You get a random ingredient every time you post in the forums. Tomorrow you can use those to get event rares. There's a faq posted for more info. ^.^

The event lasts until the 1st, so you've got a week to earn what you want from the event.

Yeah you will have more than enough unless it is ot like Halloween and you have to have a whole lot more to get your EIs.
