped Lune would understand now what had happened.

She sent feelings of sympathy, sorry she'd not been more careful. Though Lyra had thought it best to tell the others anyway. She certainly wouldn't have chosen to go about it this way though. Perhaps Lune could be the one to tell the others then. It would be much easier for her to speak to everyone at once. But Lyra wouldn't blame her if she couldn't.

When Lyra finally removed her hand, she cradled it against her chest and cast her eyes to the floor. Anxiety was building up in her again, and now she was unsure of how Lune would react to it all. She felt she'd messed up greatly, and contemplated leaving, returning to that room, or hiding, trying to leave this place maybe...

Lune wasn't going to move her hands, to look at Lyra when the other woman touched her, but then strange things were happening again. Feelings of comfort and sympathy and odd images again. Images of the other woman. Lune had stopped sobbing in surprise, hands moving away from her face so she could look at the other woman with wide, disbelieving, fearful eyes. How was such a thing possible? People didn't do things like that, people couldn't do things like that. The things that were happening, those only happened in fantasy novels and movies or weird t.v shows. This kind of thing didn't happen in real life.

Lune had no idea what to do, how to react or how to explain any of this to herself. When the other woman withdrew her hand, Lune reached for her then stopped. Uncertain and still not quite understanding, but one thing seemed clear. This woman communicated that way. It was all so strange though, and it didn't make any sense to Lune at all. Did everyone here have super powers, then? Lune was ordinary, well she had a secret, but it was still just ordinary, she didn't have any special powers or abilities. She was sobbing again, and suddenly she threw her arms around the other woman and clung to her. Sobbing against Lyra's shoulder.
