As far as the IE glitch, I'm going to assume that there's a reason you can't use firefox. Have you thought of letting a friend log into your account with firefox to redeem your orchids? Obviously, it would have to be a good one to let them into your count, but if you were determined to redeem them, it would do the trick.

I wish i could create a thread so people that can't get items can buy them off of me... or if a person trusted me i could go on their account and get the items for them that they wanted../.
