I liked yours a lot. Sketched styles that somehow look clean (I have no idea how
you people do it, mine always get smudged) are beautiful.

Side note ~ We chose the same dress for Esten. X D

I'm a sketch artist by heart, you see. :3 It's the style I love doing the most, so I practice a lot with it. =P I love the fluidity of pencil lines, you see. =)

And omg, we did! 8DD;; It is a lovely dress though. =P <3<3

Ahhh, that explains it. I too love the way pencil flows on paper, much easier and looks better than CGed lines. I also like how the lines can be so easily modified between light / dark and thin / thick.

Pencil's are a work of art.

I can never get them to intertwine correctly and they look so freaking awkward! xD
The only exception was for Glammy's contest, but they weren't really your orthodox couple anyway. >>;
Like, I'll try to draw an arm around the girl, but I won't be able to get the arm to bend right, or the girl would be too close and she'd have to stand in front of him instead of besides him, etc etc etc @w@;; xD

Tentenpuff ~ Thank you! I dislike couples for that reason as well. Getting the two to interact in a plausible manner while still managing to make them look nice is an art we both need to practice it seems.

I like drawing muscley stomachs and sometimes my chests come out okay, it's the legs that I cannot do. Pfft, who needs legs anyways?

I'd suggest posting them up in a thread, but I don't know how well that would work.

I'm okay with man-legs (teehee, man legs) if I'm doing something experimental, but otherwise they look too skinny, or are just too bulky and look more like sausages than they do legs. xD

I personally don't like my lineart style too much, though. xD;
I fail at tracing over sketches, so I have to use the vector/pen tool in GIMP to make it work. ;^;
Then my lines don't really have any dimension. xD;
In reference to the pencil convo, that's why I like using pencils for casual art. :P Like, the lines can be adjusted as you go, you can darken certain parts, use thinner lines for details, etc. xD
But when I do lineart, none of my pencil "skills" are applyable. :<
