I understand how you feel. In my small team at work, we are counting down the time till our supervisor loses his status as a result of restructuring. We are all quite displeased with how the hardest he works is when he is trying to avoid doing work. Granted he is the master of escaping work, in a small team this can be quite burdensome for the rest of us.

Yup it basically is worse then being a person short, like they are working against you O.O
I've always had to play a little bit of clean up after her shifts but actually have to endure the whole time with her is unbearable. I can see why others were putting in refusals to work with her.

Haha yeah. Is it just her work performance, or is her personality also quite undesirable. At least with the supervisor in question, he is a easy person to get along with. If I only knew him outside of the workplace, I would think him to be a pretty awesome fellow. Unfortunately I know him at work. Where his skills are so great he can make a 10 - 20 min task last him about 2 hours.

Nope she's condescending and egotistical, basically she loves negative attention which I have never seen before. To her authority means she's right and gets to play on her phone all day.

I am guessing you will be allowed to get away with my tactic then. As to get through the days I will give him occasional frights. Although in saying that, I try to give many people frights at work. Is it too late for you to put in a refusal to work with her too?

lol The only reason I'm working with her is because I work with my husband and he's the manager just below her. He's been set to baby sit her and basically gather more evidence to fire or demote and transfer her, so either way it's not for long.

Who set him to gather info on her?

Dominick the guy that runs the store. John is his boss and the one that needs to be convinced

Can't they look on security cams and watch her goof off?

We only have two right over the registers :(

Other then that good just had a birthday and went on a trip to alaska :)

*sigh* They should have a couple other cameras pointed so that they can watch employees. Yeah, it can make for overlording bosses, but if I owned any kind of restaurant or business I'd have cameras around so I could look back and see what employees are actually bitching about.

Yup I loved the camera's we had at one of the sonics I worked at they were EVERYWHERE and if I lost something I could rewind them to see where I left it XD the owners did sometimes watch us when they couldn't sleep though and would randomly call the store and such so that was a little odd

It surprised me their lack of cameras too. Almost everywhere at my work place is being monitored by a security camera.

Hahaha at first I interpreted your post as saying that the entire Alaskan population was celebrating your birthday. Nice to hear you had a good celebration thought!

@Birdie: Eh, the Sonic was for the better even if they did creep on you. It meant they knew the good employees from the bad without question.

@Crim: Eh, it's a Taco Bell, so it doesn't surprise me. Her saying that a Sonic had more cameras, though, did surprise me. o.o

I do agree, that was the first sonic in the state of oregon though so it was high end investors that bought the store lots of nice fancy toys and computers.

Oh man, that's crazy. I guess you can compare them to the Noodle's and Company out here. While they're not new, they all have really cool toys. ^.^ For example, the pop machines with 200 flavors..

Definitely. I heard it was from 25-30s people are happiest.

I have never been to a Taco Bell myself. Although I understand more now why they have limited cameras. Due to their earlier mentioning of drunk customers, I was under the mistaken impression that they worked in a bar.

I had not heard that about happiness demographics. While of course I realize it does not translate to an individual level, I still feel weird thinking that I am as happy as I will ever be in life. xD

LOL you would think depending on the night, but where are the after bar munchie stop, in a collage town with TONs of bars along the strip.

yeah Sonics in colorado are a dime a dozen and were a bit ghetto in comparison to the one with all the toys. They thought themselves the new improved sonic XD

Taco Bells are a dime a dozen here in the U.S., but I suppose they might not be where you are. ^.^

But no, Birdie doesn't seem to be a bar kinda gal.
