Rylynne ~ Legs are difficult, especially on men when they have thinner hips than women. I find it quite hard to draw proportional legs when the hips they come out of are small.
Which is why I also agree that when they wear pants that cover the legs, they look so much better. ^^

In any case, using a mouse and being known for using a mouse when CGing will make it so that your effort on a piece is much more noticable. : D
Plus, when you do obtain a tablet, the change will be much easier and therefore your artistic ability will skyrocket!

@ Karayna : Hmm, I never thought of it in that way before. =O It's a good reason though. :3 My reason is just because men's legs in general are a lot straighter than women's, and I love drawing curves a LOT more than straight lines. D: I'm a swishy-lines sort of person. ^^;;

And yes, I find that pants save the helpless who can't draw legs right. xDDD;; <3<3

And hmm... I guess. D: But I'm not good at it yet, and need a lot of practice still. ;_; And I only have tried with a few samples in the first place, since it's definitely tedious. ^^;;

It feels a lot different on the computer than with a pencil and paper.
I personally prefer pencil and paper a lot more, because I can see the full image and everything, but I tend to draw really light, so it shows up like shit after I scan it. xD;
I've sort of given up on pencil sketches now. ;^;
Tablet sketches seem to appeal to more people, and ctrl+z is just so convenient... xD;
Still, I think tablet sketches are a little harder to do. O:
The proportions are completely out of whack when I zoom out. xDD
That's why I usually pencil sketch it first, then lineart over it on the computer. :P
Still, I have to say, pencil lines are just irreplaceable. <3
I've seen some amazing things done traditionally that can't be recreated with CG. xP

I'm still trying to add variety to poses though. ^^;; And no, I don't cheat. D: I.. umm... practice? 8DD;;

And oh! I do squiggly lines like ghosts too! 8DD;; I do it more with arms though. ^^;; I like to hide my hands as much as possible. D:
