Aaah! That makes sense, Captain. I usually do something like that too, actually... but I do try to collect the whole set of items if I can.

I try to get the whole set but right now it looks like I have to trade to get the ginger and if so I only have enough to make the gingerbread house.. :/

1) I'm in South Africa, so right now it's the night, while oher people may only just be getting online, so the forums seem sluggish to me during the day. Maybe it's the same for you?
2) Yes, but there are lots other people other than the regulars I keep seeing.
3a) The capes, dresses, food & mice. My boyfriend prefers the shirt-vests and the capes. =)
3b) For baking, I like what I'm wearing, plus the cuppy-cake clan.
4) I've never burned something yet, but I'm sure I will soon.

I did a quick count and I need 18 ginger to get the rest of the items and if I don't do any trades I have all fruit and frostings I need!

u_u I have to get 12 frosting, 11 fruit & 6 ginger to get to my goal. Bluh.

I don't think the forums are dead. Just depends on the time of day. I also don't think I'm seeing the same people...just depends on where I'm hanging. The even items have all been really nice, and I love the events on this site so, so much. But, yesterday, I kept on having bad bouts with burning the cake over and over. x___x Three times.
