I hadn't even thought about doing one of the Camp sessions this year. I'll think about it over the course of today - Maybe it'll give me the chance to add on a few more chapters to my one novel and edit it.

I know what NaNoWriMo is, but what's Camp NaNoWriMo?

Camp NaNo are just sessions that happen in months other than November. They've set it up so that you can set your own word-count goals, and write any kind of writing project, like scripts, comics, or whatever. This year Camp is happening in April and June.

You say 'this' year Chex. That supposed to mean it's been in any other months besides July and April? I only know it for being in those two.

Hmm, I may have misremembered. April always used to be Script Frenzy, but they've retired that now. (Not sure when that happened, actually.) I thought that they'd had Camp sessions in June before, since that's a 30-day month but I haven't been super active with Camp, so I'm hardly an authority on this.

ah. I'm not sure either. I did camp in july last year, but that's it. I didn't know script frenzy was dead. I guess it makes sense though if camp is also in april.

Yeah. They folded script writing in with Camp, which I think makes more sense.

indeed it does. It's nice to have all the writing under one umbrella that you can just choose from.

Camp nanowrimo? I wish I had this when I was participating in NanoWrimo! I don't compete anymore, haven't had the time to, but when I did this would've been so dang helpful!
