Crystal Tokyo. A sparkling future for the planet Earth: a world of freedom and peace ruled by a fair and just Queen, Neo-Queen Serenity, Queen of both Moon and Earth. By her side was King Endymion, rightful King of the Earth from times long past. Together they ruled over the Earth, protecting their people from the harm of the Negaverse with the help of their Sailor Soldiers: Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus. In the outskirts of the universe, fighting the Dark Kingdom as they attempt to break into the solar system, are Sailor Soldiers Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Pluto, and Sailor Saturn.
Though the Crystal Palace was a place that represented peace, love, and justice, it was known that the Negaverse could strike at any moment and they had to be prepared. This was proven when Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion had a child, a daughter called Serenity, named so after her mother and grandmother. Referred to as Small Lady Serenity by the Sailor Soldiers who protected Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion, but nicknamed Rini by her mother and father, Princess Serenity grew up in Crystal Tokyo during a very peaceful time. However, when she was a small child, the Negaverse’s Black Moon Clan of Planet Nemesis, led by Prince Diamond, attacked Crystal Tokyo in an attempt to take Neo-Queen Serenity and the power of her Silver Crystal and turn it to the dark side, using Small Lady Serenity as the key to their success by transforming her into Black Lady, a dark and twisted form of the bright and innocent Small Lady Serenity.
It was through this incident that Small Lady Serenity saw the true power of her mother, Neo-Queen Serenity, and the power of her Sailor Soldiers. Through the Portal of Space and Time, opened by Sailor Pluto and the Time Key stolen by Small Lady Serenity, Rini brings the Sailor Soldiers of the past to free her mother and her soldiers from their crystal prison. Through the strength of Sailor Moon and the Sailor Soldiers, Neo-Queen Serenity and her soldiers were revived and Black Lady was returned to her innocent form, Small Lady Serenity. Feeling helpless and unable to help during the attack, and feeling weak for being tricked into becoming a Dark Lady, Rini wanted to become strong like her mother, Sailor Moon. It was then that Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion decided to send Small Lady Serenity to the past to learn from Sailor Moon, Neo-Queen Serenity’s younger self. Sailor Moon would train young Serenity to become Sailor Mini-Moon, a Sailor Scout in her own right wielding the future’s Silver Millennium Crystal. It was then that Queen Nehellenia attacked, and Princess Lady Serenity found Helios.
Nehellenia, a vessel of Chaos just as past Dark Kingdom “Queens” were, was a jealous woman who wished to remain beautiful and young forever, taking her place as the heir of the Moon Kingdom. For thousands of years she was trapped in a dark mirror by Queen Serenity, Neo-Queen Serenity’s mother, and was cast out and forgotten. It was her curse that destroyed the Moon Kingdom all those years ago, yet it was the same curse that brought Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion back together once more to form Crystal Tokyo. Queen Nehellenia was not only envious of the beauty, but of the ending she was supposed to have as rightful Queen of the Moon Kingdom. Craving the Silver Moon Crystal’s power, Queen Nehellenia set off to destroy Sailor Moon and her soldiers and take the crystal that was “rightfully” hers, using her servants in the meantime to collect beautiful dreams for her to feed off of to stay young and beautiful.
Awakening Small Lady Serenity’s Sailor Soldiers prematurely, Queen Nehellenia brainwashed Sailor Vesta, Sailor Pallas, Sailor Ceres, and Sailor Juno and transformed them into the Dead Moon circus act called the Amazoness Quartet. Their true identities unknown, the Amazoness Quartet, CereCere, PallaPalla, JunJun, and VesVes fought with Queen Nehellenia against the Sailor Soldiers and Helios for the Golden Crystal: a crystal that Queen Nehellenia needed to take over the universe and steal Neo-Queen Serenity’s Silver Crystal, and a crystal that Helios guarded in the land of Elysion. She needed this crystal because it was the key to Earth’s undoing. If she corrupted Earth from within, it was only a matter of time before Earth was hers, and she could take the Silver Crystal permanently and rule over Earth and the Moon Kingdom for eternity. However, she didn’t count on Helio’s resolve or his ability to free his spirit from his body and escape her darkness as it consumed Elysion.
Bound to King Endymion as the Guadian of Earth and Elysion, Helios was a sworn protector to Crystal Tokyo as well as the Golden Crystal. This crystal was hidden away inside of King Endymion’s body, the crystal being a part of his essence and the Earth just as the Silver Crystal was a part of Neo-Queen Serenity’s essence and the Moon. Helios was brave and protected the Golden Crystal that through his bond was his to protect, and set off in search of the young maiden of his dreams who could break the seal. Believing the young maiden was Sailor Moon, he took refuge in Small Lady Serenity’s beautiful dreams while she was in the past learning from Sailor Moon how to become a better soldier and Queen, unbeknownst to him at the time.
Through Helios’s aid, the Sailor Soldiers who fought for Sailor Moon were able to retrieve their own Sailor Crystals that strengthened their powers and allowed them to take on Queen Nehellenia’s army from the Negaverse. It was the love and strength that bonded Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion that awakened the Golden Crystal and sent Queen Nehellenia back to her childhood to start over again, away from the corruption of Chaos to hopefully start her life anew without the anger and resentment she once carried within her. When the danger was over and the darkness vanquished, Helios returned to his body in Elysion, but not before making his feelings for the Princess Lady Serenity known. As time went on, Helios and Rini grew closer in Crystal Tokyo. Rini’s Sailor Soldiers, freed from Nehellenia’s brainwashing with the help of Neo-Queen Serenity and her Silver Crystal, protected her and watched over her as she made her way between Crystal Tokyo and Elysion.
It is here that our story begins. A young Princess growing into her role as future Queen of Crystal Tokyo, yet a young girl who is trying to find her way in the world of love and trust. Will the Negaverse strike again, despite its many failed attempts? Will Princess Lady Serenity be able to find true love in Helios, guardian of Elysion? Will her growing power as Sailor Mini-Moon be enough to save Crystal Tokyo and those she loves?
