Oh quilts! I didn't know you make things 8D That is very swank! Any pictures? I can't knit or sew to save my life. My gf just knitted me a hat! I'm pretty pumped about it haha

Well, that's the thing...I've never actually quilted before, going to learn something new. And it will be self taught since I gots no money for quilting classes. However, when my grandmother kicked the bucket in January I was gifted with her sewing machine. Now I am going to use it and I also got the patterns for the doll quilts she made us as kids.
Kind of excited about it.

Honestly with a willing mind to learn and the time, all you need it youtube! No classes required!

Working lady! I work every day .____.;; even on the weekends. I don't have to on the weekends but if I don't it won't get done...darn salary job means I don't get paid though lol!

Salary jobs can definitely be the pits at times. My job right now is hourly and the wage isn't terrible, so I like working the overtime.

Yeah salary is shit. I get payed a salary fortnightly. My hourly rate works out to be like $21 an hour.
But still it's not enough. I live and work in the most expensive city in NZ. Prob in the world, It's truly unbelievable what we pay for shit here.
Least our boss is cool though, so if we work over time, she lets us go early or come in late :).

You make $1.25 more then me an hour. Sadly I am the only income right now and it's depressing. Trying to keep it together and not blow up on the husband. Hoping he finds something soon.

I prob earn less because that's in NZD not USD lol..
I wish it was USD hahaha.

US Dollar is not that great, could be stronger, but it's not.

Enjoying a nice evening at home with the husband. We just got in from doing laundry at my friend's house, finally ate something this evening...was getting pretty dodgy there for a bit.

Waiting for the Tylenol PM to kick in, see if that helps with my upset stomach and headache. Feeling a bit out of sorts.

I feel like that took forever to update...and since the exchange is kind of dead, and there are no new CI's to buy and trade, I'm not entirely sure how to make gold apart from posting LOL but at the minimum this will be a fun hangout in the hopes that the site comes back to it's former glory one day!

I decided to go for 50 books this year! I’m also down 69lbs and have 35lbs more to go to be at goal weight so I just want to continue eating properly, meal planning etc. And finally, midway through 2022 I made a promise to stop living to work and start working to live, so I’m going to try to continue that. In 2021 I worked 280 unpaid extra hrs (management sucks). I made some changes at work and in 2022 I worked maybe 50hrs unpaid. In 2023 my goal is to not work outside of my working hours at all. Fingers crossed!

Yikes, that’s so many work hours. I easily get caught up doing the same. An hour or two a day can easily slip by and not feel like much, but added up it really is a lot of time. I wish you the best of luck on yours goals! I need to lose some weight too but this dumb foot needs to improve. I’m the meantime I’m eating too much cheese
