I really want to save up to 1 billion bells and then just go on a shopping spree
but then once I get my other cartrage (if that ever happens) I'll be using that money for everything in that new town

I JUST GOT the sloppy sofa from marshal
he invited me to his house and asked if there was anything I wanted and I went over to the sofa thinking he'd say that it wasn't for sale but then my bells came up and omg I got the sofaaaaa

I play...off and on. I have my ds with my New Leaf sitting on my night stand but I haven't gotten to play on it for a really long time. I know I have a lot to do still with both my town's remodeling and re-furnishing my home for summer.

Is Harvest Moon like ACNL?

Yeah kind of. Do you play either one? I'd be willing to make a Harvest Moon thread, if there isn't one already.

Have you guys heard about this new thing coming out? Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer coming to 3DS, uses card-based amiibo | Polygon

Apparently it's going to be an amiibo-based interior design type of game. I thought it looked kinda cute, though I only have a regular 3DS and not the new one, so I'd have to buy some kind of scanning accessory for the amiibo cards. ><

Whaaaat? No i haven't heard about that. They are really going off the deep end with this amiibo thing huh? I personally think they are a waste of money. I got my youngest son a Luigi one (even though we don't have the new DS or WiiU, he has to use my brother's) and he can't really do much for it. In Mario Kart, you just get a Luigi jumpsuit and in Smash Bros, the Luigi was fighting on it's own. Maybe we don't understand what to do with it, but I think they are a waste of money. >.<;

Hopefully the Animal Crossing thing will be better though I will have to get some kind of reader too. I can't see buying a new DS just to use the amiibo function. We should probably get a WiiU, but meh.

Anyone play Animal Crossing yesterday? I think I got the whole egg set. I didn't get to play last year. I've got my mom playing it too, so I played with her yesterday and helped her figure things out. I was even nice enough to give her my blue diving suit. >.< Now I gotta go to the island to play those silly games to get another one.

Yeah I think so. Harvest Moon is more about farming and raising animals. The one we have, Two Towns or something like that, you do requests for villagers, so you go get what they want. Which I guess you do in Animal Crossing too. My youngest really likes Harvest Moon, and hasn't been letting me play it. LOL!

Because of their collectibility, amiibos really are selling like hotcakes now, so I don't blame them for running with the idea. I don't have any system that can use them, but I do collect a lot of figurines and such, so they do appeal to me just for the actual character figure. I believe in Smash, you're supposed to train and customize your amiibo, give it custom stat boosts or something, then you can have it fight other peoples' amiibos? I'm not certain though, I don't own the game or a Wii U either.

Oh, that was nice of you to give your mom your suit! I let my mom make a character in my town once, but she wasn't really feeling it, so I ended up deleting them because she chose a weird spot for her house. >_> If we set a date or something, maybe all of us can meet up and play island games together!

ah maybe that's why my brother is going gaga over them. I think he has just about all of the ones that are out right now.

I haven't been playing. I probably really should though, was on a misson to change my house and furniture inside.

I've been playing pretty much everyday, I finally caught up with the actual date a few months ago after being perpetually 3 months behind from frequent hiatuses. Redid my paths, planted a ton of trees... my favorite villager Gala moved out unexpectedly and I almost quit... ah, I've visited Tortimer Island a few times, met some nice people, mostly 9 year old trolls. I miss seeing you guys around though, even if it's just a "___ is online!" ping. :(

Aww... I really need to play again. I don't like summer months haha. i'm eagerly waiting for fall...

Winter is my least favorite animal crossing season... the leaves turn brown but the shrubs are still green, and everything else is white with patches of dirt... just really hard to make look nice.

I kind of like winter. To each their own. :)
