The path between good and evil is pretty obvious right? Wrong....there are many shade's of grey. No matter how people would like things to be simple, more often then not, they are complicated. Haven Academy is a school for those who follow the path of the light. They are tought how to combat the darkness and purify the world. They are the worlds future hope against the growing demonic army. All wish to hear that they are doing the right thing, that this is what needs to be done to save the world and help those who have strayed from the path to regain their place before judgement day, and all is lost....but things are not that simple right. A dark secret is hidden within these walls of light. What is this secret? Step inside and find out.....

Haven Academy is a school for those who are being trained to save and protect the world from mainly the demon army that is growing, but I will allow other creatures as well, or other types of beings. They hope to gain the support of the so called people who have straid from the path of light as they call it. There seems to be a dark secret going on in the school. In their fight the students were always able to just stop their enemies from doing whatever they were trying to do and call it a day. The higher ups in the school begin to believe that this will do nothing. The only way to 'erraticate the darkness', is to destroy it completely. They begin to have others hunt down demons and others behind the scenes to kill them. This goes against what the students have always been taught, and when they find out...things go haywire.

School Rules:
1. Fighting within the school grounds, unless in the training rooms is forbidden.
2. Going out of dorms after hours will result in detition.
3. Killing is concidered a high crime.
4. Cheating will not be tollerated.
5. Insubordination will not be tolerated
6. Disrespect, and failure to follow orders is concidered insubordination, and will not be tollerated
7. Threatening other students and teachers is taken as an offense and punishable.
8. Animals are not allowed outside the animal center.
9. Skipping, being late to class will not be tollerated.
10. Being out of uniform during school hours is not tollerated.
11. Distruction of school property is not tollerated.
12. Access to restricted area's is prohibated, and will not be tollerated.
13. Failure to continually complete assignments, may result in punishment.
14. Pranks, bullying, and rudeness towards others are not tollerated.
15. Restricted use of school materials (books, computer's, equipment) is prohibited.
16. Weapons are not allowed by any means, all equipment must be registered with the office, and will be kept safe until needed.
17. Spray paint, drugs, and alcohol is forbidden, anyone caught with it will face expulsion

Soft music played out of the radio as Rue, in a pair of old training short and a tank top, took in her finished dorm room. The only thing that needed to be done now was unpacking her books. She wasn't sure how much more strain the old bookcase could take but Sen had given it to her when she started at the Academy and she was loath to get rid of it. So she kept all school related books on the windowsill by her bed. Mostly they were her books on Runes and ancient civilizations.Humming along with the radio she moved over to shut the door, she had left it open in case her brother came by to say hi, so that she could change into something more appropriate for walking the halls.Thirty minutes later she was making her way,slowly, to Sen's office it was the last time she would get o see him as her brother and not a professor.. She kept getting stopped by kids from her class last year.


The meeting had ended just a few short minutes before they had opened the gates to let the students start moving back in. Now Sen sat in his office thinking over what the headmaster had talked about. More demonic activity was troubling the fact the one of the staff members had offered up the idea of taking students with them on the hunts was more so. Leaning back in his chair the blond male let out a long sigh before being grateful he didn't have to bother with difficult stuff like that. All he had to do was teach and shoot. He could do both Thinking of teaching he had to remember to make a trip down to the office sometime today and acquire some of the bothersome but much needed permission from their Headmaster to bring in some medieval weapons as a teaching aid.

There went Elie's fourth can of mountain dew that morning as she threw the can into her king-size trash can. Loud music echoed around her room as she unpacked the last of her bags. She made her cousin carry all ten of her heavy bags up to her dorm since she had thought that Will didn't have any bags to bring into his dorm. Might as well make him useful right? she thought as she tried to find an outfit to wear to look around the school. Soon Elie found the perfect outfit. It was a short sleeved white jacket and jean shorts with brown flats, she also had on a cute tee on the inside. She clipped her short brown hair to the side and grabbed a mountain dew then she left. As she went exploring she was entranced by the art work that's been put on the ceiling, walls, floors, windows and etc.
Usually she would be hopping around the building because of the soda but it seemed like she was enchanted by the details and art printed throughout the whole building and before she knew it, she got lost. Not wanting to ask somebody for directions since she thought she might look like an idiot, Elie just walked around with a pop in her hand, until she saw a girl with hazelnut hair and a really pretty aura. Elie ran up to her and greeted her, "Hi I'm Elie and you have the most prettiest aura I have ever seen."
He gasped as he finally fell on his bed trying to catch his breath. He had to carry all ten of his cousin's bag up the stairs and into the far end of the girls' dormitory, plus his own bags to his own dorm too. Sometimes, he thought angrily, I want to strangle that stupid Elephant so hard that she explodes mountain dew juices.
When Will finally caught his breath he started to unpack his own things. He stacked all of his books needed for his classes on the book shelf on the far end corner and put his radio/alarm clock by his bed. Then Will remembered he could have his Celestia unpack all of his things, since they lost a bet they had with him. Will stood in the middle of the room an muttered an incantation that let him form a magic circle then he called out the Celestia he wanted, "Now, I call forth the great warrior, Hikaru!" soon a classy man wearing a black striped suit and tie with blue sunglasses and spiky orange hair poofed in the middle of the room with an irritated look on his face. Haru grinned and ordered, "You lost the bet! Now unpack all of the things in my bag and set them in an orderly and organized way. Thanks!"
Then Haru left and decided to wonder around, hoping to find someone he should at least know.

Haru Yuki

Haru walked down the hall, messing with the gloves on his hands. This uniform was strange, but if he was gonna attend the academy, he had to wear it. He sighs lightly, and looks up ahead of him. He was headed towards the doorms, he wondered who he would be sharing a dorm with. He tilts his head, he hoped it wasn't Zane. He had herd strange things about that guy. He enters the main room of the dorm. "Hello?....Anyone here?" he moved to his room, he had chosen the one on the right of the bathroom, he was more of a right kind of guy. Right handed, right side of the bed, right side of the table... He laughs at himself a bit, he was such a dork. His hand runs over the dresser top, he was gonna have to do some remoddling within the room later. He sighs a bit and sits on the bed. He wondered where his dorm mate was. He hoped he was a nice guy, it was a new dorm system since last year, they had spent the whole summer remoddling. He liked it, it gave the students indipendence, while also gave them that social interraction. He lays back and smiled, he hoped he got back soon.

Zane Knight

Zane tossed his bag on the bed. This was good, so far he had the entire dorm to himself. He smiles, it would make it easier to stretch his demon legs at night. Not that anyone knew he was a demon that was. He spun lightly to turn and looks at the study room. It was going to need a bit of color, he hated the dull white paint. A smirk forms on his face once more, and he walked back out to the door. He would go see the rest of the school, he needed to get familiar with his surroundings, he also wanted to check out where the secure areas were, for future references. He walks along the hall, pass the stares that led to the female dorms. A light glare is shot in their direction, females were a waste of time. Always all over guys, flirting and doing whatever they pleased. They were nothing more of a distraction to him.He shakes his head, and keeps walking.

Vincent Darkwing

Vincent traced the sapphire that hung from the collar around his neck. He wondered if there was a way to remove it without...He stops, his eyes moving to the left as another teacher passed and glanced in his direction. He sighs, if they allerted the headmaster, he would be punished for trying to escape. He shakes his head, the man had even gon as far as to put Vincent in one of the teacher appartments to keep an eye on him. He sighs lightly, and moves down the hall away from the mirror. He wondered if he should go check out his classroom. The only reason why he had been captured and allowed to live was for his knowledge, and what he could teach the students, of course he was not allowed to tell them this. If he did, he would most likely be repramended. He shakes his head, running his fingers through his black hair. This was going to be a long year.

Waving bye to the group of girls from a the class below her Rue turned towards the shorter girl that had approached her.She arched an eyebrow at the most prettiest comment. She wasn't going to be a grammar Nazi to someone who looked like a freshmen. Instead she smiled at the younger girl, who could see auras it seems. It wasn't the oddest thing someone could do in the school."Well thank you. I'm Rue Aescar." From where she was standing she could see the top of a very familiar head of silver hair. If it wasn't for the fact that she had Zane Knight in more classes then she cared for the fact that most of the students gathered near the stairs moved away as if he was the plague would have given away who it was. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes. Sure he had an attitude problem but really they were training to fight off demon one punk kid shouldn't scare them off so easily.Bringing her attention back down to the girl in front of her she smiled. "I take it you're new here?"




The ringing of his personal cell phone dragged him out of his thoughts about the upcoming school year. There was only one, well really two, person that called him on that number this time of year. His father. Rue didn't have a cell phone and the was the only way her mother could check in on her. He could understand why they would call. He had allowed his step sister to spend most of the summer living in the spar room of his apartment so that he could give her some extra training in hand to hand combat. She had also shown an interest in archery but he encouraged her to keep up the work on her Rune studies. Flipping open the phone, after letting it ring a couple more times, he hit ignore. He knew what they wanted and Rue wasn't here yet so he'd just let her call them back when she found her way to hid office. Or he could go get some practice in. Scribbling a note that let his little sister know that he was in the training area, and wasn't it just silly that he had to tell his younger step sister of eleven years where he was going to be. But he knew she was coming and it was only right.Garbing his briefcase from beside his desk he walked outed of his office and towards the training grounds.

Elie immediately felt a tad bit jealous of the upperclassman, probably of how mature and pretty she was while she was just... Elie with a Mountain Dew addiction. She quickly brushed that little thought away and tried to erase herself of all of the negative thoughts that make her feel weird. Weird and Elie is not a good combination since the brunette was already weird enough that she sleeps with a whale stuffed animal and a can of Mountain Dew. Which is also why she's never gone on a date before, because she scares all the boys away from being so hyper all the time that it's too much. But today is a lucky day for her because she's just calmer than usual. Probably a lucky day for everyone. Replying to Rue's question, Elie just grinned, "Yep, I'm new and you came at the right time!" she scratched her head. "I kind of got lost.."
Feeling awkward, Elie glanced around her surroundings and looking at all of the different types of auras until one person caught her eye. It was a punk kid who looked a bit older than her with spiky silver hair and a topaz eye. He looked really, really cool. "Who's that..?"
Feeling bored, Will walked back to his dorm but before he went back he decided to go sneak into his cousin's dorm to steal some sodas. Luckily the sophomore made out of the girls' dormitory without getting caught. It wasn't like he wanted to watch girls undressing themselves, it took too much of a risk so he just didn't bother. While Finn was heading towards his dorm, he wondered what his roommate was like. He hoped it wasn't that Zane guy, he kind of gave a creepy feeling that made Will just get out of his way. Finally reaching his dorm, Will opened the door and there was his roommate. His roommate had shaggy brown hair with goggles. Will thought that this person looked really familiar to him so he decided to greet himself. "Hey, I'm Will. Want a pop?"
Jane searched under her desk for her missing blue pen that writes all sparkly and blue. Her desk was a huge mess and what made matters worse was that all the neat files on her desk that she had spent hours organizing were all knocked down. Jane sighed and grabbed her glasses to cleaned them with her handkerchief that she grabbed from her back pocket.
Lately there has been more demonic activity than usual, which seemed no surprise to her. But the odd part of the increase of the demonic activity is that it's not decreasing as fast as it should. She would rather not bring the students into fighting off the demons since they seem they're clearly not ready for battle yet. Also she knew that there would be a couple students that show promise, but Jane decided against it. Maybe they're ready in a physical way but not in an mental way. The headmaster sighed and decided for now the teachers would just hold them off and until the time is right, she would let the promising students defeat the demons altogether along with the teachers and her. It seems like a reckless idea right now but that's all that Jane could think of in her scatterbrained head. Deciding to let go of the issue for now, Jane decided to clean up her office a little bit since it looked too messy for a headmaster such as herself.

"That", Her sweet voice took on a slightly harder tone though she still smiled. " Is Zane Knight. He's in my class he's the Academy's personal delinquent." He had also been her personal headache last year when she had tried in vain to reach out to him and get him more involved with the school. She had all but given in to the deep urge to hit him over the head with something large and heavy by the end of the year. Rue glanced over her shoulder shooting the back of his head a glare. She had spent half of the summer ranting about Zane to her brother and the other half telling him how he wasn't worth her effort.
Turning back to face the younger girl her face fell into it's more natural smile."Would you like a tour of the school?" She asked Eli brushing off thoughts of irritating silver haired delinquents. She had the whole rest of the day before Sen stopped being her brother had was just another professor, she would catch him at the end of the day.

Haru looked up at the guy who had come in, and was now offering him a soda. Slowly he takes it and nods, smiling warmly. "Names Haru...Haru Yuki. Looks like we will be roomates now" he says. He liked the thought of having a roomate, someone to talk to. He wasn't one for being left alone. Opening the soda, he slowly takes a sip his mind drifting to what the other students would be like. Would they be nice? Would they like him. He hoped so, if they didn't, this was going to be a long year. His eyes move back to his roomate, as he tunes back in to what he was saying.

Zane takes a breath, then turns looking over his shoulder in time to catch the girl's glare. He merely smiled, this was so ammusing. He leaned back against the wall behind him, he wondered who the girl standing by the other. He shakes his head a bit, and then turns to go back to his own personal tour. He didn't want to waste any more time in this hall. Heading towards the west wing, he wondered where the teacher's appartments were. He herd there was a demonic teacher here, it would be good to get close to him. Other then that, he wanted to see the headmaster, the discraceful person behind the erratication of his family.

Soon Rue's aura had little specks of an ugly, mustard yellow ruining her pretty aura. Elise's coughed a little since she never did like anything negative since it usually made her feel weird. She opened the can of Mountain Dew and started sipping it so she could relieve the feeling that's making her feel weird. Turnin her focus on the upperclassman, Zane Knight, she had started to take a liking to the delinquent. Not in a love-at-first-sight kind of way, it was a feeling of well... She can't really describe it but he reminded her of these characters from a book called The Outsiders and ever since she read that book, she started to see delinquents in a new light.
Then the specks of the mustard yellow disappeared from Rue's aura and Elie decided that the older girl doesn't like Zane. Elie grinned again in reply to Rue's question and gave a thumbs up, "If you wouldn't mind, thank you! And what grade are you going to be this year?"
Will opened his soda and drank the sweet but citrus taste of the soda. Nothing like a good soda to freshen up my day, thought the sophomore as he burped. Then he remembered who this boy was and then he realized he was being rude to the nicest kid in school. "Oh, uh sorry about that... I sort of picked up some of the weirdness from my cousins." Will said scratching his head. Trying not to feel awkward, he looked around the dorm and noticed that all of his things were put into the right places just the way he liked it. He knew he was going to treat his Celestia later for what they had done, or more like what Hikaru had done. Will took a sip from his soda and asked, "So, you're my age right?"

"I am sixteen" Haru says. He sat his soda on the table, and watched the male glance off towards his own room. He wondered a bit what the guy was thinking. He smiles slightly, and stands from his bed. "So how do you like it here so far?" he asks curious about what this boy thought of the school, he was also wondering what he thought of Haru a bit, but kept that part more to himself. He walks to his bag, and opens it up, pulling a picture of his family from it, he sat it on the dresser, it was good to have them close, he was going to miss seeing them every day..

The arrow cut through the air landing in the the center of the dummy's "heart" across the field. The training area was quiet and empty, by this time tomorrow one would be hard pressed to find it that way again. Sen took advantage of the time alone on the field to think, plan the nest hunt. Their numbers were growing and with the school year starting the number of members in a hunting group would be greatly diminished. Someone had to watch over the students. Knocking another arrow he took aim at one of the moving targets that hung from the ceiling. Of course they could use some of the senior class, the ones at the top of the class that showed they were ready to be told to truth about their school. Letting the air fly he watched with distracted eyes as it hit it's mark, how would the students take it if the learned that the teachers who taught them that to killing, even killing demons was evil went out to do just that. Their little headmaster would have an uprising on her hands. He should go pay her a visit, he was very interested in that new little pet she was parading around as a teacher. Their fearless leader's action always did amuse and confuse him.



"I'm starting my Junior year.So if you have any questions feel free to come to me. Whether they be about school work or the training, it gets pretty intense." She had been lucky to have had Sen already helping her get use to all the physical strain the Academy put their students through. Glancing back over at the stairs she let out a little sigh when she saw that Zane was no longer darkening that particular doorway. ' pervert creeping around the girl's hall.' " Follow me," Rue went through a list of all the places Elie would need to know about before rearranging it into a mental map to follow. First she would show her to the building were classes were held, next the training areas, then the cafeteria and other student areas. "Of course I can't take you to the restricted areas but I'll point them out to you." Heading for the stairs she politely waved to the girls that she had been talking to earlier and some the the ones from her own class. " So what classes are you taking?" it would help narrow done where to take her first, no need to over load the girl. Plus she seemed nice, a little weird but nice like a kid sister.

Sixteen huh? Just like me, Will thought as he was getting ready to burp the loudest burp of mankind. But decided against it since well, he didn't know because he felt awkward burping as loud as he can to a person he barely knows. He'll get to know Haru sooner or later since they're now roommates. Swallowing the soon-to-be loudest burp Will took a drink out of his soda and then he noticed his roommate looking at a picture of his family. Will thought that Haru has a good looking family just from glancing at the picture. He remembered his Mom who's a stoner. Will's Mom didn't care much for him and he didn't care much for her either. And once his mother abandoned him, he felt nothing all he felt was his relief of staying at his cousins' place for the time being. He walked towards where Haru sat and took a long look at the picture, "What a nice looking family you got there."
Elie had drank most of her Mountain Dew and she started shaking the can to see if there was any more. Sadly there wasn't anymore and the freshman squished the can and tossed it in the nearby trash can. As Elie followed the older girl to all of the places in school, she was surprised. Not just how spacious and big the school is, but just how detailed the designs were on the school. It was like walking through a museum rather than an academy. As she looked around the places Rue showed her, Elie kept on saying "ooh" or "ahh" in a genuinely way. She was actually intrigued by her surroundings. Replying to Rue's question Elie started twirling her hair, "I'm taking most of the advanced classes. Though I don't look like it, I'm actually pretty smart. Well, according to my brother that is."

Haru looks over at his dorm mate. "Oh um, thanks I suppose it is" he gave a fakish smile, and turned back to his dorm mate. "Have you got your room set up at all?" he was curious about what the other's style was. He himself was more of the simple and conserved type. He was told he could be a bit boring since he dosn't have much of a style. He sighs lightly, but shakes the thought from his mind. He smiles a bit once more, and looks at her. He sits back down on the bed, and then takes another drink from the soda he had been given before.

The girl's excitement was contagious and Rue found herself becoming slightly more animated as the tour went on. They were leaving the academics building and making their way over to the training area. "Oh then you'll have History with my older brother Sen, or well Professor Magi now that school will be starting up soon." Other students were giving out tours or just wondering around the campus with friends and Rue made sure to point out all of the officials from each class to Elie.Stopping briefly to talk to one of her classmates from last year about a meeting that was going to be held tomorrow after classes. "Sorry about that." By the time they reached the training grounds the number of students they had run into had thinned out. No one wanted to train on the first day. The building where mot of the training was held was locked, only teachers or those with supervision were allowed inside. However she could still show the younger girl the out door training areas.

After Jane had finally finished cleaning up her office a little, she decided to go speak with Sen about what he thinks about the students this year and about Vincent. The little headmaster doesn't really call him her pet nor does she call him a demon, she doesn't really call him anything other than Vincent. Well since she is sort of a little messy at this moment and she needed somebody to talk to. She headed towards the classrooms where the advanced history teacher might be at, but he wasn't there. Jane sighed and wished she had a PA system throughout the whole school, but she was too lazy to do that. So then she headed towards the training grounds and found out barely anybody was there, all except Sen.
The little headmaster grinned and waved a little, "Hey, would you mind if we have a little talk?"
Will took a sip from his soda and thought of how Elie would've drank hers by now. She's probably done drinking her fifth one since she's so nervous about school. the junior thought while chuckling on the thought. He glanced around his roommate's room, noticing how simple it is since there wasn't any posters or anything, it made him wonder if Haru's room is done being decorated.. Replying to Haru's question Will replied, "Ah, well... I'm almost done setting my room up. All I need to do is change the wall color navy blue and hang up a couple of posters. But if the school won't let me paint my room, then that means I'm nearly done."
The junior gave his roommate's room a quick glance around and sipped his soda, "Are you done setting your room up?"
Elie noticed how many kids there were roaming around the building. It made her feel even more nervous about highschool life. She seriously wished she had another can of Moutain Dew to cure her highschool jitters. While Rue gave the freshmen a tour, she realized how popular-like the junior was since just about everybody in the school knew about her. And what surprised the freshman the most was that this girl is a vice president. Very superficial. The brunette quickly brushed the feeling of nervousness off and went to look at what Rue was pointing her to. She then realized that they had stopped by the training ground and this is what made Elie really want to explore.
The training ground seemed vast and open to the point where you would want to roll on the grass. Elie looked up at Rue with puppy dog eyes, "Can we go in there?"

Haru tilts his head, then looks around his plain room. He suddenly felt a bit embarassed about the dullness. "Oh, um no. I was planning on um...spicing it up a bit." He gives a laugh, rubbing the back of his neck, and shakes his head, he must sound like a total fool now to the other student. He suddenly wished he could just vanish from the room and redo what they had been talking about. With no chance in that happening, he turns and walks to the window, opening the curtains to let some light in.


Vincent sighed, his room was so dark and depressing as always. He wondered if the students would be afraid of him as always. They probrably thought demons were still horrible beasts who only lived to kill. "Tch....foolish mortals" a sigh escapes him, and he begins to rearrange things to give the room a much more inviting warm feel. He may be a demon, but he still had class and flare of his own, he wouldd not let others make him out to be somee beast, but then again, if they got on his bad side, he always could show them his claws.
