You do so and enter the ballroom of the lavish manor house.
All around you, metallic reds, greens, and golds peek out from corners, shimmering
under the light thrown from a garland chandelier decked with white candles that hangs overhead.
Already, a slew of dancers are making their way across the
dance floor, keeping time with a lively holiday tune.

"Now, you may join in the festivities and have free reign of the estate, provided you follow a few simple guidelines."

He hands you a brief list of rules and smiles at you knowingly.
They read as follows:

☪ Follow Menewsha's Terms of Service.

☪ Those that beg and whinge will find not find gifts forthcoming. They are called GIFTS for a reason. One does not ask, one simply receives.

☪ Avoid visiting the Count's private quarters without first knocking and gaining express permission to enter from Count Klavien himself.

☪ Gifts are meant to be enjoyed. If earning gold for a precious item is your way of fully enjoying it, then feel free to do so. Count Klavien will not be offended.

☪ Be smart, be safe, do not leave the manor house alone after dark.

☪ Gifts are not likely to be bestowed upon complete strangers, so do stop by frequently so that the Count might get to know you a little better.


☪ Multiple gifts may be given to those whom the count deems worthy of such things.

☪ If Peeblo enters the manor, assume that the punch has been or will soon be spiked and avoid it or not at your own peril.

No, you don't have to tell me where you got it, just pass it in and get a mystery gift. Each number will have a corresponding gift that will change as people swap them out. For example, say someone chooses box #3, box #3 has a fox spirit in it and they trade in an omniscient eye, they get the fox spirit and the next person who chooses box #3 and puts something in gets the omniscient eye and so on.

Do watch out for the servants though, they don't particularly like being disturbed while they're working, and one of two of them might boot you out if you get in their way."

So if I picked box 10 for example, so I just send you something and I get something in exchange? Or do I pick a person to swap with?

You send something in and say which box you want and you get whatever's in that box. The item you sent then goes into that box for the next person who chooses it to happen upon.

Ah okay, I get you. (:

I have nothing to send anyway, I was just confused haha.
