I go to a quilting class with my grandma, in the beginning I went to learn new stitches and things but the lady who runs it only wants to show us things we already know.

My grandma loves that I go with her and I don't want to quit and disappoint her, but I'm spending ten dollars every lesson to learn nothing. What do you think I should do?

Learning how to master the basics is an important part of quilting, too. It's easy to mess up the little stuff. If you think about this class as a review, or use it as an opportunity to work on your current projects, then I'm sure that it's a worthwhile way to spend time with your grandma.

Or maybe ask around to see if this woman hosts more advanced classes? Or maybe there are some other ones going on in your community? If that particular class doesn't suit you, there's got to be some alternative options out there.
