They're one and the same - jimmies and sprinkles, that is!
Jimmies are the New Yorker way of saying sprinkles, if my memory serves me correctly...
It's more of a local debate, since I'm from Philly, and well... There's quite an influx of Yorkers here. :lol:

Those sprinkles look delicious by the way! I love sprinkles! They're so fun and colorful, delicious too. o.o

Chocolate sprinkles are gross though. Rainbow ones are amazing. So are the little sugary sprinkles that look like little bits of colored sugar! xD

I have never in my life heard the word "jimmies," at least in reference to sprinkles. What a funny word. It sounds like somebody trying to open a window that's stuck.
