Nothing much - I'm waiting for the boyfriend to get home from work while I talk to the other boyfriend. How about you?

I'm just browsing the internet. Finally decided to pop on for the event since I have time. I was too tired to last night. x_x I haven't been around much lately.

Busy with life?

I just signed up for Menewsha and lo and behold there's an event going on! I figured it was a great time to meet people before it was back to business for the site. Events always have a jump in activity on the site. Or at least they did at Gaia. Is it the same here?

Yeah. And other interests. I'm a big hermit. Sometimes I just don't want to talk to people. Sometimes meaning a lot XD And lately I've just preferred to read or watch videos and play a bit of Minecraft instead of trying to socialize on Menewsha. Plus, a lot of the people I used to talk to are also gone.

Menewsha definitely sees a huge jump of activity during events. People that aren't generally active will pop out of the woodworks to earn the event items. After the events, it gets pretty quiet except out of certain hangouts and other places. I couldn't say where those are right now. Wallflowers used to be pretty hopping, but a lot of those people drifted away. Including me. Oops!

These things happen, Cookie. What brought you back for the event - the event items themselves?

Hi there, tigerangel! How are you this evening?

I like to drag my thread out again for events and see who's still around. :D Events are fun, just to chit chat. It's really great for new people to grab a new wardrobe too. *hint hint* :D

I'd imagine so! With all the hanging out going on, it'd be difficult not to work up the gold for a new outfit.

Yeah, between chatting and the card game, you can collect a nice little stash of tokens to get things with. Plus, the outfits in the Event Shop are at their cheapest. Other than the Event items, everything else will become a regular item after the event is over, but they'll cost twice as much. Some people also use that as an opportunity to make money. They buy things now and after the event is over, they sell the items back to the shops to make a profit. I never do that. I'm too much of a hoarder >_>

I am good. Have been posting at the Mene event most of the day.
Have to work tomorrow though, so I'll be on after work.
I love event time.

How are ya'all?

I have work every day this week. Getting on will be tricky. Especially on Halloween. I'll be handing out treats. I decided to hand out bags of chips this year. It's something different XD

@Wanderer - On the bottom left hand corner of the screen, there's that little playing card icon with the heart in it. if you put your mouse over it, a button pops out. Click it and you play the Chance game. You can play it once every fifteen minutes in order to earn tokens.

Don't forget, the ace is the lowest card in the Chance game.

It's easy to ignore, like the little Mr. Mayor on the right. XD

It's a pretty easy game. I like to get out with a few tokens rather than try for the top and lose them all.

I just go if I think the odds are good. Of course, that means it always mocks me and the odds aren't as good as I thought. Going high on a two should be a good bet, but Chance always gets me. Ugh!

Damn chance!

Ugh. Still trying to figure out what I'm going to wear for Halloween. Might not have time to come up with anything interesting. Have a lot of baking to do on Wednesday. Going to bring cake to work. :D Pumpkin cake

Mmm...pumpkin cake sounds delish.
I'm dressing up as Cat Woman from Batman Returns, for work.
I finally finished my costume today.

It's a really tasty cake. Though I might make cupcakes this time. It's more involved, but more people can have them. When I made the cake last time, some fatty fattersons ate multiple pieces and other people got none. =/

I have a Ren Faire costume, but wouldn't be able to wear that to work. I need something easy that I can move around in. Was thinking Frida Kahlo, but hardly anyone would know who I was, even if I rocked the unibrow!
